If it's not a food they are used to it will take them time to try it. Try cutting Into smaller pieces and spread out instead of making a pile! Good luck!! Nice video!!
My cat loved this video. He was very attentive when he saw the raccoon and bunny. I wonder what happened to the one young deer’s ear that looked partially chewed off ?
It's interesting that so few animals show little interest in the apples. Leads me to wonder where you bought them and what type of apple they are. Supermarket apples are coated in wax. Also there are varieties that even farm animals don't like such as honey crisp. One farmer told me even his pigs won't touch them.
Wonder if you bought old tasteless apples. They never smell good. Did you wash the spray off them. Some spray is repellent to animals. So they don’t strip the trees before the fruit can be picked.
I live in a county that is half apple orchards ,,I can pour out three hundred pounds of apples in my yard and by three am ,,,there is nothing left ,,these deer eat apples first before anything else other than white oak acorns.
@ I’ve have fed animals and ran many cameras for many years and the first lesson I learned about deer was ,,they don’t appreciate something new added to their area ,,they vacate an area with new or uncommon smells ,,but after they get used to it they will readily indulge in a new treat ,,candy corn ,,,the Halloween candy ,,,they absolutely love ,,honey locust pods is another treat in winter ,,and green honey suckle is another that could be picked and moved to a camera location
What other types of treats would you like to see left in the woods?

They want them cored
That's a really insightful observation! It's something I hadn't considered before. Thanks

Could be several reasons why they were cautious at first. After a few days they ate them all in one night. Thanks for watching.

it's interesting to see what wildlife is nearby, and how they react to different foods. I was surprised about the fox grabbing half an apple.
@ there are many greys and reds where I live and they eat corn and apples very quickly

Yes and coyotes also eat apples in the fall
What did the fox have in it's mouth before getting the apples?
I'm not sure, maybe a rat or mouse? What do you think?
