What's your favorite cheap hotel in Las Vegas?
Golden Nugget
Just stayed at the flamingo in February. Easy to navigate the hotel, center strip and the food court was decent. Will be back
El Cortez. They have the best 21 game in town, no kids, and it's easy to get a comped room. Also the area around it has everything you could ask for.
@@rickhamilton2959 shhhhhhh!!!
4 queens can be booked for sub $40.
I just stood at the Rio last weekend and asked for the remodeled room and Man let me tell you I was impressed. I was happy with my stay nice clean. It felt brand new. Give them a chance.
I'm going in a week and I'm staying there , did u ask for the remodeled room at check in ?
@@sickossfu3786 yes I did. I slipped the girl about 20 or 40 bucks. I can’t remember for the upgrade but check to see if they’re going to give it to you from the beginning if not just slip the people over the counter some money it’s worth it
Just stayed 5 days at the Rio last week. Awesome stay!
Bought a coupon book from Las Vegas Advisor that includes one for no for no resort fee at the Rio. That saved us $45 per night.
We did ask for a renovated room. Very nice.
Food was good in the food hall.
Definitely staying there again.
Last time I stayed at the Rio they got rid of the shuttle to the Strip so you have to Uber everywhere. Not good!
@@sickossfu3786 do it anyway
I have a huge soft spot for the Strat, I got married at the top, and have stayed there many times. Rooms are clean and decent. BUT- I tried to go last summer and gamble there and when I was told it was $20 to park, I left. I absolutely refuse to pay to park at a place I am about to gamble at.
I'm with you ... I'll never go to a casino that charges for parking or resort fees that's why I have been going to Laughlin Nevada.
as far as cheap hotels, Exalibur is where its at. that is if you are a member of their player's club. free rooms and they waive the resort fee even for low-rollers.
Always stay at the Strat as it has renovated rooms for dirt cheap and i love the restaurants and gaming floor ,....might not be the best location but it great if your looking for something right in between DT and not far from the main Strip ..
Jacob always the most informative source on all things Vegas
💯
Just stayed at Tuscany Suites for 5 nights, in part from some of your previous videos. Amazing property and amenities. Very relaxed atmosphere. We aren't big gamblers but ended up with a heap of comp dollars to spend on property so free breakfasts every day was a real bonus. Also, being able to walk next door to Ellis Island was great. Only a 5 minute walk to the Horseshoe from our building, which was handy to jump on the monorail. We walked the area day and night and felt completely safe.
If you're staying on Fremont Street or at the El Cortez and you like sushi, you HAVE TO check out the Sushi Ichiban place!! The best sushi I've had in Vegas for $30 all-you-can-eat and they fly the fish in from Long Beach daily. Couldn't believe how fresh it was for an extremely reasonable price
I love it! I go to Ichiban everytime I go to Vegas
The Rio and Sahara are the 2 casinos as a local that I go to. The Rio is getting better day by day.
Thank you Jacob. This is very helpful.
We stayed at the Flamingo and for the price and location found it to be great. Good to see Rio being updated!!!
Your presentations on Vegas are excellent and informative making one think of many overlooked happenings
You are always so informative. Thanks
Unpopular opinion, but my daughter loves Circus Circus, we have been going every August for her birthday since she was 7 (except 2020). We have never had an issue. We always had a clean room and as she says, we never are really in the room because we are always out doing things. Staff there have always been nice to us. She loves the entrance and its lights!
Glad to hear it. Circus Circus gets made fun of a lot, they l but they've been in business since the 60s because they do serve the family segment of Vegas Travelers
Nice. Is it free parking there?
Awesome info! I'll be in Vegas next week but probably won't make it to these properties (mostly booked up with work related/conference things around MGM Grand). I'm happy to hear that they are bringing the Rio back to life. Rio was pretty nice back in '95 when I first went. Great videos.
Well done. I have never stayed at any of these places but I have played at most of them. I have never been to Rio but I think I will next month. Good video, well done.
Thanks Jacob!
