The chapter on “My song structure story” hit home - your experience of not appreciating the importance of structure at first, and then eventually learning how critical it actually is to an enjoyable song lines up with where I am at right now in my songwriting journey. That is one thing I am looking forward to leveling up with the help of EZ Drummer 3 arrangements tool. Excellent series, thank you for making and sharing this! (It even made me think of the structure of this comment 😅).
Definitely the best instruction on Toontrack products, bar none. With this power in your hands, videos on other styles of music would quickly widen your audience.
EZDrummer should hire you full time to make tutorials for them -- this series was excellent. I really appreciate how you took the time to go through every aspect of the program. I now feel like I have a solid understanding of the program. I also applied some of the stylistic advice given throughout and saw IMMEDIATE improvements in the quality of my drum tracks. Overall, the information was easy to consume and actionable. Thank you for this!!!
Yeah man! thanks for all your excellent EZ drummer content- it has really helped me to quickly get a handle on the software! much appreciated- you've really figured this stuff out to an expert level. Cheers!
Great story on ego! As a musician of 40 plus years, I can totally relate. Also, thank you for the time and passion you put into these videos. As a complete newbie to EZ Drummer, these videos have been a massive time saver for me. Rock on brother! 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼
Thanks a lot! Tgis series got me over the hump with EZ drummer. Ive been struggling the past few months with different things and especially finding inspiration. In addition to helping we with the software it helped get my music back on track which helped me get back on track. You're awesome. Thanks again.
Big thanks for making this little series and for sharing tips and personal story on a song structure subject! This will be a tremendous help in my future work. I just wanted to suggest that if someone has a problem with finding custom arrangement folder, perhaps sharing an entire EZDrummer project file with a little side note that says "Make sure to save this track as an arrangement!" could be a good alternative until Toontrack gives us an option to share them more comfortably :D Just a little idea. Thanks again for the great content and rock on :)

Great thanks due to Shootie for getting this out there.... huge effort and - a rare attribute - genuine modesty and style.

Love your intro/outro riff. Great job on structure in general. It seems you have no prechorus which is totally acceptable. You doubled your last chorus. Good work! When you start thinking about mixing, your snare and guitars occupy the same frequencies so your snare is getting buried. Simply make a dip in the guitars EQ to allow that snare to pass through. I think I would have bobbed my head more if that snare was clear as day guiding me. Fun stuff, keep it up!

Hi Shootie, thanks for the videos, they have really helped me!! One issue I have is can I export each track as an audio file? I used to do this on ez2 but it seems no one is doing this for cubase. Any chance you have covered this somewhere?? thanks again...Tony
Tony, If I follow you correctly... In EZD3 Main Menus>Track>Bounce>Export. Let me know.
@@ShootieSchool Hi Shootie, thanks for this!! as per normal I had tried this but got the "full" drum kit, Once I understood that you have to click to individual parts it worked perfectly. You are a star!!! now time to burn the midnight oil...........
thanks for the info
You got it!
Is there a way to change time signatures and tempos within the song creator? Thanks.
No, only in the Song Track.
Thanks
What a great help. Thank you so much!!!

Hey man, have you done a video about the grid editor (how to design or change the grooves). Great show. Thanks in advance.
I only have a few Public Grid Editor videos. Here is the Playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLi47uknUXzCycYdh-uSLbxgaHs2S-20Jc.html
I am in production on my Grid Editor Course. Do check back about it or sign up on my mailing list if you want to hear about it's release right away: shootieschool.com/mailinglist/
Will do man. Looking forward to the edit grid video
Really appreciate your help!
They should develop this concept into a DAW.
Interesting no one has tried to mimic it yet, this feature 15+ years old.
Wow..a lot to take in on this one! Here's my finished track: ua-cam.com/video/Fv1Yvj0yz2c/v-deo.html
Please edit out breathing and mouth licking sounds
Thanks for the feedback. Looking for volunteers.
HOW DO YOU TYPE THAT FAST WITH ONE HAND?! BLACK MAGIC?!
LOL
My head hurts and I'm only half way through!😯
I hope you want the preceding videos first!
