You guys rock. I just got my tmaxx back out since my daughter was born. 8 years it sat and with a new 3.3 and a slipper setup, reverse delete and random other things its as badass as the day i shut her down. Bashing engaged!
I have an HPI Savage, and an Associated MGT, And i had a 2.5r Traxxas T-Maxx. The 2.5r in my t-maxx was an awesome motor. Easy to tune, and great power in the t-maxx. Probably one of the easiest motors to run i have had. Good video too!
You guys really know how to control your vehicles! Really great video, I just picked up this strange T-Maxx at my local hobbie store for $275 dollars. Somebody had it as an original T-Maxx 2.5, they took the 2.5 out, dropped a 3.3 in it and converted it into a racing truggy. The chassis ARE T-Maxx chassis, but otherwise, everything else has been changed. Its a really snazzy looking truck and i'll defiantly post some videos when i'm able to. 5* Happy Truckin'! Brandon
I found out the song, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei. Who knew lol From the Kill Bill 1 soundtrack or Hotei's album "Electric Samurai"
again agreed brushless has more torque out of the hole,,,,but that leads to flippin on the roof everytime you touch the trigger.clutch shoes are ajustable and you can control the launce much nicer with nitro.
i had a 2.5 in my tmaxx and couldn't keep it from overheating. i tried everything including running it rich. finally traded up to an os tm18... nice vid
yea its pretty good for beginners. but the jato or the 4 tec is for experts since its built mostly for speed. i also recommend HPI there pretty good a durable.
@jlsracer8 well it depends what you want to do with it, it can take a beating but the savage x is alot stronger, but the t-maxx is a good all around truck
They do that with throttle and brake control. When your in the air if you hit the brakes your nose will go down and if you hit the throttle then your nose will go up. They do the same thing in motocross.
That looks really fun, I'd like to take mine to a skate park sometime. Your a good driver, i like the way you actually went for good landings, instead of going balls to the wall and breaking shit. minus the back flips though lol. What oil where you using, and did you have spacers in?
Alright! Cool vid. The other park users seemed cool about your taking over a section. But that concrete must be as hard on Rc cars as it is on skaters bones! 5/5
@William19299 Im not really sure. You see people jumping them and Ive rolled one a few times. My dad has got one and we have only just run it in so we shall see but from what I can see and what I have been told, I dont think so. :)
Tmaxx is a nice truck but i just prefer the savage cos i love jumping and my only other experience with traxxas was with a Esavage and the chassis broke in 2 down the seam the 2nd day i had it :S nice driving bud. gettin ma savage in a few days... any tips?
the last minute was good...rest of it was a bit dull tho...get some stiffer suspension & u can catch way more air...here's something a little more action packed
awesome vid man, would you recomend gettin this truck or something else ? i am lookin at gettin it but not sure cause everyone is sayin that it is not that durable. anyone help thanks
@BeyondAwesomeDude The revo would probably be your best bet, there is really no difference between the nitro and electric versions other than that one is nitro and the other is electric. Im pretty sure that all of the newer electric models from traxxas are waterproof too. the e-revo and e-maxx are too totally different trucks by the way, the e-revo is a racer and light basher, and the e-maxx is more of a basher than the revo but could also be race worthy with the right upgrades.
Great vid! could you tell me what the name of the song is that starts at 1:40 in the vid, and who sings it. I have been looking everywhere for that tune. btw great truck, i have the e version. wisah we had a skate park that was worth a crap. Thanks

Nice film guys. Jst got my own T-Maxx and will try out at a skate park as well. These things are pretty durable if you know how to drive them.

nice vid man!! nice!
I found out the song, "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei. Who knew lol From the Kill Bill 1 soundtrack or Hotei's album "Electric Samurai"
@jlsracer8 The maxx trucks are very durable. The only thing about nitro is that you have to tune the engines and do maintenence on it like a real car.
Cool vid.
SWEET !!
i consider this extreme :) i would never do that with mine, its no shelf queen but i do take care of it. props on the 4909 lol gotta love reverse
a skatepark or bmx track is a nitro trucks best friend. i need to get mine fixed and do this.. its been 4 years
again agreed brushless has more torque out of the hole,,,,but that leads to flippin on the roof everytime you touch the trigger.clutch shoes are ajustable and you can control the launce much nicer with nitro.
ok thanks :) ... i already have a slash 4x4 and i'm thinking about buying a t-maxx :)
i had a 2.5 in my tmaxx and couldn't keep it from overheating. i tried everything including running it rich. finally traded up to an os tm18... nice vid

very cool. carefull of that railing lol hate to have your whole front end riped off
yeah i know enough to fix them ive had a couple of good electric ones before that i bought from the hobby shop.
@jlsracer8
well it depends what you want to do with it, it can take a beating but the savage x is alot stronger, but the t-maxx is a good all around truck
The only thing I could think about in this video was ripping that spine/bowl section on my bike. SOOOOO KILLER
lol your hell good driver!
@jlsracer8 definatly the revo 3.3!!!! i love mine
They do that with throttle and brake control. When your in the air if you hit the brakes your nose will go down and if you hit the throttle then your nose will go up. They do the same thing in motocross.
lol at 1:18... its like "oh another ramp, CRAP a wall"
That looks really fun, I'd like to take mine to a skate park sometime. Your a good driver, i like the way you actually went for good landings, instead of going balls to the wall and breaking shit. minus the back flips though lol. What oil where you using, and did you have spacers in?
