Cozy Glow always makes me wonder what went wrong for her to end up this way. A pony who grew up in an era predominantly ruled by love and friendship turning out the way she did honestly makes me wish we got some sort of backstory. She’s an odd one out among the villains in nearly every way
She's the answer to when people ask about ponies who get cutie marks in Actively Malicious Deeds. When she briefly gets her evil alicorn superform, her cutie mark only gets more big and castle-ey, making it clear what her shit's all about.
yeah, i always felt like we were robbed for getting any kind of backstory or explanation for her, a kid doesn't just turn evil like that for no reason but the only reason we ever really get is just a vague "friendship stupid >:(" like i guess a kid could just be born bad and nothing made her that way, but i kinda doubt it, most bad kids are just bullies like diamond tiara pre redemption, not racist dictators lmao. sometimes i wonder if she's even really a kid or if she just looks like that for whatever reason
Wasn't she corrupted by Tirek? They wrote letters to each other, maybe she thought she could help him but Tirek twisted her good intentions to its worst
@@dmitrykhvostik5975 I like this idea on its face, but the show goes out of its way to show that she knows what she’s doing when trying to drain the magic from Equestria and manipulate the school into being her friends. It’s possible that he planted the idea in her mind since he told her about the artifacts and the draining ritual (we still don’t know how they became pen pals in the first place), it seems like she developed the idea and what she would do once the magic was gone going forward.
A good solution would’ve been an episode where she shows up having pretended to reform and trying to integrate back into the changeling society with the hopes of betraying them all and getting her vengeance and power back.
After she called the Magic of Friendship a "disease", it seems like Friendship just took the Legion of Doom personally. Discord is just doing its favor.
Bronies: We're tired of redemptions. Can't we just have villains be evil? Hasbro: Ok, we won't redeem our final villains. We'll kill them instead. Bronies: *shocked Pikachu face*
I don't know....... depends on how aware they are as that statue. Eons unable to move or speak trapped with your own thoughts and quite possibly seeing and hearing everything that goes on around you? Then again total sensory deprivation for a thousand years or more might be worse than knowing what is around you. Either way, after a time death would seem like a release. But given their crimes and rejection of all offers at redemption it may be well earned.
@@travissmith2848 yet i still see something wrong with cozy No other pony was as evil as she was its against the very foundation of harmony Which is why we have to find why she is that way And perhaps her cutiemark may help
@@seantaggart7382 Off hand, I'd say she discovered at an early age she had the talent to manipulate events and ponies to get what she wants. Combine that with the possibility of having parents that would be like Neighsay and Spoiled Rich (Milk) to start her on a self important and power is all that really maters kind of path and things are not looking good. Biological tendency toward sociopathy and a bullying incident where a unicorn lorded magic over her and..... Well, you get a master manipulator that sees nothing wrong with taking whatever she wants hurting anyone even if it just for fun and an insatiable lust for power.
Admittedly I don’t think Chrysalis meant to ruin their trip in the mean 6 clones. That was just the result of mistaken identity because the clones went off and did their own things. She did want to use them the steal the elements of Harmony to destroy the Mane 6 and then Starlight. Messing the Mane team was more of the clones going AWOL from Cheese legs plan than Chrysalis herself.
I actually think the finale is in character for discord. He does orchestrate conflict to teach lessons, and he had every reason to believe he could handle it if things went too far.

Honestly, I'm not even fully convinced that Cozy Glow is actually a child. Sometimes, I think she's just an adult who looks like a child and uses that to manipulate people.

They were awful… But I still like the idea of instead of friendship, they would have formed like a found family type dynamic. Cozy Glow was basically attached to the hip (one-sided) to Tirek. Made her feel bigger, I guess? Their trio song “Better Way to Be Bad” is still one of the best in the show. And their episode is a solid 9/10.
