I wish I was old enough back then to see the trailer and anticipate its release. It must have been so rewarding to finally see the end product on screen. As a kid I saw different parts of it on live television, and I never felt like I got the full experience.

Some how I left the theater sad thinking about how heath ledger never got to see the audiences reactions to a role that would be remembered for generations to come.
This movie is standing the test of time. Christian Bale did well, but I still don’t even recognize Heath in this movie, anytime I think of “the best role anyone has ever fully realized”, I think of him as the joker. We miss you ❤️
The Batman is back, and I feel lucky to live in a time where we can witness such great actors embody the roles of characters that that the world has dreamed of for millennia, Thank you DC.
@@fortyozsteak The Dark Knight is better but it certainly comes very close. In fact, The Dark Knight may be a better film overall, but The Batman is a much better Batman movie than The Dark Knight. Same goes for Robert Pattison being better than Christian Bale as Batman.
