Too bad it’s all for nothing, they just set right back up right afterwards
You're correct. It's all for nothing. They come right back and set up again. Total waste of time and money. No wonder Slumifornia is bankrupt

Watching things get clean is very satisfying. The sense of satisfaction is huge. I’ve been cleaning up after myself for decades. There’s something about cleaning up! Great videos. I’m hooked.
To all those thinking this is cruel, you’re not the one who owns a home in this area and have to deal with this problem everyday.
Which one has the biggest problem, the one who has a home or the one who got no home?
@Roberto Souza I've been a homeless addict before. I'll be the first to tell you that 75% of these people just don't wanna do what they have to do which is get clean and better themselves.
I'm living in Africa and home invasion is the order of the day.Being elderly I pay to have small chores done .Biggest mistake.Once these MF congregate amongst themselves and gossip what's in your property ,you life will be in danger. Their plan is to make your home their for free. The mastermind is always scouting for soft targets, this person is well to do with business.
Yes I feel sorry for the home owners who’ve spend good money to live there and then have to deal with this is insane..Sure they don’t pay taxes for ppl to sleep at their front door
Oh you are right.
Public places are not camp sites and all the trash and disrespect this crowd spreads.
This trash camping needs to stop, nationwide.
Only thing that really baffles me is the hoarding like how are you hoarding with no primary residence?

""""It's Called Going Without For So Long, If You Can Make A Shape Of A Dove Out Of A White Dinner Napkin - It Becomes A Sentimental Piece Of Owning To You""""
It's just something to do to occupy their time and mind. Having or not having primary residence makes no difference on people's unchanged habits.

If I was homeless I'd practice minimalism.
I think that is what homeless normally do.. but the pandemic had created a very difficult situation that was abnormal and made survival for homeless much more difficult. resources that would normally be available were not available.. and that includes for the housed as well.. but the housed had a home for refuge. For example of many many examples.. gyms shut down.. banks closed their doors to access by customers. restaurants shut down.. and for 2 plus years we didn't know when or how things would shift .. would things get worse or better and how?? there were frigtened people on the streets.. public transit shut down.. and civil servants were afraid.. and they denied service to the public.. they discriminated and could get away with it because there was no one to stop them.. and people lost their homes because landlords could get away with it.. landlords could harrass and discriminate and unlawfully do things to get tenants out and make them fearful for their safety so they would leave. where we are at now.. hopefully, is that the pandemic is behind us.. and we are like in the post 1994 earthquake (except this pandemic earthquake has been going on for 3 plus years) and we are trying to recover as a society/community. I hope the police get the emotional support they need to along with their crews of social services staff while working with thos injured during this pandemic and trying to clean up the city.
You are also not mentally ill, so have better handle on what is a sustainable business model than average homeless drug addict.

I live in the city of Hawthorne and there's a small park adjacent to the Hawthorne Senior center on the north side of El Segundo Blvd, east of Prairie Avenue- about 6 month ago, a group of homeless IDIOTS decided to pitch up their tents at the same time that employees of the Senior center started reporting some vehicle break ins- The Hawthorne police dept IMMEDIATELY ran them off, they posted signs saying that the property was NOT a sanctuary for the homeless and anyone caught residing there would be arrested and prosecuted for TRESPASSING-
and NOW the city has passed a law that makes it illegal to park a motorhome on privately owned property- THIS is how u handle the homeless crisis- KUDOS to the city of Hawthorne and their police department
I know where that park is as I worked for Northrop back in the day. I’m glad the Hawthorn has taken a no nonsense approach to this issue.
@@flyerbob124 and the Hawthorne PD have also stepped up their game as well - I used to live in El Segundo and when I first moved there, I heard their police department had a reputation -?? Not really- I actually had a conversation with one of their deputies and he described it by asking me to define the phrase "bad neighborhood" - he said the city earns that reputation because the police department and the city officials aren't doing their jobs - I've nicknamed the Hawthorne pd calling them the RAT PATROL which was one of my favorite TV shows - I'm so glad to see all those extra SpaceX tax dollars being put to good use-

I'm from the East Coast. Philadelphia to be exact. We have a huge homeless problem as well as taking very large drug problem. Most of our homeless are in one area Kensington and some other scattered sites throughout the city. I myself had problems finding housing that was either affordable or close to work and or in a decent neighborhood. None of these three criteria were met so I'll end up buying a RV. I'm parked next to a public park out-of-the-way and taking up no space nor anyone's parking spot. I'm discreet and quiet and I don't make a mess I go to work everyday. I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been chased a few times before I found this spot and the police officers in this video get the gold star for their behavior and patience. I've been chased by police and had a sergeant make me cry because I couldn't get out of this place I was in and the neighbors would just complete a-holes. Anyway I digress. I don't understand how all of this trash has accumulated and the point of Gathering somebody possessions when you have nowhere to put them. I've been living like this since the end of April of last year. The Winter's been mild so I am lucky. I hope things get better for everyone.

