I like the Road King. I’m just not a fan of the fixed faring. I know it’s probably super useful, but I just like a nice simple look. I was hoping for better paint choices this year. Keep on going, your videos are awesome in their information and simplifying!

I think the price increase is going to kill sales...the dealership here in Niagara is still loaded with 2024 models. Although the increase may move the 2024's at this point. Hard to justify $40,000 out the door for a toy.

Would be great if the FB had cruise control, tpms, BO would need new handbars = brought back to reach the further back position. why is the BO lighter with a larger engine; same body ?

one plus for the BO for tall persons is about an inch further out for controls. very nice;. with an option to go another 3" out/forward. Nice ! Takes some getting used to turning on fat B tires. .If you put that screaming eagle 117 air intake on the FB as mine has; then you have to extend your brake pad to be able to get your leg around the air inlet. .

I like motorcycles that are real and don't try to out-tech the Gold Wing.

The Fat Bob was my first HD. I really liked the beefy, bulldog, modern, blacked-out look. I was talking to a HD salesman a few days ago after I test rode a Low Rider S and Street Bob. He said that he thinks they dropped the Fat Bob because its features and specs were too similar to the Low Rider S, so he didn’t think that they would bring it back. Plus, I heard that it didn’t sell well compared to the Low Rider S. Possibly it was too modern looking, and most people like the “club” look of the LRS. I’ve seen several FB’s for sale that people turned into club style, which I think ruins its distinctive sporty styling. I really hope that they bring it back in bright Red with bold HD on the tank, the 117, cruise control, and the option of mid controls. I do group rides of 200-300+ miles in a day, and the forwards killed my lower back and hamstrings (short legs), even with a Saddlemen seat.

I'm a longtime rider, a new Fat Boy owner, and an engineer (for what that's worth). I have a '22 with the open slots. Crosswind is NOT a problem on this bike. However, there is a significant difference in turning dynamics. Many reviewers assign this difference to the width of the tires. In my estimation, it is due to the marked difference in gyroscopic effect of the massive wheels and tires. Rotating inertia is based on the mass X distance to the rotating axis squared. Comparing spoked wheels and narrower tires to the the mass of the solid Fat Boy wheels and wide tires, and the distance of where that mass is relative to the axle, the math is clear. Managing the change of all that angular momentum in a turn is a different experience (and could be a problem if unfamiliar). That difference can be managed with experience, but Fat Boy dynamics will never feel like a typical cruiser in this respect.

Great review bro. Like I have said before...the CEO has to go. Period!! As HD riders/enthusiasts, we have no say. Hopefully the Board Of Directors will see how horrible of a job he has done, and listen to their true diehard fan base, and let him go. I would like to see HD do something really cool for the Fat Boy , in 2025. The Fat Boy will be 35 yrs old in 2025. I would like them to pay tribute to the original, the Grey Ghost. Give the bike the same paint and yellow trim as the original. But that's just my opinion. The 30th anniversary edition was cool, but I would have like the bronze/goldish trim , to be yellow like the original. But that's just me. Hope you have a great New Years and keep up the great work 💯🤘🏻

Looks like the breakout is a brother to the rocker years ago they tried to copy it a lot. I had one an it was not a long ride motorcycle handle bars were way up front short drag bars you were way out of a comfort sit in a few miles the breakout looks like they have figured better an i was younger then so wasn’t because of being old but now I am lol great video!

I bought a used 2021 Softail Standard with 1200 kms on the odometer. Came with V&H twin slash slip ons and the rest all stock. 9.9/10 in condition. Dislikes - stock seat does suck, brakes and suspension are barely adequate. Rode on the 114 on various models, found it whiny and not that much more torque. The 107 is more than good enough. The low seat height, VH sound and the handling is great. Overall, no buyer's remorse. OG 6.5 risers and moto bar are planned for this coming summer. You got bigger problems though, them SK straight roads are boring AF man. LOL (I lived in lovely PA for nearly 10 years) Stay safe!

They take a couple of rides to get used to the handling. I’ve rode 2 wheels for 40 yrs and this is fun and easy

Congrats on 3 k subs. The touring models took a lot of R and D and H-D should be applauded The grey as a base colour is a little frustrating. I'm not sure how they keep selling the trikes. I could care less about the woke crap response ( classless bunch) . My Nightster had wires rub against my air box cover causing more than fifteen trouble codes but HD fixed it. I rode a road king but the speedo location is a no deal for me. Why would H-D never make a CVO sportster ?

I don't know for sure but I think that dedicating so much emotion to HD is not worth it. I own an HD and I like it. But, I don't worship it nor do I the brand. I love my YZFR1 and love my FXLRS. I use the winter to do things on both bikes. I too am looking forward to the lakes melting and the roads not being covered in salt and sand. A happy new year would be quick passage to Spring. Until then, snowed or iced in.

I am 66 years old ,just retired ,never rode. Got my ebdorsement thru Harleys 3 day course on that shitty 350 and I am 6foot 7,so you can imagine what that was like,Next day went out and bought 2005 fatboy fuel injected with 16,000 orig miles immaculate condition for 5,700 dollars. I was comfortable on the first day and absolutely love this bike.Prob will get higher handlebars, but I do like the stock ones to. Being 6 foot 7 it is pretty comfortable,but I havnt gone on any real long rides yet.

They messed up with these new Release dates, obviously, don’t give a 💩 about the riders like me, living in the Midwest, it’s winter,HD had the largest bike show in the world, Sturgis, to show off their new bikes, you could buy and ride immediately, now its wait til Spring, guess it’s like the government when you have dumbasses in charge, Anyway, Happy New Year to all, we need it 👍

I' ve got 2023 softail standard and I like it so much. Sitting position, handle bars , performance, just perfect for me. Can anybody tell me, am I going to be too wrong, if I drill couple of holes into exhausts to make sound better? Thank's for any answer

I have a 2012 stage II Fatboy. Love it. Turned it into a fatglide. Batwing, saddlebags etc.

I have to say that I felt like a little boy who is dreaming of a space ship or who has been watching Star Wars. Incredible that you did not have to change gears! But as you said, a toy.