Its like the oxygen masks on the airplanes! You have to pur yours on before you intervene with others strangling their neighbors with the tubing. Or something like that
Reminds me of total drama Courtney saying that "you can't behave like a raging psychopath and expect people to forgive you,. She's never gonna get far in life if she doesn't get her act together"

@@herpderp3916 Not the brightest plan when the one DISGUISED AS GROGAR and manhandled them no sweat is against her. Her having an anti-magic barrier up was a necessity for standing any chance against discord.
My real question for Cozy Glow is who are her parent(s), legal guardian(s), or caretaker(s)? She had to be enrolled by someone else, unless it was done by Tirek, which would make her a victim, similar to Harley Quinn with the Joker. But if she wasn't enrolled by Tirek, I can only imagine the awkward silence Twilight and the others have when someone is there to pick Cozy Glow up and take her home, lol
Honestly, she most likely doesn't have any parental figures in her life. I mean would it not make sense for the show to atleast show her parental figure?
4:36 I can’t be the only one who thought Chrysalis was Cozy in Season 8 since we saw Chrissy also in Season 8 but when we got to the season finale, I was proven SO WRONG and the worst part is we NEVER got Cozy Glow’s backstory or what let her up to this….
That's... actually a fair point. She's the only antagonist we don't get a backstory for. Either it was planned but got scrapped, or more likely she barely had more reason than we saw(ie she was just bad because it was fun and nothing else)

what i found really ironic about the legion of doom was that even in the end, when they "finally" won, and everyone is basically fucked because of the snow creatures, they still were selfish and arguing with eachother. @@YariAbigailX3 And? She still committed atrocities. Something had to be done about her. Can't just keep locking her up just for her to escape again and again. It's the same with Batman and Joker. The latter is a full-blown psychopathic murderer who's way beyond saving and the former always locks him up in Arkham Asylum only for the Joker to escape over and over and over again, and yet, Batman refuses to let himself and anyone else kill him due to his moral code. My point is that it becomes a cycle. Cozy Glow, Tirek, and Chrysalis attempt to take over or destroy Equestria, Twilight and the others stop them, and they just break out/come back and do it all over again. A cycle. It has to stop at some point.

I agree that they don’t deserve redemption, but I still hate that they were turned to stone by Discord, Celestia, and Luna. How many times has imprisonment allowed these villains to come back one thousand years later? Every single one. They need a more permanent solution. Also, isn’t one of Discord’s first lines “I don’t turn ponies to stone” so I hate that he not only suggested the idea to Celestia and Luna, but helped them do it.
It does pose a future threat. But if their minds still work they are fully aware of their own thoughts and either fully aware of what goes on directly around them and unable to do anything or spend a thousand years or more in total sensory deprivation. After just the first few months death would be seen as a grace.
@@travissmith2848 Eh not for Tirak, that guy's as immortal as Discord so it'd be basically no time for him. Cozy's probably the one to go actually crazy. Chrys... I think is also basically immortal so insanity from sensory deprivation won't get to her either.
@@travissmith2848I don't think that they are awere, Disford was because he is Discord, the other characters are not as powerfull as he is and don't have his powers.
Great video! For me, the problem isn't that the trio gets turned to stone. The problem is that the show doesn't explain the difference between the trio and the reformed villains. Most reformations in the series are rushed and forced. Often with the heroes making things right with the villains when it should be the other way around. Trust and forgiveness needs to be earned, but the ponies usually hand it out of a silver platter. Heck, Daring Doubt said that everyone deserves kindness. The show says one minute "blindly forgive villains," and the next minute it says "turn them to stone without a second thought." Turning them to stone could have worked if they spent the finale learning that not everyone can be redeemed. But they don't do that because they don't have time. They only have two episodes which means they have to rush through everything. Which is the main reason the finale is painfully average.
Indeed Honestly if they did that? Then I'd be alright with them turned to stone Its just cozy however *why a pony? Why is she this way? No other pony was that evil...*
I think this is what G5 was originally trying to do before it just kinda went off the rails and got completely derailed by corporate mandates and being skewed to the younger demo. G4 started by the previous (in universe) generations sweeping the shit they can't handle under the rug. Or in this case, into the statue garden, on the moon, etc. I bet these three were originally going to be related to the problem they had to lock away all magic for. It would be a great way to relate back to g4.