I love your videos. This was a very informative video. Lots of choices and decisions to make. Thank you.
great advice here thanks big fella
Like the info n we use. Cheaper the better in las vegas is always good for my wife myself n for my family.we enjoy las vegas n is always different when we go on yearly vacation.👍
Great video Jacob. Keep on keeping on brother
Thank you Jacob . I had to postpone my trip last fall . Was planning to stay at the Horseshoe . I look forward to your reviews be it hotels or restaurants .
Jacob is the best tour guide ever❤😊
My favorite WAS Tropicana but I had to stay there in a group thing 2 times. It was fine. I have stayed at Treasure Island and the price and experience was good. I'm a Paris and Planer Hollywood guy now because I'm in Caesars and their location and options for fun, dining, and getting on strip. Although previous stays included Mirage and Wynn. I may try Flamingo renovated room in future. Looks fun there. I like a little riff raff to be honest. Great video by the way! Always watch anything you put out.
Just ran into you at Bellagio! Thanks for your recommendations and updates! Cheers from Chicago! 💚💚
You're welcome! 😁
verry informative 👌👍good video
Thank you, Jacob❤
You're so welcome!
I stayed @ The Tuscany shortly after it opened, 20+ years ago, and it was great!!!
Good list, especially since you included El Cortez, Sahara and Tuscany which get little discussion
That El Cortez airline promo is great. Had no idea about the other offerings at both El Cortez and Sahara. Awesome info!
Very informative, thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
I agree with this list. I've stayed at all but 2 of them. The ones that charge the daily parking fee i add that to the price, so some aren't under $100. Jacob definitely has a leg day, those calves looking good❤
Just came back from Vegas what a place definitely coming back soon
Awesome!
Staying at the RIO next week looking forward to it
Jacob you are always Mr. INFO always making it simple for everyone ( JUST THE BEST )
I stayed at Tuscany Suites when I was younger and honestly had a great time at the property. We went dancing or listened to live music each night, the food was wonderful, the pool (although small) was great. The only down side was the walk back to the hotel at night from the strip. It was a little uncomfortable, but nothing an Uber or Lyft won’t fix (we were college kids on a strict budget back then, haha).
Good video, Jacob. I just booked El Cortez for May 5.
Hope you enjoy it!
👍The Strat is still the best value property, ie bangs for bucks, that I've stayed in on/near the Strip in 25+ years - maybe I was just lucky and the check-in lady took pity on me (I was with the ex...). The only downside was that it was definitely NOT safe to walk back to late at night.
Another informative video from Jacob. I don't think anyone can beat his videos. He has about done it all. :) Question Jacob, why, after 1000's of extra gambling area openings have occurred in the U.S. does Las Vegas remained so popular? It's a bit puzzling to me just because of parking and resort fees alone are so high. Maybe it has to do with more choices of things to do in Las Vegas.
Good list, Jacob! Another nice thing about the Flamingo is that the Linq Prominade is just out the door. Lots of food and entertainment options there. The downside is that you will probably smell pot in the hallways. This may not be a downside to everyone.
Name a place in Vegas where you don’t smell pot these days.
Rio is definitely making strides and coming along nicely. I stayed in the the 1600 sq ft Masquerade Suite in August 23 just in the last days of it being operated by Caesars and it was very clear that they weren’t interested with upkeep. They were however doing the exterior painting and starting on the lights. I’d say give them a chance now going forward
Thanks
Good list
I don’t like gambling but I like these videos, keep up the good work jacob.
I have a Planet Hollywood booking on the strip later in the year for 4 nights for a total of $360. That includes all the fees and is a City View Ultra Hip room. It's costing us more in resort fees than the total cost of the 4 night room price..
Just came back from a one week stay at the Holiday Inn Vacations Club at Koval Ln, perfect for a group of 6 if you don´t need a Casino on property. Easy 5 minute walk to the Linq Promenade.
I was shocked at how nice the starts casino floor looked, granted we only got a brief look at it but still that looks way nicer than I was expecting.
