Im 19 and about 6'4. My final predicted height is 6'6 or 6'7. You're 6'2 and want to be taller? You can easily dunk at 6'2 if you get on some kind of vertical training program. I know some tall people that can't touch rim. 6'2 is like the perfect height tall enough to be tall but not tall enough where things start becoming a annoyance in your daily life.

@@footballfan283 the guy you're talking about seemed to be an early bloomer. Early bloomers grow tall super fast and are really tall for their age but end up being normal height. They basically stop growing at 14-16 since they start puberty at like 11-12. Late bloomers start puberty around 14-19 and may seem short but will eventually grow to be normal or above average height since they stop growing at 18-25.
The thing about these videos is no one cares about grandparents heights. If you have 5‘6 parents but your grandparents are 6‘0 its probably because your parents did not have enough food back in their time but still have the genetics from your grandparents which allows you to be a lot taller than you malnourished parents if you get enough food which most people do these days

I wish I was tall as you but when I was younger I was small and little, I’ve always dreamed of being 6ft 2inches but right now as I speak, Im 19 and I stand at the height of 5,7 which is something I am ashamed of every day as I tell myself it’s my fault. Most of the people who I know in my family is taller which does make me feel so small and disappointed with myself.

I’m only watching this video because of my Families height. My dad when he was younger was 6’9 and my mom was 5’11. I’m the 2nd oldest in my family and my mom and dad had about 6 kids in total. (Just one girl) I was 4’5 at 8 years old and was 4’11 at 9. When I was 11, I was about 5’10. I was huge. 7 years later and I hit 18. Barely only grew an inch in between that time frame. All my brothers grew up to be over 6’5. The tallest one is 6’10. I feel extremely short in my family. I get 5’11 is not bad but I feel like a dwarf. Though, none of my brothers were ever the size of me when they were 12.
From what I understand it’s that you got the genes form your mom. You are the same situation my cousin had. He was 5’7 at 12 and he still is at 27. He got the genes from his 5’5 mom. Unlike his younger brother who’s 6 and half he got the genes form his 6 foot dad. You were just unlucky you got your mothers family gene that’s all.
It really just depends on if you have hit your growth spurt or not. Like I am 6 feet tall without shoes and turned 15 about a month ago, but its not because of growth spurts, it's just gradual growing. I was already about 5'7 or 5'8 at 11, and I have been growing about an inch a year since then, so I haven't even had my growth spurt yet. If I recall correctly, lebron was also that height at 11, so I could be his height. Just track your growing to see if you have hit your growth spurt yet or not
I fuck up I could of been so much taller I spent my entire 2 years of sleeping late, eating bad barely getting any sunlight but now for 2 months I been cycling, going in the sun, working out, eating healthy, playing basketball, hanging from a pull, I grew about 3/4 inches.

I think it's better to sleep the whole way through bc if you wake up many times you won't get the same quality sleep as if you slept all the way through during the night like it also depends how many hours you sleep every night bc if you over sleep then next time you go to sleep you won't be tired so it's very likely you won't sleep well and also to sleep better you should exercise a lot so that your lungs and your heart are tired and then at night you will be able to sleep better but like at least 3 hours before you sleep so that your heartbeat will regulate and you can sleep well (sorry if some parts sound weird I'm from Ecuador so I'm hot native in english)
@Fuad Aden well I think it's bc I get tired in the day like I wake up at 7 not so early but I play volleyball in the morning and then again in the afternoon and aside from that bc I live like in the countryside there's a lot of work to do everyday and the stores are really far away so whenenever I go to store I try to run instead of walk bc sprinting is really for growth so I think it's important you exercise a lot but other thing would be food so I don't consume sugar like at all and I eat fruits just once like Mao said just like in a meal after lunch and I don't eat fruits any other time of the day also I don't drink coffee or tea and I don't drink water like right before going to bed also I stretch and meditate before going to bed
Also at what time do you to bed? Bc for 3 years I had to wake up at 5 everyday and like after that I always woke up at 5 even when I didnt want to but in quarantine I started going to bed later and then I started waking up at 7 like I used to go to bed at 8 and now I go to bed at 9:30
@@mateo2265 9:30 is an excellent time to go to bed. In my opinion, applies well for all ages (kids, teenagers, and adults). But I believe as long as you don’t go to bed late and can get a full optimal 8-9 hours of sleep then you can potential grow taller. Have this in mind and hopefully you’ll get where you want to be! Yes your mid parental height is 5’9.75, meaning you will most likely be 5’10 and taller with good nutrition but this isn’t guaranteed because genetics might be recessive

It depends on genetics most people stop growing between the ages of 16-20 there are people who have stopped growing at the age of 7 12 with them being boys due genes we will never becoz even people who started puberty at a very young age can still stop growing later than predicted
U most Likely got genes from your mom since she is very short you might also have a growth spurt later on in life but rn it looks like you will be between 5’7-5’10

I fuck up I could of been so much taller I spent my entire 2 years of sleeping late, eating bad barely getting any sunlight but now for 2 months I been cycling, going in the sun, working out, eating healthy, playing basketball, hanging from a pull, I grew about 3/4 inches.

Do you have to sleep the whole way through during the night to be able to grow, or can you take breaks in between to use the bathroom for example.
I think it's better to sleep the whole way through bc if you wake up many times you won't get the same quality sleep as if you slept all the way through during the night like it also depends how many hours you sleep every night bc if you over sleep then next time you go to sleep you won't be tired so it's very likely you won't sleep well and also to sleep better you should exercise a lot so that your lungs and your heart are tired and then at night you will be able to sleep better but like at least 3 hours before you sleep so that your heartbeat will regulate and you can sleep well (sorry if some parts sound weird I'm from Ecuador so I'm hot native in english)

@Fuad Aden well I think it's bc I get tired in the day like I wake up at 7 not so early but I play volleyball in the morning and then again in the afternoon and aside from that bc I live like in the countryside there's a lot of work to do everyday and the stores are really far away so whenenever I go to store I try to run instead of walk bc sprinting is really for growth so I think it's important you exercise a lot but other thing would be food so I don't consume sugar like at all and I eat fruits just once like Mao said just like in a meal after lunch and I don't eat fruits any other time of the day also I don't drink coffee or tea and I don't drink water like right before going to bed also I stretch and meditate before going to bed
Also at what time do you to bed? Bc for 3 years I had to wake up at 5 everyday and like after that I always woke up at 5 even when I didnt want to but in quarantine I started going to bed later and then I started waking up at 7 like I used to go to bed at 8 and now I go to bed at 9:30
@@mateo2265 9:30 is an excellent time to go to bed. In my opinion, applies well for all ages (kids, teenagers, and adults). But I believe as long as you don’t go to bed late and can get a full optimal 8-9 hours of sleep then you can potential grow taller. Have this in mind and hopefully you’ll get where you want to be!