Cozy: i think me and flowey would get along ...though not forever I mean cmon You really think flowey would be ALL that evil? Like the reason be did all of that? It was because he was bored
13:13 Thank you, yes! Trixie might be egotistical and dysfunctional, but that's no reason to ostracise a hard working performer, that was just barely eking out a living. Her arc is basically: homeless street performer flips someone off, has their guitar broken, lives harder without it, finds the person that broke it and punches them, gets parole and then slowly gets their life together. Yeah, she's not as hard up as that, but it's the best equivalent I can think of.
i wonder what or why cozy glow did the things she did. theres many possiblities like her possibly having the mind of an adult while having the body of a child or bad parenting. she was a great villian (all the villians are great in mlp lol) but i think she needed more backstory or idk, depth into her motivation
There's something I've dubbed the Cozy Glow problem, if you write a character whose done horrible things, irredeemable things, but there a kid, people who see your story will always think they deserve redemption, again no matter how evil they are. For some reason even though people can except that pure evil exists in fiction, they can't apply that to younger characters
Tbh my only gripe was that they never gave cozy glow a backstory Like I don't mind an irredeemable child villian but at least tell me why they're that way
Joffrey Baratheon was also a kid, and he didn't deserve redemption, his death was well deserved and everyone cheered for that. It should be the same with Cozy Glow, she had her ultimate demise coming.
I know right! It’s annoying when people redeem everything antagonist because not every evil person can change. You’re basically telling kids everyone can be redeem when in reality that’s not true!! Plus headcanon: cozy glow is a drawf pony which would explain her small size but in reality she is a much older adult.
@sherniajones6964 People want cozyglow to have a chance of redemption because she's a child. The others aren't. If anything, people are more curious on why she became that way and want to see her backstory.
When I first saw Cozy Glow I thought she was going to be the Changeling Queen trying to learn about friendship, just so she could destroy Twilight's whole plans. Only for her to actually CARE about the friends she made while there, aka the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Would have been a better thing for her tbh.
Im glad you made the point on 15:00 cuz to me that’s the biggest sign they’re irredeemable like they couldn’t even be friends and not want to hurt people with their same mindset and goals
*Queen Chrysalis:* The Magic of Friendship is like a disease. We must not let it get hold of us! *Magic of Friendship:* _I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye._
Honestly more shows nowadays need irredeemable villains. Not everyone can be redeemed. Not everyone wants or needs it. That's just the reality of the world. Some people are just downright evil and nothing can fix it. There are also people who you just can't help. You can't help people that don't want help or don't think they need help themselves. It's nice to think that everyone can be better, but the reality is not everyone can. Whether it be a mental health issue that affects their brain function, some past trauma causing them to be bad, or they're just a bad person that likes being bad.
Yea I think people who wrote story board planed Cozy glow to be an actuall adult, like the horror story where a family Adopts a young girl to just find out later on she is a 30 year old woman who wants to kill them
Honestly I needed at least 1 episode explaining Cozy Glow's backstory or sumthin. There were a lot of friends I knew that thought that Cozy wasn't as developed as Chrysalis or as ancient as Tirek, so they came to the conclusion that Cozy wasn't a memorible villain
Like take Diamond Tiara as an example. Diamond Tiara wasn't exactly a villain but she has an arc that made her interesting as a character and made my brony friends consider her more of a villain than Cozy. DT's motivations to be mean actually makes sense when it was told to us by an episode, her mother was, what was the word, overbearing to her. Cozy on the other hand doesn't have a clear motivation. When rewatching season 8 and 9, the seasons that has her in it, there is barely any mention of family, a clear early life, or how she became this way. And what makes even less sense is that the princesses turned her into a statue, by her mannerisms and looks she couldn't be more than 10, 12 if I'm being generous. She is a child, she doesn't understand whats good and bad. Heck, Discord is thousands of years old and he was reformed abd was let free even though he did things way worse than what she did. Don't believe me ? Discord made Equestria absolutely chaotic, twice, tried to do it again but didn't do it in the end, betrays the ponies and ganged up with Tirek, brought back King Sombra, brought Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy together, almost got Equestria destroyed at least 3 times by this point, you see what I mean ? Meanwhile Cozy was just a bit more of a manipulative kid that got the wrong idea of things. The worst she did was the last fight in the series but somepony could have saved her before that, pretty sure therapy exists. Stealing magic from Equestria ? Heck Tirek did it more successfully than her ! She might be a demon child but she doesnt really deserve to be turned to stone as a, yet again, CHILD I rest my case, please add if there are any mistakes
I saw someone suggest that she tries to infiltrate the reformed changelings, realizes “this is pretty nice actually” and then gets redeemed essentially by accident when she does some sort of important selfless action. Or realizes that her people are genuinely happier- though that would require her character be changed from power hungry to wanting to feed her kingdom.
