Looking lovely naill. Im not a lover of yellow flowers but in the spring i seem to tolerate them more. Loving the deep tulips with the blue of native bluebells. Always love to see what youre getting up too
Garden looking lovely, dont forget the black berries the berberis have during the winter blackbirds love them. Crab apple use some to make jelly beautiful bright red and tastes like strawberry .I plant leeks and onions in my flower garden and let them grow seed heads and harvest them for next years seeds. Another great shrub is Mahonia Charity blooms in winter tough as old boots and easy to propagate .Echinops another great plant for out of the way places bees love it. Had to chuckle yellow not your favourite colour and you wearing yellow top .love your channel
Ah cool! We have Echinops in the front garden! We have a HUGE mahonia and actually I made a video a few years ago all about it! ua-cam.com/video/vdewhPtm9xg/v-deo.html
Niall is your home, definitely your happy place. I'm so happy that you are so happy with your growing space. Remember, we are guests among the weeds. We must accept that, the insects and bees love it,I just know your garden is an adventure land for wildlife and insects and the likes. I'm so proud of the work you have done and the caretaker you have become taking on the garden you inherited from previous owners. I hope they see what you have done. BTW I do love your wedding cake tree, always have since you first showed it. Best of luck with the brassicas,I have great faith in your success with them. Thanks for a great video. Let's take a minute to appreciate the fantastic camera work and editing too by you, Niall. ❤❤

Really enjoyed the video. 👍 The Berberis was my favourite 😅 You can tell you really love your garden. As the years have gone on I've come to enjoy some of the weeds too like buttercups. Have a great season.
Like the way you are mixing things up in your guild garden similar to the way I've always done it. I tell myself as long as thing are within crisp beds its organized Kaos which I can easily live with.
@@niallgardens You’re very welcome! Yes thanks, all good with me. Enjoying two straight days of sunshine. A rarity for Northern Ireland as you know lol😂 Hope you have a great week. X

Wow Niall, everything looks so beautiful! I wish I could see the bulb flowers at the veg garden and the shocking orange tree for longer time and from different angles 😊❤! The pond is also looking very nice. Please post more videos. Thanks
Good morning Niall and gardening pals, cool day here but fine, lovely video your garden looking very colourful and lush, the orange Berberis is beautiful,I've got a carpet of forget me nots bottom of the garden originally were my dad's, also bluebells and his bright red tulips look gorgeous, think of him so much. My new tulips are doing well bought last year, pale pink striped ones, deep burgundy and green and pink striped very pretty, our oldest granddaughter 17 loves tulips, she passed her theory driving test yesterday,so proud of her 😊. Thanks for a tour round looking very colourful,I've not set any seeds yet,it's been so cold and windy and lots of very wet days. I've had two camelia plants bought me,a pink one and a white one still in pots bought for my birthday, will they be ok in the pots for a bit till I find a space for them,I know they can grow quite big,but I haven't the room so want to keep them small, will I be ok to cut them back and when do you do it. Thanks I'm off to church in a bit, happy gardening bye till next time 😊🌷🌷x
Hi Hazel! Happy Sunday! Glad you liked the video. You're growing a lot of the same things as myself here. Well done to your granddaughter - that's brilliant news! So, I have to be honest and say that I have no real experience with Camelias. But my general advice would be that if you're going to keep them in a pot for a while, try and get them planted into a good big pot so that at least they have some room to grow. Also you can get specific composts designed for camellias, rhododendrons, etc... so use that if possible. Hope this helps!
@@niallgardens Thanks Niall,I'll try that and hope for the best. I'll keep you posted, and hope I have success with them both. Why is that tree called a wedding cake tree,it's very pretty . Take care till next time happy gardening.😊xx
Gorgeous garden tour. Black Hero Tulips will definitely be on my list this autumn. I am now back from holiday and the seed sowing fest has begun!! I feel so much better. Just waiting for the miracle of growth to happen.
First I'd say get them 'in the green' because it makes them easier to plant, but also ensures that they're alive when you do plant them. Small bulbs can easily dry out otherwise. Also think about the conditions they like and try and replicate that... think forest floor so lots of leaf mould and organic matter. Hope this helps!
“I can easily do a whole video” on the green house. Ok let’s have it then 🙌🏻
I might just do it then!
Spring time is the most colorful and brighest pastel time of the year and your garden is a marvelous example to that. Thank you for sharing ,
Thank you! You’re welcome!

Hi Niall love the greenhouse where is it from please?
It's from Vitavia. It's a fantastic space and I'm delighted with it!
Happy April Niall!
Happy April to you too!
Any shrubs I'm not overly fond of when not in flower, I grow a clematis through it 😊👍
It's a great plan!
Hi ,
I wanted to grow tulip outside my home. Plz suggest me how to grow them in this May.
I dont have any tulip seeds sown till now.
Yaaay!
Thanks Malin!!
Wonderful. Thanks for the video. I want to establish Bluebells in our garden as well. Any top tips?

@@niallgardens wonderful. Many thanks. This is really helpful
I’m sure you have this in another video but can you please remind me what type of greenhouse is that you went with? Thank you!
Sure thing! It's made by Vitavia and the model is the 'Sirius'
Thank you!
OMG! stop with this owersaturation... it looks discusting...
…nothing worse than something being discusting 😂
