😂 I agree
"Notably, no citations for public camping violations were issued during the operation, reflecting the city's emphasis on supportive measures over punitive actions."
........Which would explain why they have to keep going back once a week.....
Criminalizing homelessness is not a winning strategy.
@@scottcharney1091 A law was passed in California 174 years ago. It's called a vagrancy law. Means you can't just camp anywhere you want to. The criminalizing happened 174 years ago when that law passed. The fact the city thinks it's a bad idea now to uphold it and allow people to spit on that law has not been a winning strategy either. Especially given the fact these are where the fentynal and meth camps are along with stolen vehicles, dirty needles and desecrated land wrought with feces and garbage all caused by the homeless. But I guess you don't think there should be any consequence for such actions. Whatever.
@@bobbalcom2658 I'm just saying that locking people up for being homeless (because there's no use in saddling them with fines that they can't pay) isn't going to help.
@@bobbalcom2658lol Kamala Harris helped create this mess.
She's going to win 😊
I expected the cops to take a knee for the homeless guy . Since there all about kissing their a$$ .
No, they aren’t. They are attempting to show a minimal amount of compassion while doing their job.
Dude had a "How To Mind Your Own Business" first edition 😂
I have no problem with people being homeless. I do have a problem when hobos turn a very public spot into their home. Go live in the woods
These aren't hobos - hobos were itinerant workers. They would travel from place to place and offer to work in exchange for food/shelter or small amounts of money. These are bums. Just shiftless, lazy, layabout bums.....
No camping allowed! 👮
They need to bus them out to the Salten Sea to a place called “Slab City” where there aren’t any rules!
Good idea, that place needs some experienced politicians & social structure.
Just lock the toliets at night
Great idea.
Hate crime. Cause people will say the cops are evil for doing their jobs. When the person complaining does not help at all and only complains.
When does it ever end
Right, I don’t think it ever will😢
When greed ends
Im 64 on the 6th and i never, ever thought we'd witness these times. Its heartbreaking and so upsetting to see how the devil has used people to ruin everything. These police and rangers are dealing with to much and need pay raises.
Verlindaallen je to smutné, keď človek padne na samé dno.U nás sú tiež bezdomovci, ale nie toľko ako v Amerike!Máme útulky, kde sa môže bezdomovec umyť a spať. Nesmie ale požívať alkohol! Amerika 😱👎👎👎👎
That book tho 😂
you couldn't pay me to vacation here --- who in their right mind goes here ?!
Sight-seers, to see for themselves?
They should have homeless shows for visitors.
And yet tonight they will leave them unlocked and unguarded so the same people can move right back in.
Yeah. It’s a cycle of stupidity. As long as these vagrants comply with the police officers’ commands pack up and get out, they can return to the same locations as soon as the cops leave. These cops see the same people day-after-day in the same spots. Unfortunately, California residents keep voting for politicians who allow filth to accumulate in public spaces.
This video sums up why you should stay in school and not do drugs.
Beautiful weather, palm trees and beaches. It's too bad the homeless has to get in the way.
Yes, people experiencing homelessness in California are eligible for CalFresh benefits, also known as food stamps, which are issued through Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards. In fact, homeless people are more likely to be eligible for CalFresh
Remove the doors. Problem solved.
Its what they do in France and Holland
That's nasty lol@@brittoverbaugh4035
I saw that at long Beach lol, humiliating, California is freaking crazy, going to the bathroom like a prisoner in jail, what a lazy ass solution to the homeless problem, the cheapest one by the way at the expense of the tax payers who now have to wait to get home to use the bathroom, do you normally leave the door open for everyone at your house to see when using the bathroom? LOL of course not, but Gavin Newsom thinks it's progressive. 🤣🙄
They would put up a blanket and still be in there
Stall doors are fine
Why do people think they can just live at a beach! People who go to the beach just want to go relax and go home.
That looks like desperation..
Never once in my life have i ever seen this kind of CRAZINESS.. AND ALL THE STUFF HE HAS IN THERE...😂😂😂
use a friggin hose and wash down those stalls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steam cleaning wouldn't even be enough!
Firehose
Power wash w/ bleach
These officers deserve a pay raise and stronger hand sanitizer.
And the janitors
CLEARLY CITY NEEDS TO PAY AN ATTENT TO MAKE SURE NOBODY MOVES INTO THE RESTROOMS!!! SAD TRULY!!!
The homeless guy casually exits carrying a baseball bat on his way to little league practice. Seems legit. 😂
To all the commenters referencing mental health... do not confuse mental health with drug abuse.
Yes,yes,
Well unfortunately mental health is a side effect of drug use.