@@eldritchcupcakes3195 one half of me always wanted her to reform... But another half prefers her as this irredeemable monster that doesn't want to change! Maybe at one point she wanted to feed her kingdom but got carried away with her own greed, and then they turned against her.
I remember seeing a fanart of that on DeviantArt. They gave her this whole moth motif and changed her colors from black and green to white and pale blue. It was honestly a really beautiful look for the character.
It unfortunately doesn't fit her, since she's meant to represent a form of pure evil, as opposed to a character with positive motives being executed horribly (like Starlight)
THANK YOU! I don't care if Cozy is a child, she still did what she did. She still stole all the magic in Equestria (how she wasn't powerless I'll never know), she still rejected friendship when it was offered, she still teamed up with Tirek and Chrysalis (In fact, she was the one who got them to team up if the song "Better Way to Be Bad" is any indication), she was still far too happy wanting to destroy everyone in Equestria, Cozy deserves no redemption. And Chrysalis misunderstood, yeah right. Again, rejected friendship when it was offered by Starlight. Thank you for finally calling this out
She was targeting one specific "kind" of magic: "Arcana" (unicorn & "potion" magic). As a pegasus, she can fly with Elemental (Air) magic. -> She wanted to "level the field" by lowering alicorns to the same level of pegasi & unicorns to the same level of earth ponies.
When it eventually turns out she truly doesn't want to change, then go stop her, but as she is a kid, but give her a second chance to change. I do think she deserves a second chance. A child's brain is not fully developed, so I don't see why just asking "hey kid, wanna be friends?" Instead of actually trying to help her get out of the path of evil. Maybe not even give her a chance, just a little bit of pity, or address the fact that it's weird that a kid has gotten so evil, or question what happened to her family... anything really! Just give us at the very east a little bit of closure.