@Albo alt absolutely nothing available in any part of the city. I'm in my fifties so having roommates is not on my my list of options haven't had done that enough times to regret it. Someone always wind-up carrying the weight of the others. I keep looking and there really is nothing in the areas of the city that I would like to reside. Also I have to factor in my lack of vehicle. I can't spend paychecks worth of money just in travel. Anyway I am going to get corrective surgery for my cataracts pretty soon and I'll be able to drive this behemoth. But until then it makes no sense right now since I outright own this thing to have to go and pay rent or a mortgage. I got property on wheels. I've become accustomed to scaled-down living and I actually enjoy it now. I'm close to work and I get along with The Neighbors I am clean and neat I don't party I don't make noise and I put my trash out on trash day. So far so good.
@@keytimebill1478 moving was the problem. I was living with housemates and they got sick of the city so decided to take advantage of the housing market being a seller's market. So I can't blame them. I had a year-and-a-half to look and look I did. I live in Philadelphia which is a crap hole run by ignorant morons who failed special education class. There were no available residences literally no residences. The neighborhood in which I was residing at the time in my search with three different realtors and my online searches I found one property and it was a house for sale a small bungalow if you will a 2-bedroom house that was probably between 900 and 1000 square feet the asking price was $ $400,000. That wasn't going to happen. As for rentals there was nothing available. Some places in North Philly that will roach-infested and crime-ridden and I lack the melanin to fit in. My only option was to buy the RV. I've become adapted to small living and I've come to enjoy it. Like I said I don't make noise, I don't make a mess, I'm cordial to the neighbors and I put my trash out on trash day. They see me go to work everyday and they see me come home like a normal person. So far it's been cool. I do elder care and I do hospice work, the woman I currently care for is 96 and has dementia. Her family's has her money by power of attorney and I know for a fact they will not put her in a care facility because that would eat up her money. So I've got job security. She'll probably live maybe another two years and in the meantime I plan on saving all the money I would use for rent and for a mortgage as well as utilities. This will give me the ability to be truly independent financially. So it's kind of a win-win. I'll move when the next job comes to
Hope they get better for you to

