You can pull out the USB A to use the cable as USB C to USB C. It took me a couple of days to figure that out myself.
I dont like the monitor "buttons" that Philips are using. Unresponsive touch surfaces, with dark grey markings on a matte black surface, close together. Very fiddly and always a pain to navigate. On my last monitor I had to cut white electric tape into symbols and put above each to make it more clear. Even then, the actual tapping failed to register about 50% of the time.
Is it good for gaming
Just picked one up for about $310 on Amazon.. will do programming mainly on it. Can't wait to use it.

HI! Very nice video. I looked at the Dell S3423DWC as it has USB-C PD, KVM and PIP. BUt I'm not sure it will work with both a MacBook Pro 2019 & Windows Copmuter. Would the Philips work well in theis setup? Thanks in advance.
Normally you would connect the MacBook via USB-C and the computer via HDMI or Display Port.
I haven’t tested the PiP for this Philips Monitor, I suggest you head over to the manufactures website, normally that’s described in the manual.

Is this Vesa compatible?
If I recall correctly you need a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm) and the monitor should weigh around 8kg or 17lb.
Keep in mind this monitor uses a VA-Panel (Vertical Alignment) and some people may prefer IPS (In-Plane-Switching) for even better color and viewing angles.
To connect a laptop via USB-C the computer MUST support Display Port via USB-C video output.
The cable provided allows you to use usbc or usba
Please look it up yourself, I used an Apple Thunderbolt cable for connecting my MacBook.
Most other monitors have a USB-C to USB-C cable included.
Never talked about the network connection
Most people use this monitor as docking station, it’s for people who have RJ45 network cable at their desk.
So perfect for offices, business, coworking spaces, where people come in with their notebooks.

The Lenovo P34W-20 has a better IPS-Panel while the Philips only has a VA-Panel.

@@karambazielona I have bought T34W-20 Lenovo ultra wide its pretty good one but only issue is PIP and other features are not present but it has USB-C