I just find it weird they deemed cozy Glow enough of a threat to turn her into stone and put her in Tartarus. A justice system has two purposes Reformation and imprisonment. Those are not the same things obviously tirek and Chrysalis are actual threats and simply need to be locked away. But at the end of the day, cozy glow is an 8-year-old Pegasus. She doesn't even have magic. I'm pretty sure a regular jail would have been just fine
My problem with "the Legion of Doom" is that they don't really play into the theme of the show. The Frenemies episode just leaves them in this weird "teammates" state without exploring their relationships. They sometimes bicker, but that doesn't really lead to their downfall. I wish they were actual friends, but with bad goals
Golly, that edit of me was the most delightful thing I've witnessed in recent times! Regarding the video,i disagree with the majority of its contents: Tirek and Chrysalis could be reformed, while Cozy (ME~) has proven herself to be irredeemable. Tirek has a deeper motivation for being an antagonist: his father, King Vorak (correct me if i misspelled it) has disproven of him,and Tirek wants to revea that he is powerful by conquering Equestria. The fact that his brother transferred to the good side was only fuel on fire. Tirek would need convincing that his life does not have to revolve around satisfying his father. He even specifically mentioned in a scene that he believes being evil is futile until Chrysalis snapped him out of it. Chrysalis' refusal and subsequent resentment of friendship is rather understandable when you consider that her hive and students she cared and feed for her life has come to see her as an enemy. She is afraid of change and befalling the same fate her students did, which is reforming. She would be a tough nut,but with the right amount of convincing, and seeing that her former students are longing for a queen to lead them besides Thorax, she would eventually reform and resume her duty as Queen of the changelings, albeit not as a tyrant. Here comes the cute one and my favorite: it's me! Cozy Glow has zero redeeming qualities, would manipulate the mane six into believing she's reforming, even though she would shove a dynamite in thier backside, and has exhibited zero motivation for being evil: she is a psychopath. And even though i was depressed when she was petrified (she really is my favorite fictional character just in general, I'm not stating these because I'm half roleplaying as a narcissist) if she was left free then she would bring about the apocalypse again. And yes, there is that scene in Frenemies where she says that helping others feels good, but she immediately stops thinking about it and continues being evil anyway, while the other two would be redeemable in my opinion. And i am very saddened that she would trick everyone into believing she would reform, which would make it impossible to reform her. I feel rather bad because i deemed my favorite fictional character irredeemable.... The same thing could be applied to the Storm King and King Sombra, even though they weren't present in the video. They're also irredeemable. On an unrelated note, you should cut down on your utilizement of swear words. Your vocabulary is horribly irritating.
Yet doesn't it seem strange she's the ONLY pony that is like her? Like The other reformed villians had their moments But had any one of them tried to ERASE magic? Not that i know of
@@seantaggart7382exactly. Look at that facial expression in the penultimate episode where she was preparing to annihilate the heroes. And even if someone were to reform her, she would manipulate them and attempt to overthrow the Mane Six again, which is largely why i think she is irredeemable, because evil can be redeemed. But is in my dear's blood to manipulate,it is her talent and destiny, and the fact that she is more wicked than King Sombra certainly doesn't help, which is the other major factor,as not even Discord was this sinful, even though he is a chaos demon. And yes: it is strange that a child ended up being the most morally wrong and tyrannical antagonist. In my opinion, the only way to reform Cozy is to wipe her mind and replace her cutie mark with something that isn't related to manipulation. This is not ideal at all,and it will never happen: she is most likely deceased by G5 anyways (sadly 😞)
@@CozyGlow625 her cutiemark isn't the issue actually There's no such thing as a bad cutiemark I think a certain mlp theory youtuber said it best They can persuade others

I find Cozy Glow to be the most evil villain of MLP. Yeah, Tirek and Queen Chrysalis are real pieces of work, but Cozy is a whole new monster. Imagine if she grew up.
Yes, exactly! The moral here is that redemption only works if you *want it!* Starlight, Discord, Sunset, Tempest - when they were offered lifelines, they grabbed them. Cozy, Tirek, Sombra, and Chrysalis slapped them away.
15:11 In hindsight I feel like this right here is the show essentially saying that they wouldn’t want to be redeemed. Some people thought maybe it was a hint that they WOULD be redeemed in the finale, but now I feel it was them saying “They considered it, but didn’t want it.” Almost like they considered it weakness. Not only that, they weren’t even gonna rule together. They just wanted to get the heroes out of the way, then they would try to destroy each other. It was an alliance, not a true friendship. Their heads are too big for that.
A lot of people forgot about that the trio don't see each other as actual friends and that they intended on destroying each other after they defeat the Mane 6.
Yeah Like even as a fan of cozy I think a better way would be her being forced to make friends Imagine that! Im not taking Friendship or reforming her I mean Actually make her try to make friends and then as she makes them? *_TAKE THEM_* let her feel what she does to others So she knows what she did
@@seantaggart7382 yeah, exactly. Being a statue feels like a weird punishment. If they are still sentient and alive, then it's rather gruesome, okay, but saying "haha now they're stuck together" doesn't do it for me. I actually loved the idea of Cozy becoming an Alicorn because (correct me if I'm wrong) this is the FIRST ever case of someone willfully changing their race (which should very common? like, Twilight was able to grow wings, but Scootaloo and Tempest are forced to be disabled forever?) The way Cozy became an Alicorn and stopped being it in a flash is such a disappointment.

