good video living here in upstate NY do about the same only thing I don’t do is the oil change if the oil is not needed to change I don’t plus I clean it up real good plus always put my good cover on it have 2 do the same sucks winter is about here still riding a bit but it’s about over 😢
I’ve been riding over 24 years, never winterized any bike because there is always at least one day or more each month in the winter when the temperature gets up to mid 40 degrees or more so I go for ride. I do keep it hooked up to battery tender and garage is always above freezing. I live in Pennsylvania. The coldest months are usually January and February.
good wright up the worst thing to do with your bike in the winter is to start it up time to time not good for the bike just let it sleep during the the winter
Better for internal engine parts to sit all winter in dirty oil rather than no oil. Internal combustion engines are not designed to sit dry. Also better to start engine monthly and let idle for ten minutes. Keeps top end lubricated and dissipates moisture.

I’ve gone quite a few years without the oil change. I even put a cover over mine this year.

That would be nice. I wish I could get out a few days in the winter.
Wish I had a garage😢
It is definitely nice to have.

Don’t think I’ve ever done that. It just sits for the most part.
Would it do any harm to drain the fluids and not put fresh fluids in when you get back into riding season?
I don’t think it would make much of a difference if you change fluids before or after storage. As long as there is oil in the bike it should be fine.
