After they brought her back from the restroom and she sat down in the chair, the jacket was gone? Someone took her nice jacket? They owe her a jacket. A better place to have put the jacket was to put it on the chair, this way when they returned from the restroom, it would have still more than likely been there. WOW! Sad to see so many destitute. This elderly lady definitely needs help. I know that not all want help but often it is because of fear and not thinking clearly. What we may perceive as normal in wanting help many others do not. Not all who live in makeshift dwellings are drug addicts. The every day struggles to get food, dealing with emotional stress , loneliness , trying to keep hygiene in order in difficult situations is enough to break anyone. I know there are shelters but many are hesitant to go there. Years of trying to survive often makes people struggle to follow rules . We need a society where the needy, poor, single struggling parents, veterans etc are taken care of. Money spent on weapons and military packages abroad could be well spent on those in need.Bless the lost souls and all struggling, the police and rangers and sanitation workers trying to do their work .

I can only imagine what tourists from other countries observe and think when they visit tourist spots like Santa Monica and Venice Beach. I was just in Japan last week walked around Tokyo for 5 days saw probably 10 homeless people tops they were respectful, cleaned up all their stuff during day, weren’t harassing anyone or visibly doing drugs in front of adults/children or acting in a way to make me think they needed mental health services and could snap any moment. The idea of shame and honor and respecting others so as not to impose a burden on the quality of life for those around is something I was truly amazed to see first hand. Why not do something positive like force those suffering from mental illness or addiction into programs that can build up their self respect like paying them to clean the city and public places. Then once they have this sense of respect and needed counseling/medication they can start to rebuild their lives. I grew up near Beverly Hills as a kid but moved away for better schooling and employment opportunities and just because I was born there doesn’t mean now as adult I’m entitled to live there for free wherever I want because it’s where my friends or family live. I’ve moved so many times for cheaper housing and better jobs to maintain my independence and not rely on anyone else. Also I didn’t grow up rich either parents are both dead and I’ve known my share of hardships being on my own since 16.

Yes. The same woman that made about 7-10 trips about 100 ft. each time, moving from the beach to the parking lot. I wondered what happened to her after she reached the parking lot. SMCU cut to a different scene once she reached that point. Obviously she didn't go far. I'd know that voice anywhere.
So it seems that going ‘hands on’ with LEOs is the fast & only way they’ll get cuffed & stuffed..
@@mikejones8866 Her voice definitely has a distinct sound! 😬💔🙏🏻

The city needs to establish a curfew for the beach so that people cannot set up camp in the early hours of the morning. I think it would prevent a lot of problems like this.
The joke is on the citizens of Los Angeles because this woman will be back on the streets after 3 1/2 hours if that
Someone's Mom or sister. Hoping she get's the care she needs to survive in this rough world! Prayers for her!
this women was addressed by seven .. upwards to ten LE officers and four parmedics for over an hour… the cost there alone could have probably been used for proper medical treatment and prevention..
just doesn’t seem very cost efficient or effective
I have to commend the officers for showing concern and an incredible amount of patience. Thank you for all you're doing. Not an easy job. One at a time, if that's what it takes.
Sad. Sad, sad! Do they need so many officers for one little woman? Tear jerker!
Rotten ole B, it’s not your home it’s a public beach so get your crap and move it to the frickin woods!
The woods are public land all your doing is moving the problem to someone else
The person that brought her black jacket back (before they took her to use the restroom) you see him placing it on the ground, next to the chair and left it there.
After they brought her back from the restroom and she sat down in the chair, the jacket was gone? Someone took her nice jacket? They owe her a jacket.
A better place to have put the jacket was to put it on the chair, this way when they returned from the restroom, it would have still more than likely been there. WOW!
I know jackets are replaceable, just something I noticed when watching the vid. WOW! Hope she gets the help she needs!
She has so much energy. If she was able to manage her mental health, she could have productive life.
Law enforcement has a tough job dealing with society's sad problems.
Wow....the police and all involved do a great job.
❤🙏
On who's dime? Struggling parents?
@jrxpp exactly. Her life is miserable because she's made it that way.
Kicking ppl, calling them horrible names.
She deserves her fate and l feel not a scintilla of pity for her.
Here in Florida she would have had her azz hauled away to jail and after behaving like that all that junk she owns would go in the trash. The jail isn't going to keep a bunch of dirty clothes mixed in with trash.
My mother is 70 and still works full time.
Look at all the ppl standing around getting paid 40$ plus an hr doing nothing for one person. A tremendous waste of taxpayers money
You are awesome! Thanks for your insight.
WPforever, thank you for your kindness.
Wow, she's pleasant! How sad for people with mental illness. What little she has it still means the world to her.
God bless all of you and her as well! 💔🙏🏻
God hasn’t done much for her
She is digging her own grave by being abusive
Thank you for your efforts
If they take her to jail they will have to deal with a crazy lady 24/7 she needs a mental hospital
We all say this will never happen to us. just remember you are one paycheck away