Also, according to the MLP comics, King Vorak, who was Lord Tirek and his brother's FATHER, SEVERELY neglected him, which might have led to Tirek's craving for power.
Honestly this is comedy gold. Also Cozy Glow is cute. That being said yeah they all deserve the punishment they received. Also if Starlight is the best pony to you, wouldn’t that mean she’s the best villain, since she was a villain in Season 5?
I will never understand why people honestly think Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy are all redeemable. They rejected the idea of redemption despite having multiple opportunities to change their wicked ways but they willingly chose to stay evil, even until the very end.. Them turning to stone at the end is the logical thing to do and I'm very glad that the finale didn't ended up reforming them because that wouldn't make any sense and it's a good way to teach people and especially kids that not everyone is willing to turn over a new leaf. W video and as always you're editing is on point MV.
Finally someone who doesn't want every villain to be redeemed or have a redemption arc it's just the truth of the real world there's people who are evil for the sake of being evil and other many reason which I'm lazy to do this is why I prefer villains more bec there more beautiful, have better and intense song,is not a goody too shoes and most importantly not getting a redemption arc for the villain I want the villain to stay as she is,she doesn't need to change her character or her personality overall
Maybe thousands of years in Tartarus will make them more open to the idea of friendship? I mean, they only have each other, and the only way they could escape is working together. That would make a better redemption story. Having to climb out of Hell itself while learning to trust each other.
@ in one of the comics Chrysalis kidnaps the Cutie Mark Crusaders to use them as bait to lure the main 6 into a trap. She comes extremely annoyed by them very fast. The place where she is staying used to be populated by cute little kittens. At one point she shows one to the cutie mark crusaders. Scootaloo asks what she’s going to do with the kitten and in the next panel we only see a splat.
Honestly, I think Chrysalis could be redeemed. She's the only one of the three legitimately open to the idea of friendship. She just fears it in a way. Not trying to justify any of her S2/S6 actions, but you do have to consider that she IS a parasite. All she knows is to feed on others. During S6's finale, she was faced with every one of her enemies, including her own children turned against her, and forced to make a split second decision. It's no wonder she ran away. Along with that, seeing her subjects physically morph into something so alien would certainly secure that fear of friendship in her mind. She sees it as a plague. (And that's somewhat true. The changelings have fully assimilated into pony culture rather than maintaining their own. [Whatever they may have had.]) So while she's obviously evil, if she was given time and separation from Cozy and Tirek, I do genuinely think she could be reformed. As for Tirek and Cozy Glow? Hard agree. I don't care who Cozy's parents are, she and Tirek are too far gone.
I am 100% convinced that Cozy Glow is NOT a kid, but a full-grown adult with a small body and appearance who became so enraged at her disadvantages that she turned evil. She's basically the MLP universe's equivalent to Batman's Baby Doll, minus the heartbreaking backstory.
The kid excuse only works if they were just too naive to fully realize the harm they’re inflicting and are fully willing to dial back when they are helped. Cozy fully knew wtf she was doing lol. She planned that shit out. They don’t wanna feel guilty.
as sad as I was when MLP ended you gotta admit them NOT getting reformed is kinda a really important lesson to learn in life. took me getting bullied out of 100 dollars worth of poptarts in middle school to finally realize that.
