I just got my first Nitro Rc a few days ago, and lemme tell ya... Crap like this is HARD.. heck.. just getting the feel of making steady jumps takes a ton of practice lol. these guys have talent
@WuschelofDespair You're thinking of the conservation of angular momentum. As the radius between the center and outside decreases, the speed must increase to maintain the constant momentum. Any deviation of this will break the 1st rule of thermodynamics.
@SHMOKEYSPARTAN Depends on the car, the quality of the parts, the speed, and angle of impact. Japanese RC makers make brittle MTs compared to what youd get from US makers, though the Savage breaks that by holding the reputation as the "unbreakable" MT
Please help! I am looking to get an off road rc car and i want to do jumps. Ideally a fast petrol/nitro one. Any recomendations on a robust one that wont break with doing jumps etc?
how do you pivot the front and back end of the car? it looks like people can control how forward or backward the car leans? how? hit the break or something?
I think it was from where he had the clutch still engaged when it hit the ground, and the sudden impact on the tires slammed the flywheel to an instant low RPM.
hay i own a bunch of rc trucks but never really jump them so how do you make the front of the truck go up and down in the air. is it just by over reving or braking in air. please respond
lemme try to explain it in english. I think it has something to do the spin of the wheels. the "spin" of the car needs to be balanced. its the same as if u sit on a spin chair and spin. if u put ur arms and legs away from the body there is a bigger radius to be rotated, as a blance u spin slower. because otherwise here would be energy coming out form nowhere. and I think it's the same with the car. the wheels spin in the air but do not have resistance of the floor anymore,so the car itself spins
they don't weight, it's just like motocross or monster tucks, they tap the breaks or gas to control the rotation of the tires mid air and that causes the cars to tilt
@robbyboy64 if u rev the car before u hit the jump then it tends to backflip and you keep reving until the car rotates in the air and once its in line with the ground u pull the brakes and the stopped momentum from the wheels levels the car out to land
all you need is one with brakes becaue when your in the air if you hit the brakes your front nose will come down.. and "panic" rev in the air to rotate backwards..giving it alot of the front of the ramp helps.
if u want cheaper than hpi u should try an xtm x-cellerator.. they are only about $200 but they are not quite as tough as savages but still pretty tough.
thanks kitbots im upgrading my trucks (revo, tmaxx, savage xl) and so are my friends. where gonna spend like a thousand dollars between the four of us. so when we take our army of trucks to the skatepark we can bash like no other bashers. BASH ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@crazpaintballr with 4wd, when you gun the engine and the wheels spin fast, it makes the front end go up and if you keep going it will flip. if you hit the brakes it will do a front flip.
Yes, it was a nice finish, but i need a new engine, after this event. My lovely OS is broken. I hope we can make more another videos about our nice hobby.with greats rarü
FINALLY! Some nitro cars landing to transition! Way to go guys great job on the footage.

Thats crazy, did you have to replace any parts?
Did many of these cars get damaged? Also, it looks like a kind of event that loads of people would go to so what else was on at the time??
that looks fun. insane double backflip
Why do so many not hit the landing? Anyways, nice jumps. Lucky you that the trucks survived.
That awsome how do the control those flips??
who made the jump? That would be sweet to have at events. I would like to try the brushless 1/16 revo's on it.
Herrlich, immer dieser letzte Aufschrei der Modelle vor dem "Todessturz"! Än-än-än - Ääeeiiii - PENG!
how do they control the cars in the air like that? im looking at buying a nitro rc car and was wondering whats best for under 200
@SHMOKEYSPARTAN Depends on the car, the quality of the parts, the speed, and angle of impact. Japanese RC makers make brittle MTs compared to what youd get from US makers, though the Savage breaks that by holding the reputation as the "unbreakable" MT
where this at? any clues? nice vid btb
mann i wish i had the money (and the heart) to do this to my cars haha :]
That nose stand was amazing
how do they land that often?! can u like, rev it or sumthing to make it lean forward or sumthing?
at the end that was SICK
what shock spring are these guys using. and what silicone oil do the have in the front and back
Please help!
I am looking to get an off road rc car and i want to do jumps.
Ideally a fast petrol/nitro one.
Any recomendations on a robust one that wont break with doing jumps etc?
ich finde es total cool
cool ma friend had one of thoes.
how do they level them selves out????
Whats the best site to get good RC nitros that can jump and take a hit? Whats the best kinds? Kthnx
how do you pivot the front and back end of the car? it looks like people can control how forward or backward the car leans? how? hit the break or something?
awesome! my nitro car dont like jumping
how is that even possible?! that is so cool...
It's raining cars ... nice ...
hahaha perfect title the last one was the best
great video
I think it was from where he had the clutch still engaged when it hit the ground, and the sudden impact on the tires slammed the flywheel to an instant low RPM.
cool looks like a video game
hay i own a bunch of rc trucks but never really jump them so how do you make the front of the truck go up and down in the air. is it just by over reving or braking in air. please respond
When you're airborne trigger your throttle to backflip, and brake to front flip. It's from the centrifigal force of the tires spinning.
how much does those RCs go? 40km/h? more?
how do they control the cars in the air?? is it the throttle and brakes??
