I absolutely LOVE this physical size and aspect ratio, but it’s completely ruined with that pathetically low PPI resolution! I really hope that this early gen of 43.4” 32:10 monitors get phased out in favor of 5120x1600 options, the way that early ultrawide 2560x1080 monitors were replaced with more economical 3440x1440 options.
That is so cool that it arrive with additional webcam! This could be an advantage to the games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk 2077, GTA V, Metro Exodus, Call of Duty and more. Were games that are enjoyable to play with massive wide screen base on my opinion. I like this monitor but my desk don't like it. HAHAHAHAHA! Very detail and informative as always! Im not sure about this superUwide Displays, i use since 2018 AOC Ag352ucg6 (120hz), and next display maybe 38" 3840x1600. But im only gaming and for now im satisfied with my aoc.
In the attempt to deliver a product that can serve all, there are too many balls being dropped here. But I do like the concept. I'd pay double the price if they would offer something less compromising in all fields, and then more with the real estate of the Philips 499P9H, which has 5120x1440 pixels to push.
Have you actually tried to use it? I tried two laptops and both don't work with this monitor. Can you tell me one laptop that will actually work with this monitor? It is not true that any laptop with USB C will work, I know from experience. Please tell me any laptop that you actually hooked up yourself and that works, not what you read in the specs. it is very hard to find one that works. I would appreciate it!

That's exactly 2 1920x1200 monitors. I can imagine a monster Excel sheet running all the way across. This would be great with Surface Pros, the tablet can be placed in front of the user for pen input with the monitor at eye level.

To see that many usb and other inputs, i believe you can use it as a double monitor. One side on laptop, one side for PC. BTW Linius Teck Tips will use a high speed camera (1000 fps) to check response time, since you were searching for a way to test those things, they will feature it soon
You can use it as a double monitor as well, I should have talked about that more I think. Actually I have been using a high speed camera to support my own experience when it comes to response times. It's actually interesting, but working on another solution for future reviews (hopefully by the end of this year).
Is the frame actually brushed aluminium or is it plastic made to look like that? Either way it looks great, although for excel and other office applications I would prefer a bit moar height (3840x1600).
I'm very curious to know what kind of buyers this monitor is targeting. Just what kind of programs are you running that you will need such a monitor? You will need to sit 6 feet away to really appreciate the full view and resolution.
It's surprisingly nice to multi task, but I like I said it sort of falls in between a ton of alternative options. The 434p9h buyer really should want a large horizontal space, a Webcam and a USB hub for it to make sense (and no space for the 49"?)
I’m a music creator and so a monitor like this would be prefect for my productivity as I currently use two monitors, one displaying my edit window and another displaying my mix window. I use mainly Avid ProTools and Logic Pro x. I would imagine video editors working on large timelines would also benefit from a monitor of this size

The 352UCG6 was one of the best ultrawides then. Still great, but newer options have improved some things. I'll have an LG 38GN950 review soon! ;)