For what it’s worth Tirek actually gif a lot smarter compared to his debut. Idk if he *could* be redeemed but I don’t see Cozy much less Chrysalis ever try to redeem themselves
Honestly, shows that have these types of villains where they essentially KNOW their flaw but actively ignore it and try to bury that side of them deep down, essentially refusing to learn fron their actions and having the consequences fall down on them in a glorious collapse from what little grace they had is very fun, and oh so satisfying. Noting this here, Jax from tadc is definitely that type of antagonist, and will refuse to grow as a person and end up in the cellar as a result
I was really hoping that Discord's motive was to try to reform them. Something like, "You believed I could change when no one else did, and I've learned so much since then. I thought I could help them do the same"
Funny video, great analysis, but the EDITING?? THE EDITING WAS ON POINT! Not a single moment felt dull or empty, and that edit of the mane 6 kicking cozy’s ass was FIRE. The split second edit at 4:56 alone had awesome vibes on it
Heck, comic backstory for Chrysalis showed she was literally born from evil magic. And Tirek was powerhungry since he was a child, plus that wanting his dads approval thing Discord mentioned.
Yeah as soon as I saw that Cozy Glow's cutie mark was a chess piece in her debut episode I was like, "this girl sus" so I wasn't surprised when she revealed her ture nature I was waiting for that shoe to drop on episode one.
I didn't even see what her cutie mark was for the longest time, I suspected her of being bad purely because of how sugary sweet she was!! She was so freakishly sweet that there was no way she wasn't faking!
Not to mention they blamed Twilight Spike and their friends for ruining their lives and their defeats when it's their own fault for being blind and stupid. They ruin their own lives by wasting their lives on pointless needless things they don't even need.
I agree it not twilight and her friends fault that they ruined their own lives for power and bitterness for revenge they used people to get what want now they blame them self for being selfish and greedy

That right here

There's something I've dubbed the Cozy Glow problem, if you write a character whose done horrible things, irredeemable things, but there a kid, people who see your story will always think they deserve redemption, again no matter how evil they are.
For some reason even though people can except that pure evil exists in fiction, they can't apply that to younger characters
Tbh my only gripe was that they never gave cozy glow a backstory
Like I don't mind an irredeemable child villian but at least tell me why they're that way
Joffrey Baratheon was also a kid, and he didn't deserve redemption, his death was well deserved and everyone cheered for that. It should be the same with Cozy Glow, she had her ultimate demise coming.

Some people also can DENIE help even then they can change
Well. Winx Club has a lot inrredemable villains.
Cozy Glow is just like Baby Doll from the Batman animated series. Adults with a child appearance
Thank you omg, I'm tired of people saying, "Cozy Glow was just a child!" Umm in the literal sense, yes, but she was not JUST a child lmfao
Unless she just happens to look very young, but is actually older.
She might be a demon child but she doesnt really deserve to be turned to stone as a, yet again, CHILD
I rest my case, please add if there are any mistakes
Honestly I wonder what reformed, non-parasitic Chrysalis would’ve looked like. Probably very pretty
I had know idea the brony fandom had their own Black Air Force youtuber.

A child's brain is not fully developed, so I don't see why just asking "hey kid, wanna be friends?" Instead of actually trying to help her get out of the path of evil. My problem with "the Legion of Doom" is that they don't really play into the theme of the show.

@@CozyGlow625 her cutiemark isn't the issue actually
There's no such thing as a bad cutiemark
I think a certain mlp theory youtuber said it best
They can persuade others
@@seantaggart7382 I assume you meant Sawtooth Waves by "certain UA-camr" but precise me if not. They have very good points about certain things in the series, but i personally disagree with them about Cozy Glow ever utilizing her talent for good.
@@CozyGlow625 then Well we are at a lost
Because Have you seen the show?
Not a SINGLE cutiemark has been shown with a negative connotation
I find Cozy Glow to be the most evil villain of MLP. Yeah, Tirek and Queen Chrysalis are real pieces of work, but Cozy is a whole new monster. Imagine if she grew up.
Thank you for adding chapters. This helped a lot.
YOUR BACK AINT NO WAY??
also I love how you edit your videos
Yeah
Same energy as Max0r
I love it
Yes, exactly! The moral here is that redemption only works if you *want it!* Starlight, Discord, Sunset, Tempest - when they were offered lifelines, they grabbed them. Cozy, Tirek, Sombra, and Chrysalis slapped them away.