Has anyone ever been to Vegas and actually seen Jacob filming or doing his thing and said hi to him?? That's on my bucket list ❤
No and if I did, I'd leave him alone because I dont believe in bothering people.
I stayed at the Flamingo for a few days last month, the renovated Go rooms are really nice. Would stay there again.
Great video Jacob, and thanks for the news 😊
I am Jacob this is my life in Vegas .. been hearing that for years now 😎
Resorts World has some really good deals Sunday through Thursday. My pick for cheap hotel.
I love the Strat! It's the first property I stayed at in Vegas and I make it a point to stop in each time I visit the strip. Definitely underrated.
Thanks for the update Jacob. Now, if the casino's would only get rid of those rip-off resort fees.
Damn Jacob love that thumbnail picture. I def gotta use that as my new oh face 😮
you covered my favorite El Cortez by a mile I already knew about its old school stuff that they still do and really is a good experience... seagulls 1941 is legit 24 hour pizza on the weekends
Great video thanks. I will be going to las vegas in August from new York.
Nice job bro😊
Thanks! 😁
Headed to Vegas in August. Planning to visit different hotels so this is perfect
I always stayed at The Strat/Stratosphere. I just enjoyed the location. And would take the Deuce if I wanted to go to the Strip or Downtown.
The el Cortez is my fav !! Only draw back .. no pool
Oh wow I didn't realize Sahara had that circus style outdoor sports screens that's freaking awesome
The sushi place across from the El Cortez is for real. El Cortez has a neat barber shop up the stairs. The old penthouse is occasionally available at the normal room rate. It's huge but you've got to walk up the stairs to the 3rd floor.
Thank you so much for making this video! I've been BOYCOTTING VEGAS for the last 10 years because of how expensive it has become. I haven't won in Vegas in 12 years. Reno on the other hand is my favorite place to gamble, but I am getting bored of it and want to give Vegas another shot. I almost went in 2023 until I saw the UNBELIEVABLE hotel prices, one place wanted $1,200 a night YIKES! Your list is amazing and YOU TELL WHAT THE TABLE GAME LIMITS ARE which is exactly what I'm looking for I'm a proud low roller, and live for Free Play and comped rooms. Paying for parking was UNHEARD OF 14 YEARS AGO!
Hello jacob im new in your channel. Just wanna ask if which will you recommend if im with my wife and 2 yrs old daughter. Thanks!
Thank you, Mr. J
for the video and Vegas bring back buffets themed hotels,, unlimited free parking and no stinking resort fees the way it used to be!
A-men!!!
For me it’s hard to beat El Cortez and the D Downtown. On the strip. Flamingo amd Treasure Island is my top 2 for affordable places.
Linq is my go to cheap spot
😎
Great video Jacob!
Isn't Tuscany Suites a swinger hotel?
Do tell....😊
I was in Vegas at the end of January, and the Excalibur was a pretty good value. I know it's old, but the room was clean and the price was right.
As an MGM haunter Excalibur is my cheap go to and offers plenty of comps!
Yes! Room was cleaner than Mandalay!
Have you done a room review of Planet Hollywood? I cant seem to find a video from you on that property. Myself and my lartner are staing there later in the year, it'd be good to hear your thoughts of the property. Thank you 🙂
My fiancée and I stayed there last year, and they bumped us to a suite for no charge because the room type we booked wasn't available. (we only needed a room for the night because we were staying with friends the rest of the trip and already had our fill of the strip from the previous 3 days) The suite was amazing! Basically, it's like a spacious one bedroom apartment.
We didn't do much on property other than grab coffee and walk around a bit because we were meeting friends just after check out.
The property seemed to be on the nicer side. I honestly didn't check out many gambling options, just some low roller slots to kill time.
Room was clean, prices were fair for the room we originally booked. I was honestly surprised with the quality of the place because I have also not seen any videos on it or looked into it beforehand. Obviously, there's a Hollywood movie theme throughout the property. I'd go back 100% I'm just not sure about rewards/ gambling/ food/ entertainment options. Sorry I didn't have much more info than our short stay there.
