another option for hip abduction could be skating (roller or ice). Its not as high of hypertrophy stimulus but it helped me learn how to use my upper glutes better and that translates to resistance training

Thank you very much for your generosity and a good tutorial. I suffered right ankle fracture treated with plaster cast in 2022 . Since then I developed weakness of my right lower limb. I am diabetic and hypertensive and have little cardiac ischemia. I find it difficult to walk more than 1km due pain in both calves and all of my left lower limb including hip. My right glutes atrophied than the left. Doing some exercises but not improving much. Can you please suggest something specific for me . I am 60 years old.

Hey E3 Rehab, great work as always.
What are the biggest muscles in the upper and lower body?
    Lats vs. delts?
    Quads vs. glutes?

I was gifted with a bubble butt way before it was trendy. However bubbly, it is still not defying aging or sitting too much. My challenge is that my inferior glute max is difficult to engage or train. Every time I try isolated glute max exercises I still can see that the superior glute max is doing most of the work. My quads and hammies are also naturally developed enough for my preference. Any tips on isolating inferior glute max or is this just the way I was built?
