There were only 850 of those 6-passenger Special Estate Wagons made and I’d imagine only a handful remain.
The video was a well presented overview giving me great inspiration as I’ve just begun the restoration of a 1941 Buick Roadmaster Convertible Coupe (Model 76C) I purchased 2 months ago. It’s very likely the only one here in Australia and I’m told only 50-60 remain out of the 1,845 produced. It’s in similar condition to the woody when you started that car. I’ll be watching your video many more times I’m certain.
PS I also own & Drive regularly a 1941 Buick Series-A Special Business Coupe (Model 44). My wife & I recently completed a 10-day holiday in the car covering 1,875km.
    Cheers Grant (Adelaide, Sth Australia)

some people's brains and thought processes are incredible! how and where does anyone even start to think of where to begin with a timber outer car like that to rebuild! its purely brian work!! that's awesome!!

If the runtime is only five minutes, why did I just spend an hour watching this. I stopped it and examined each new frame. Then I went back and just watched it through. Great work, Stuart, of great work by Ash.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is making it's way throughout the UK (as well as the rest of the world) and Ash is a bit under the weather so is self-isolating for a bit. So I dug through the archives to show the restoration he completed on a 1941 Buick Woodie a few years ago. What an amazing job.
I just want to take this opportunity of wishing you all well - stay safe, stay well and stay in. Hopefully see you next week.

I own a 1940 Buick Series 80, US Army staff car (1 of 19 built) and hope to go through it completely in the next few years. The video is excellent and inspirational. I got a great look at what lies ahead. Thanks for you fantastic channel. I started watching looking for tips on my WLA. Stay well and move forward!. Rick, from Corfu New York.

I couldn't agree more, this ended up to be a real passion project and Ash really outdid himself!

Beautiful, car will be worth a small fortune now in it's new condition, not many will touch a 'woody' project anymore. Wish Ash speedy recovery.

We sold it at auction a few years ago and lost a lot of money. Lesson learnt. Ash seems to be on the mend thankfully. How are things with you?

RiE-Store it would have killed at Barrat-Jackson in Arizona. Well I’ve been in isolation for 3 months with cows and calving season and plus here in the middle of the continent in Manitoba it’s the lowest numbers of virus “so far” but the first death was reported so hope that gets the nay sayers and the eejits to “wake the frik up”, hope you can isolate too

@@piperdoug428 We have many of the same kind in the UK thinking that "lockdown" means "holiday" and are going out, hitting the beaches and parks en mass. Only time will tell how this all plays out.

Sorry yes in hindsight I should have slowed the video down a bit. What with not filming anything this week it was just a bit of a last minute idea so put it together in just a few hours!