I used to frequent Vegas from 2001-2013. I stayed in most of these hotels (old Sahara). I’m surprised Circus Circus wasn’t on here (unless they’re gone now).
I have built up well over 3 million MyVegas points, so my favorite “cheap” hotel is…Bellagio/Aria/Vdara/Mandalay/ParkMGM (whichever one will accept my “2 night for 150,000 point” voucher) because they’re, well, Free (well, if you pay the $50/night resort property)…Haven’t actually PAID for a room night since 2015 (twelve trips using vouchers)😊
1:30 nice
The Strat is fine and it’s easy to get to and around from there, it’s very close to downtown and the Arts District in addition to the deck, restaurants and rides at the top which are amazing.
You mentioned the long lines at Tuscany Suites to check in. Are there also long lines to check out?
Staying at the flamingo in May
Going to be in Vegas in less than a month
Hope to see you around
10-15 years ago you could get top quality hotels for a great price, now almost everywhere is expensive on the strip once you add in stealth add ons like the ridiculous resort fees. Sadly can't see that changing until demand drops which feels inevitable over the coming years given how expensive Vegas has become.
Booked my handyman a room at the Strat once and he had his work truck and tools stolen. Now, I also pay attention to the parking lots/structure. I wonder if paid parking (Circa) or 4 hours free (Fontainebleau) deters car thefts and breakins.
some of the Rio rooms are pretty darn big for the price too
I booked a room at the flamingo on a weekday for 8 dollars!😊
😎
😎
Plus $40 resort fee…..
Jacob I Have an idea for ya as a video You should go to the barcode and do the bfb challenge LOL
Jacob, I will be in Vegas in September for my 50th birthday. Hopefully I will see you and Laci when I am out there.
Awe sweet! Have great fun! I hope you are doing better. I saw in Norma's that you were doing so so. Didn't have a chance to respond. x
I was sick for 5 weeks in February-March. This came after being sick for two months in the Fall. I booked the trip in September with the assumption that my financial situation will be much better by then. As long as I can stay healthy it should be. Some people get a normal life. I am not some people.
@@pawliksworldofentertainmen1734 Awe sorry to hear. Prayers that's behind you. No one has a "normal" life. What looks normal is what most will only show. We all have problems no matter who we are. Keep your head up. :) x
Thank you. I hope it is behind me as well.
Does the Rio have a shuttle to and from the strip? Asking for a friend.
I stayed at the Strat several years ago and my room had bedbugs. No matter how good the reviews are now, I'll never go back.
i LOVE the Strat.
The Strat have beds with no bug cover over them. I saw one Strat employee walk past me with a bug spray can, which I’m assuming is for bed bugs.
I found hair in my bed just from watching this vid lol. All jokes aside I was in Vegas for the Rock and Roll marathon last and some of these picks are looking even more rough from what I remembered. RIP Tropicana.
It's kind of telling how only 1 Caesars (and NO MGM Properties) made the cut!
Hey Jacob there 😁 s another youtuber linking jer videos to yours so wjen a notification shows jacob yours but when you play it its another youtuber. Shes is talking about the largest pizza in vegas. I thought it was yours. Kust letting you know. Thx
Tuscany is great, but it isn't cheap. Like nearly everywhere else, the resort fees are ridiculous.
Jacob does not skip leg day!
🦵
Did Jacob bump his head on a sprinkler head at the El Cortez? That was close!
Jacoob 😃
I would stay at the Strat but due to the location it’s a no. My fav cheap hotel is Linq or Harrah’s
Staying at Apache in Freemont soon. Not on the list 😞
Me too! Hope to meet some departed guests during my 4 day stay...
at like 7:15 you looked like a giant walking through that hallway what ? lol
great f*ckinvid bro. thx
Glad you liked it!
The Grand Downtown isn't the cheapest but great all around value. Cheaper table mins, lower cost restuarants and great location. Just fair enough from Fremont to not have any noise.
Wherever I'm compted