TELL OUR POLITICIANS THAT!
Moral hazard. Provide FREE EVERYTHING, the more they come. Just keep paying for them, better work harder!
f that there problem is not my problem now lets go back 10 years of there life im gonna assume spending 10 a day at starbucks, paying rent for years and never gonna own a house, drugs, brand name clothes, its there own fault where you end up in life is your own problems, and why dont you give all the homeless people free rent at your house if you gonna do something about i bet no so words dont mean anything unless you do something about now go do something about it
@@thavonephanthavongsa4962 agree but that which you describe is not the majority of these folks just a bunch of burnt out tweakers and alcoholic fks..
about time !! my grandfather built most of the houses and our family home on ameroso pl off lincoln blvd over 100 yrs ago!
was a awesome place to grow up
I don't understand why the City of Venice doesn't just pass a city ordinance that prohibits camping within the city limits. I was a Police Officer in Florida for 25 years and the city I worked for had just that ordinance. No camping either in a tent or trailer, nothing, 11pm to 6am 7 days a week. Solves the problem. Yes you are moving them but allowing this is creating a much larger hazard and should be dealt with. Unbelievable they come in and I guess Clorox the place and they all go back.
venice is part of LA. you can limit certain things but legally its hard to have a total ban.
@@GUITARTIME2024 true even being a part of LA is big. It could be a city ordinance but police would have to arrest every violator and that seems a hill too far. I was a Police Officer for 25 years in Key West and it is only 4 miles by 6 miles across. But huge ban on camping of any kind. Even the random big RV trying to stay overnight in a parking lot. Nope they had to go over the bridge to Stock Island. I worked night shift and it was a pain but I get why the City did it. Small place and if you let anyone do it the place would be over run. But it is still horrible to see Venice Beach like that. Unfair to the business owners and workers have to deal with that. I would never live anywhere that a homeless problem like that but that's just me.
They might have such ordinance already, but not being enforced.
they have an ordinance. but LA county has not done anything substantial to address homelessness or affordable housing and the problem only gets worse year after year.
@@pickinforalivin i feel sorry for property owners as they can never sell their homes. who would buy in that mess? LA county has really dropped the ball.
Instead of fixing the problem they just move them from side walk to side walk. Act like they are doing something.
Does anyone feel like me that this is so outrageous? That people can just the face a city like this? I grew up in Santa Monica, which is next to Venice.
It was never ever like this.
We need a better solution by taking their garbage and put it in another corner is not solving the problem
What gets me is notices are posted in advance of the cleanup yet there are always people who wait till the last minute to pack up and leave the area.
They don't have to be so messy about it. If you have to live there, at least try to keep the area clean and your belongings to a minimum.
I applaud our police as they do their job. Thank you!
POLITIC POLITIC !!!! To see homeless living on the street.
Woe. Just WOW!!!
Took my family on a 48 state trip back in 2020 and couldn't believe how nasty some of these cities are. California was the worst. You can't even enjoy the cities for the homeless. Passed out on the sidewalks, puking, doing drugs right in front of everyone, pissing right on the sidewalks or sides of buildings. Tents as far as you can see. While staying at a hotel in Kansas City, MO I got up early and went for a walk and outside there was a man in a hospital gown walking up the sidewalk busting out the windows of every car. I called the police and when they arrived I had to show them where the guy was, he was passed out right by a car he had vandalized and they just ignored him. They were literally 10 feet from him pretending to be looking. Then told me if they arrested him he'd just be right back out.
I understand people have misfortune but most of these people don't want to be productive citizens, they are drug addicts and alcoholics. You can't even eat out in public in most places for them coming up while eating wanting cash. Almost every gas station I got out at to refuel I got approached by people wanting money. The Gov should create a work farm for these people and round them up and make them earn their keep, pay them a wage, provide onsite housing and they could sell the food they grow to sustain the farm. This would be the leg up for those really wanting a new start to life. But the reality is most of these people are just trash and don't want help, they only want cash for their next high. There's a reason they are homeless and most are because they have already burned through their family and friends because their habit was more important than being productive.
That sucks, I'd do anything to live in the States and use my experience to work and be productive, but I'm stuck in Canada.
Super sad on many levels💔😡🙏
This is the city, free walk and ride not for slipping or relax on the streets????
They have to respect people pay taxes to live on property all clean!!!
wonder where the bathrooms are, and what is the guy in the full hazmat suit there for.
What do the businesses say about all the tents surrounding the areas?
They are completely furious of course. Some states have even sued their local councils, for a refund of their council taxes. Brcuse the homeless tents NIT only create an enormous amount of filth but they shoot up deficate , harrass their customer and the business owners. But they steal from them as well. One business owner has had some junkies throwing his own shit at him. But it's not just business owners vthey completely right in front of luxury apartments!!!
libtards don't care about that shhtt
They were definitely very patient with the african american man. He was the one they let stay the longest, I was watching when he was in the background. They explained the time limit and he said "well i wont move let the chips fall where they may."
Pleasantly surprised by their patience - as a european all we know are horror stories in regards to the homeless - whether it's between themselves, or from the law.
Did anyone ask were you European? Still human, no superiority complex please.
Looks like a great concept in CA. Let the homeless litter and leave there camps to be cleaned up by ethical working class people on tax payers dollars. Totally makes sense. And then toss it all in the landfill. How to make for a greener CA. Government Nitwit Newsom and his colleges keeping that perpetual wheel spinning.
You give billions for war to foreign countries that destroy environments and infrastructure you two faced idiot.
The way they squirrel stuff on the sidewalk!
We are worried China ,Taiwan ,Ukraine
We have to take care Homeless people at home
Change is never easy.
They can really move when they are getting the boot
14:40 where can I get a trash can with a flat scoop like the black one the sanitation worker is carrying?
This is the true problem with the homeless. It’s not as much of the tents. It’s the trash and makeshift shelters blocking the sidewalks and streets. It’s the unsanitary conditions. Nobody wants to see people suffering on the streets, but just because you have drug and alcohol issues, does not give you the right to take over public property.
The government should relocate them to a tiny house campground.
A lot of people in the U.S choose to live this way,no excuses..!
17:23 When you search the trash can in Fallout for supplies
Drug abuse is a career in a homeless lifestyle!!!
Ya and I don’t want to support it.
@@JSUN19 Democrat policies never let a crisis go to waste!!
Were do the tents come from.
So each week they root them out of one block wherein they move on and set up on the next one?
Yup!
Her keys? Her keys to what? The Tahoe parked around the corner?
The red shirt guy and his girl neighbor stayed for the drama. "Victim banter" with the authorities is the language they know. It's the skill they've refined.
What's ironic about insisting on victimhood is that you NEVER win, because, after all..., you are the victim.
💯. Red t-shirt guy had plenty of time to grab his blanket and meds.
And 20 minutes after the Police roll out they are right back in that exact same spot !
Sad because a lot of times these guys don’t make it to outreach programs or get the hell they need and just end up relocating at a new area
so the county supplies tents?
Solution - LOCK THEM BE UP ! 😠🇺🇸💀
Lock them up for being poor?!
Its about time!
I wish this would happened to Portland Oregon. USA
So once they move their junk from one spot, where do they go from there? Move to another block?
The patients these cops have is unbelievable jobs no one wants to do
This is just disgusting. Stricter penalty for illegal settlers must be enforced without exception. A program should also be in place to prevent this from recurring.
that's the solution...criminalize homelessness...let's not actually tackle the problem, you know...
They don’t want and refuse to be assisted by a program! It is their problem, not mine.
Damn people can't walk on the side Walk.
what kind of time did they have to move ? 10 minutes ?