It's like type 2 diabetes. It's a self inflicted disease
I am English and I still have fond memories of my first visit to the USA in 1978. Part of my holiday was four days in Santa Monica, and I remember it being a lovely city. Reading the comments it seems in the space of forty four years to have turned into an extremely unpleasant place. I suppose there are several theories as to why, but it’s a real shame nevertheless.
It was pretty lovely the yr I was there in 85. I feel lucky to have experienced it
It’s from years of Liberal policies. They’ve literally upended common sense and decency. I left SoCal 30 years ago and seeing what it’s become I made the best decision ever. I still go back every few years to visit my brother and it reinforces my feelings of why I left in the first place.
The guy on the "Clean Team" painting over the hideous graffiti is my new hero.
Great photography Fabian.
Sad and depressing photography lol. Not very inspiring, CA is a mess.
Just have speakers in the roofs of that bathroom complexes that blair sirens and play baby shark songs full blast when ever they want people out of the bathrooms, problem solved
This situation of the man residing in the bathroom shows some mental disabilities in the way he was gesturing each of his movements.. The mental health of so many homeless will be addressed in the next administration more than it’s ever been before… May not happen immediately but it will happen..
You cannot address the mental health issue if the person won't address their drug addiction
bet it took the guy 1 minute to move into the restroom, but takes him a half hour to leave
Lots of these homeless appear to have cell phones...
The government is still giving them out.
@@biblemademedoit - didn't know. Thanks.
They're called Obama phones
They should not be here...period! Broke the law, get em outta here!
He wants people to mind their own business while living in and taking up public space as if it's his property. Dude is delusional.
I can’t believe I saw this scrolling just now..I must have just missed this happening. I was there on Saturday and kicked on that very same door.
So sad we can’t have clean restrooms
This is weekly because it's all "cleaned up" and the junkies and drum circles just form again immediately. There is no effort to get rid of the druggie campers.
So much empathy and compassion for their fellow human beings in these posts. I hope none of you have to be homeless in the future.
Compassion for fellow humans that can take the help that is provided but don't want it because there's rules give me a break. GOD grant me The SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change COURAGE to change the things I can and WISDOM to know the difference. Just because someone is homeless doesn't give them the right to literally crap on everything they touch. They are not intitled to anything they have to want help.
I've been homeless in the past,I don't recall it being much fun, that's why I have empathy for the homeless, walk a mile in their shoes, there is no easy solution for this problem. A lot of mental illness and drug addiction everywhere. I wonder if this is one of the consequences of late stage terminal capitalism, all the money flows to only a few players and like Monopoly,in the end only one player.
Oh BS! No excuse for being a cretin and allowed to become a public nuisance. It’s a societal disease that politicians are sweeping under the rug. It’s not ok. The homeless need to be treated against their will. It’s disgusting. Who in their right mind would expose a child to this?
Oh, and you have been, right?
Why are the park rangers not wearing gloves? Even with gloves I personally would not feel safe touching the doors
Why would you put your phone in your underware????
The contrast that this is like one of your best problems on your problem scale list LOL. This people are mental and live outside, you ain't dealing with the average here, so it's what it's here.
He sleeps in a public bathroom and washed his clothes in a public toilet. And the phone in the underwear is what stood out as strange to you ?
@@DerekWill-p1b Are you positive that he does his laundry in the toilet? All of it is strange!
@@lcfflc3887 I have been watching for while now. Yes, some are not all there. I don't believe that he is deaf either!

The guy in the skirt sounds like a lawyer.
Did he say his name was Katy Perry?
From the idiocracy movie.
Wow, looks like he moved right into that toilet
Newsom must be so proud of the shit hole he created, and got taxpayers to pay for. You Californians are genius.
Not Newsomes fault, these are mostly uneducated, un- potty trained out of state people from Red States, coming out here for some California dreaming and free food..We Native Californians are outnumbered 100 to 1 these days, and we know where to sleep & how to use the toilet.
First step, ban urban camping. Possible jail time is very effective at getting rid of the homeless.
Bro.... You're talking about California.
Resources expended over homeless overwhelming our country
SIR YOU CANT DIE ON THE BEACH KEEP IT MOVING
If they just try to get a job, instead of taking drugs and cowering in bathrooms, they'd be a little bit off. They got strong looking bodies!
Would you hire a guy that lives in a bathroom?
@@susanswarts1407Where do you think Nusome came from?
Five minutes he's back in the toilet
Wait until the Olympics come that place going to look clean as a whistle

"How to Mind Your Own Business." Perfect!
perfect in a BIZARRE WORLD..
Maybe he should read the book "public bathrooms are not your home" and the New York Times best seller "Toilets are not for washing your clothes ".
So what, then ? All homeless people should be in jail? Some peoples' wages just aren't enough to pay rent in Los Angeles Not hard to have happen when the lowest rent is $2,000 or more a month.