In the late 80s I was in California and there was an elderly woman on the sidewalk stinking with maggots in her hair. I could not get anyone to help her. It is sickening that they let mentally ill and elderly rot on the sidewalks and on the beaches.
Some people you can never help. They don't want any help.
It's not that they don't want help there mental illness stops yhem
waste of taspayers money...So many ppl there for one woman...
newsom got $$$ billions to help these people and its now in his bank account... how did that happen....
Because he and his supermajority are corrupt criminals.

I would not want to be one of those Officers having to deal with her
Just don't think about it. You have other choices to be what you want. You could be a doctor, a lawyer, a Lakers, just don't let me hear you say police again
YOU CAN NOT HAVE HER ON THE STREET
A DANGER TO ALL😮
It's very important that professionals workers are placed to deal with the homeless population.
😂
Being a night shelter manager in the past, I feel for the mentally ill people. But I also feel for those dealing with the mentally ill in the shelters. Let me tell you, it is not easy. And can be quite stressful and dangerous at times.
To the fire department EMTs "tag You're it!"🤣
I mean honestly, I'd want her away from my presence ASAP too, lol
This whole scene is just horrendous. This is what happens when state mental institutions are closed nationwide. It's plain sad for everyone 😢
Anyone else have a sore throat after listening to this hell hole?
Newsome should have to be out there with the police and see how his neglectful attitude is helping the situation.
This poor woman needs mental health services. She's a mess and my heart goes out to her. I hope she can get the help she deserves.
I am so glad I learned the Law of the Club early. These people have no clue. Hitting a cop? Are you serious?
The advocates and enablers created this situation.

@@RitaRiley-w4d Sleepy Joe Biden could have used the money he sent to Ukraine to help this woman but he gave it to his pals in the Military Industrial Complex!
This homeless woman is a pain in the azz.
Yeah. I would hate to deal with her every day.
Im glad they saved her belongings. My heart breaks 4 her.
This is so sad, a great country like America cannot help people like her, she needs mental health care.
She would make a great Walmart greeter.
No way could you ignore her
Thanks Raygoon
It's hard to feel sorry for a racists homeless person
How do you know she is racist? I think she is, mentally ill. She calls everyone bad names, I believe to try and make everyone understand how mad at the world she is. She could have been hurt very badly and this is her defense system too.
She needs help, not to be judged.

Psychiatric Crisis in this country. Need in patient capabilities.
Mental Health is no joke.People can blame this unfortunate woman for all her troubles but mental health untreated can be very dangerous.I have family members who struggle with mental health issues.A few have been in situations to where they were assaulted for talking out of turn to people.People do not realize these folks are very ill.So they react accordingly.I pray this woman gets the help she needs and I will pray for her because she really needs peace and carers in her life to look after her.
Why don’t they take her to the funny farm and medicate her, she needs help.
Because you can't force someone to "the funny farm".
@@mikeberg5003Least restrictive environment strikes again. Thank you Reagan. We legislated responsibility away from the State, and people who need help have nothing. Trickle down economics never workef.

Mental help is needed.
You won't see this here in the Ozark Mountains. We don't tolerate rude behavior.
The difference is, the winter will take care of people that insane. The mild weather allows all of these people to collect and fester.
Instead of arresting this lady they should help her rehabilitated God bless her and give her a better healthier life 💙🙏
My question is, do we need this many people to arrest her or get her to a mental institution?
With ca laws, yes.
