I have 2 bird feeders in my backyard that are filled with peanuts in the shells. The jays love them. I've set out shelled peanuts, but they dont take them. I go through 10 lbs per month. We live in the suburbs dont have any other wild animals except for an occasional squirrel, and we have hawks that grab the mourning doves feeding in the backyard. Wish I had an area like this so I could do what you do.
We call the curious youngster with the cropped ear, Holyfield.

The camera is only about 100 feet from my house. Luckily we have some wooded areas of our property.
Holyfield! 🤣 🤣
What part of the country are you in. Looks pretty much like the Nort East where I am at. We had warm weather about then also.
Southeast Kansas