7:06 Yeah Undefeatable really fits the Tirek vs Twilight fight
He literally went Max0r mode.
Brother... you didn't just make fun of Queen Chrysalis. I summon hellfire upon you.
A lot of people forgot about that the trio don't see each other as actual friends and that they intended on destroying each other after they defeat the Mane 6.
this is prolly the best mlp vid ive seen in a long while
Insanely good music mixing and stellar editing, absolute banger video!
Good point! I still think this ending (turning into a stone statue) was lame. Not satisfying enough for both sides (the gang's fans and haters).
Yeah
Like even as a fan of cozy
I think a better way would be her being forced to make friends
Imagine that!
Im not taking Friendship or reforming her
I mean Actually make her try to make friends and then as she makes them? *_TAKE THEM_*
let her feel what she does to others
So she knows what she did
@@seantaggart7382 yeah, exactly.
@@IsabellaQuinns yeah and another thing? Discord although may be in character
I still dont think that Him allowing the elements of harmony(THINGS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE SAFETY OF EQUESTRIA) TO BE DESTROYED!
And them being symbols? No
I think its more they are amplifiers of the magic of friendship
Its one thing that he boosted her confidence
Its another TO DESTORY THE ELEMENTS!
maybe thats why opaline took over
It would explain how They couldn't use their magic to stop the unity from going away
Cozy must have had her parents ruthlessly killed in front of her or something to end up like this.
16:20 YOU HAD NO NEED TO COOK THIS HARD ON THIS BIT.
I AM HOOKED, I NEED IT LOOPED FOR AN HOUR
7:56- This part killed me 💀
Also, according to the MLP comics, King Vorak, who was Lord Tirek and his brother's FATHER, SEVERELY neglected him, which might have led to Tirek's craving for power.
Honestly this is comedy gold. Also Cozy Glow is cute. That being said yeah they all deserve the punishment they received. Also if Starlight is the best pony to you, wouldn’t that mean she’s the best villain, since she was a villain in Season 5?
This feels like one of those black air force analysis videos...

i tried so hard to play this in the background, but the editing absolutely enraptured my unfocused ass. nice work. keep it up.
The history of cyn, the silly little drone
And this is only the show! In the comics Chrysalis once exploded a kitten in front of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.
I’m sorry she did WHAT
@ in one of the comics Chrysalis kidnaps the Cutie Mark Crusaders to use them as bait to lure the main 6 into a trap.
15:23 NAHHHH THE WHIPLASH WHEN I HEARD TPZ MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Wait what the song?
I normally watch shit at 1.25 speed.
Luckily, this channel comes with that integrated.
Now I want a video on the two MLP villains who straight up died, King Sombra and Storm King
The kid excuse only works if they were just too naive to fully realize the harm they’re inflicting and are fully willing to dial back when they are helped.
Cozy fully knew wtf she was doing lol. She planned that shit out. They don’t wanna feel guilty.
16:24 Why do I absolutely love this but so much
I know it’s been like four months but what is the music at @16:25
Same
This is quite possibly the best video i've ever watched regarding the MLP lore as a non-MLP fan. Good job.
as sad as I was when MLP ended you gotta admit them NOT getting reformed is kinda a really important lesson to learn in life. took me getting bullied out of 100 dollars worth of poptarts in middle school to finally realize that.
The split second edit at 4:56 alone had awesome vibes on it
16:42 Nahhhh Twilight is absolutely crazy for that line💀💀💀
Someone has to want to change in order to reform
the final fight edited to CENSORED by t+pazolite went unreasonably hard. you've earned yourself a sub
3:28 "hi im flowey the flower"sounding ahh
Heck, comic backstory for Chrysalis showed she was literally born from evil magic.
And Tirek was powerhungry since he was a child, plus that wanting his dads approval thing Discord mentioned.
I honestly just wanted Queen Chrysalise redeemed, she had the most potential to be reformed but chose not to like you said.