WOW the best :D
thats a sweet jump
Thanks man. i was wondering and i had no idea.
lots, you saw as it got darker there were only 2 cars left, a revo and some buggy or i think it was a kyosho truggy thing. i love revos... revorocks!
wow you guys are good at tricks and geting big air
the jumps was good, but at the end witht he endo. that was hot.
i really like this vid
thats cool how they can change positions in the air
that blue one has a radical engine,
it sounds like a firetuck siren
coool
la ultima parte
How do they have control over their cars in the air?
lemme try to explain it in english. I think it has something to do the spin of the wheels. the "spin" of the car needs to be balanced. its the same as if u sit on a spin chair and spin. if u put ur arms and legs away from the body there is a bigger radius to be rotated, as a blance u spin slower. because otherwise here would be energy coming out form nowhere. and I think it's the same with the car. the wheels spin in the air but do not have resistance of the floor anymore,so the car itself spins
that last one was nice
@MrJoester16 they use the torque from the engine to lean it forward or back
they don't weight, it's just like motocross or monster tucks, they tap the breaks or gas to control the rotation of the tires mid air and that causes the cars to tilt
nice finishhh
insane jumps!!!!!!
this is wicked man i would love to do this with my xtm mammoth st but it would probs break straight away lol not vbery reliable either lol
@robbyboy64 if u rev the car before u hit the jump then it tends to backflip and you keep reving until the car rotates in the air and once its in line with the ground u pull the brakes and the stopped momentum from the wheels levels the car out to land
talk about an massive Jump Session!
ist das in oberbüren? Gibts diesen Ivent noch?
ending was the best part. MT can do a handstand.. lol
how they handling them in the air??
all you need is one with brakes becaue when your in the air if you hit the brakes your front nose will come down.. and "panic" rev in the air to rotate backwards..giving it alot of the front of the ramp helps.
how did u control the car's flight?
2:15 awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for your help i live in Henry county Georgia.
i like these cars
i have a Infinity by exceed rc. its alright but the revo looks great
Insane!!!
if u want cheaper than hpi u should try an xtm x-cellerator.. they are only about $200 but they are not quite as tough as savages but still pretty tough.
Die armen Autos:D
RC Fly to the Sky :D
Whilst in mid air accelleration will make you flip back, and braking will bring you back forward.
i have one of these and they dont have gyros. u can buy a drift box which is basicaly a gyro to help with steering
good video
HOW DO THEY MAKE THE RC CARS TILT IN MID AIR???!!!!! I really need to know how to do this!
thanx
thanks kitbots im upgrading my trucks (revo, tmaxx, savage xl) and so are my friends. where gonna spend like a thousand dollars between the four of us. so when we take our army of trucks to the skatepark we can bash like no other bashers.
BASH ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you control the cars in the air?
The end was sweet
2:38 talk about 4wd and awesome brakes
@crazpaintballr with 4wd, when you gun the engine and the wheels spin fast, it makes the front end go up and if you keep going it will flip. if you hit the brakes it will do a front flip.
its raining rc cars!! aaahhhhhhhh!
More like high-pitched F1 engine sounds, bro.
i think it works with the torque from the motor. to make the car lean back in the air gun the throttle forwards, and the same the other way
i have my CARSON buggy 1:8 i won't never jump so high ! these guys are crazy ! nice vid but why are they all jumping to far at the right side
how do they balance it out?
Crazy! mines way to slow n heavy to get as high as them.
weee! flying rampage!
how can they balance thier rc??? i see the car can tilt left or right
@hitman4191
i am pretty sure thats not even the us...
although the rc xgames this year had something like that.
sick how do they do that can u do that with electric and can you turn electric rc's into gas
I just see cars flying through the air and hoping they land on 4 wheels and on the ramp xD
if u mash the throttle it will tilt back if u mash the brake it will tip forward and it will most likely not work with an electric on gas
thats sick
because the weels are rotating wich causes the whole vehical to move beacuse of the groves in the tyres
Lol They jumped that firestorm so hard it broke the silencer..AWSEOME
alla des video is sau gail
this video is very very very good
kl they r weell good at 2.03 was gd !
how does it shift its weight?
I wish I had a ramp like that,,,,,
Yes, it was a nice finish, but i need a new engine, after this event. My lovely OS is broken. I hope we can make more another videos about our nice hobby.with greats rarü
how do u make it do backflips?
strictly speaking mate, true nitro, is gas, 'NO', nitrous oxide, which is a gas. but what do these cars run on? just high octane petrol?
They should make an rc car demolition derby
@TheEr0401 To Lean Back: Throttle
Learn Forward: Brake
Hope that helps
