The only thing I would add was Orfist’s battle was a gambit to give the defenders a crystal like substance that could actually see the Dragontree’s base in Gyze End Bay (it was hidden behind an illusion, hence why it appeared to be an empty hole in the ocean at first. And also it seems that Zorga joining the Dragontree was a long term gambit to line things up so that it would integrate into planet Cray like what happened with Link Joker. If Nirvana had tried to destroy the Dragontree directly like Gripho had wanted, it would have absorbed Nirvana’s fate power and totally absorbed the planet. Trickstar basically managed to “reset” Gripho.
Thanks for replying and sharing it! I never even knew how much of an impact orfist’s battle had to the story(didn’t even know there was a crystal 😅) same thing with zorga’s plans!
@ To be fair, the crystal thing was like a brief mention between the end of the battle and the final assault on the Dragontree’s home base. And almost all of Zorga’s lore is both very spread out and very subtle (just like Zorga himself likes it, I imagine)! Like, when Zorga fought Bastion, I think he gave Bastion a hint at fighting Gripho: Zorga trapped Bastion in a whirlpool. If Bastion fought the whirlpool, it would have left him a sitting duck for Zorga’s next strike. By letting himself be dragged by the current, Bastion was able to escape the hold and strike back at Zorga.
Great video! Very interesting storytelling and not just a boring reading of the story. I especially liked the part when u showed acnologia when mentioning the abyss dragon. Thought it was pretty clever to use it and not a vanguard unit
You would think that they would have solid protections against corruption and possession at this point as this is about the fourth or fifth time this has happened.
@@Jeylo.399-in7yf it’s undetermined at the moment. We’ve seen Zorga return after his disappearance with his new form but Levidras introduction means that there most likely won’t be any more drajeweled cards. It’ll be up to Vanguard/Bushiroad to determine if they want to make a new form for orfist, and if so, will have them in the new story alongside The Fate Cards

I have a question what if the encounter cards has a masque form like example the old units such as Maelstrom from stoicheia Luquier from dark states Overlord from dragon empire Phantom blaster from keter sanctuary Daiyusha from brandt gate What will be look like?

Not enough information is provided but would be cool to explore seeing older cards find remanents of the hydragum. (Phantom blaster with masque would be cool)
