I had all PotC sets from 2011 (except the black pearl) but sold them all two years ago. I kinda regret that.. 😅 Since there will be a new pirates movie in the upcoming years they will likely reboot the theme by making new sets based on the original movies like they did with Harry Potter, when Fantastic Beasts released in 2018. I really hope so because i love the movies and those new minifigs look incredible!! 🤩
There have been no molds for characters that already exist in Lego Fortnite … unfortunately this is just from the Fortnite design team and not Lego and doesn’t mean a thing (look at TMNT, and a bunch of other themes)

I’ve only gotten into the PotC series lately, so I missed out on the sets (and they’re now crazy expensive). I’m praying that this Fortnite event is teasing a new line of sets. You can see an obvious improvements in the figures (although I think Barbossa’s old face looks better), and I doubt they’d go that far just for a game. Maybe this time we’ll get figures of Pintel and Ragetti, who somehow didn’t get them originally.
My favorites (LEGO styles, not the skins) 1. Captain Barbossa 2. Jack Sparrow 3. Davy Jones (looks a bit off, idk why) 4. Elizabeth Swann 5. Cursed Jack Sparrow (looks too cartoony, which I guess makes sense but still)

My biggest regret in life is never getting any of those sets. Always picked some Star Wars or Harry Potter ones over them when my mum made me choose. But I looked at those sets constantly. They were so cool. The game was amazing as well

My main complaint about the Elizabeth minifig is that the shoulder belt has a misprint I think, the bottom part of it is red like her vest underneath instead of brown like the rest of the belt.

New fortnite figures are neat and all but this is a clickbaity video, nothing in that game in any way relates to or confirms that new actual sets are coming. There are hundreds of minifigs in there including many from crossover IPs that have not been made as actual minifigures or have an updated look from their old versions

My main complaint about the Elizabeth minifig is that the shoulder belt has a misprint I think, the bottom part of it is red like her vest underneath instead of brown like the rest of the belt.

yeah we aint getting new sets unless new movies come to make it relevant again. just putting them in fortnite doesn’t mean anything. i think the best we can realistically hope for a fortnite cmf series that includes pirates of the Caribbean characters

Lego has this stupid business model where they only make sets if something is relevant in TV, Movies, or Video games despite fan outcry. reason Harry Potter got rebooted was the cursed child play and later Hogwarts Legacy/ news of a new series. and DC despite having 80+ years of comics they could base sets on keeps getting fisted because Warner Bros have no idea wtf they want to do with DC and their Characters.
(shit, part of me thinks the only reason we got a BTAS set was because Kevin Conroy & Arleen Sorkin passed away and they ran out of ideas)
also this isn't to say "grr I hated the video and your wrong" It's to say based on their history it's unlikely but when i see titles like yours I get stupid excited because it's rare they make sets for no reason with an IP.

New fortnite figures are neat and all but this is a clickbaity video, nothing in that game in any way relates to or confirms that new actual sets are coming. There are hundreds of minifigs in there including many from crossover IPs that have not been made as actual minifigures or have an updated look from their old versions
@@WordsOfTheTeacher how is it clickbaity when this is the first time we are seeing anything LEGO pirates of the Caribbean related for the first time in seven years. In that sense LEGO pirates of the Caribbean is back. As of now, not in sets. My goal with this video was to convey my hopefulness when it comes to LEGO making more potc sets :)
