Even though these are a killer for your glutes, a workout alone wouldn't make any noticeable results if isn't combined with a structured diet aligned with your goals. You need quality nutrients in exact portions to make sure your body will regenerate all these damaged muscle tissues and not store unnecessary fat in the process. I am following Nextleveldiet fat loss meal plan for six weeks now and my boyfriend has already started complimenting my body 😊Great video Krissy, keep up the good work!!

    MAJOR TIP FOR EVERYONE ‼️
    • Practice your form when doing your day to day activities…
Ex. -I practice my RDL form when I have to hinge back when brushing my teeth
Ex.2 - I recently practiced my squat form when picking up the Christmas ornaments from a box I had on the floor to put on my tree 🎄
I know it might sounds silly but honestly it has been a game changer!
You can’t expect to have perfect form if the only time you are squatting or deadlifting is in the gym. Help your body feel comfortable with the movements and stance and you will notice a huge difference in your performance 🙌🏻

    Hey Krissy 😊
I wanted to thank you for being such a genuine soul. I've been fighting with my body and hating it for years (I genuinely can't remember the last time I felt good in my own body) and every time I thought about starting a fitness journey, I've always ended up feeling discouraged by how out of my league having a nice, toned body would be. It's like I literally feel like "who am I kidding? I will never get there". But then, only few days ago, one of your videos came up and I skeptically watched it and omg I was shocked. I was shocked by how genuinely passionate you are about what you do. There's this authenticity and humility in your manners that makes me feel like you do truly understand how scary and challenging (more psychologically than physically) deciding to start loving our own body can be. And for the first time, I start thinking that...you know what? I can do it 💪
Yesterday I did one of your workouts for the first time and god, I'm sore today 😆 I love it 😍
I've always been skeptical towards the million of fitness apps out there but I'll definitely download yours to support this challenging journey ahead of me.
Thank you very much, even simply for giving hope and motivation to those like me, who don't/didn't believe that loving our own body is achievable to everyone.
    You're great, Krissy 🌼

So happy you made this video for your followers, for I forever and a day tell clients and ransoms to “try” adjusting their stance, foot placement, bend their knees etc…but because of “the internet”, they see people doing things wrong and copy (& a good amount of the time, people aren’t doing stuff “wrong”, but doing it in a way that their body mechanics handle due to the articulation of the femur and pelvis, the GH joint, flexibility or lack of in the gastroc/soleus etc…).
Everything in this video is spot on!!! I’m totally sharing the heck out of this and love/respect what you said about social media, supporting each other vs trolling and how we’re constantly learning. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏽💪🏽🤗

I’ve focused on my health and fitness this past year because I hit a wall in my life. I’m late to the game - I’m 42, mom of four, frail parents and a demanding job in healthcare have kept me really busy - too busy for myself. So this past year has been learning to focus on me and not just everyone but me. Lifting weights has been the best. I feel better, stronger and more confident. And yes I look better than I have in a long time, which is a nice side effect. Krissy, your tips have been extraordinary. They have literally changed my workout game. You get one shot at life and I’m learning how to make mine more meaningful.

11:54 your emphasis on this point makes me wanna cry - I have been so hard on myself over the years... even slight things I think I did wrong, if I think/know people may have seen it, I go home and cringe so hard... It's sad how we abuse ourselves like that, y'know? But hearing YOU of all people tell us this, I really get it. I think out of all the things you have taught me, it is that it's a journey and that it takes time and there are so many components to health, including the mental health aspect. Who cares what anyone else thinks, we have to keep striving to get to that place where we care more for our own self-compassionate, loving, kind journey than the judgments of others and our internalised abuser(s). I am deeply grateful for all your teachings, thanks once again.

For the leg press a good tip is to try and hold the weight when it's all the way down for about a second.
For the squat tip, a better idea to make sure everything is rigid and tight, including your feet should be rooted to the ground, then when you come up use your back to drive up the bar at the same time as your legs are pushing off the ground.

I really appreciate hearing from you that it is okay that nobody's perfect at fitness and training and that we all are still learning everyday. Even though I have always been really active, I am totally new at all of this and I have some troubles especially since I do not have a personal trainer. What you said on this video was very motivating and made me feel good, so thank you for that.

I am soooooo GLAD BEYOND GRATEFUL in finding your videos!!!!!
I have experience in lifting weights.. after I became a mom that became a full time job (5 years ago)... to where it's taken me up until NOW!
I must say I felt intimated.. I gained so much weight etc... I felt like I didn't belong in the gym anymore 🥺
Finally I built more confidence since I recently lost weight!
I find these videos extremely HELPFUL!!!!!
THANK YOU!!! For helping me get better with my form.. and knowing what to do the next time I go to the gym!! 🤗🙏🏼

I hardly ever see warming up and cooling down in the gym. I used to skip warming up and stretching sometimes and I ended up with an injury. I learned my lesson! I'll never skip those again.

I started my journey 4 months ago and I NEEDED THIS. I’m grateful that your channel popped up on my suggestions. I’ve been feeling so down and out with fitness, no weight progression if anything Im gaining weight but I am getting so much stronger. I was thinking of stopping the journey today with the mindset of “eh nothings happening so whats the point”. It hit me when you said about how your journeys your own and cant really compare. Ive been comparing myself to other people thats lost a stone in less that 6 months and I really shouldnt. I needed to hear that. If it takes me till I die to reach my goal I SHALL KEEP GOING hehe thank you so much💕

Thank you Krissy for these tips and for having a beautiful soul. looking forward to remember and implement these in my workout.
I have tried gym, varied HIIT classes etc. But I started hurting my back and kness, and didn’t see any good results for my glutes.. i have to say the trainers were lovely and really helpful.
But I finally started home workout to listen and work around how my body is responding.. i hope 🤞🏻 your tips will help be correct and improve my postures.

Being a 66 y/o female, with bad knees, who's dropped her bmi from 43 to 21, I unfortunately cannot do any involving squats. Darn it! Appreciate any other tips for developing glutes that don't involve over extending the knees. Thanks for all the excellent tips and instruction.

I have heard, that leg extensions is one exercise to now avoid, as it injures the knee.
Similar to how many other exercises are now abandoned. Some examples are: upright rows, tricep dips, behind the neck presses and behind the neck pull downs.

The medicine ball helps slacken rectus femoris (one of your quads) since it crosses the hip joint. Really good tip for people who have tightness/px in the front of their hips who are trying to blow up their quads.

I ended up here because it was a recommended view after a Bret Contreras video. Watched the whole video and immediately subscribed. Some amazing tips! Definitely will try the med ball on leg extensions. Your blurb about lifting each other up in the gym was truly inspiring and reminds me of the passion behind so much of what we (fitness enthusiasts) do. We’re here to build each other up, and you worded that perfectly. Also, the thing about warming up full body because of potential strain on upper body muscles even during leg exercises is REAL. I have a gym friend who has a messed up labrum because she racked her heavy squat unevenly, and that has hindered her workouts for at least six months and caused her to have to go to physical therapy. That’s a great tip/reminder! Instant fan.
