Tell me you're gay without telling me you're gay, that shirt says it all
Nice Input mine outside in the soil and in planters but I also got the idea from you to put them in water and pebbles. I have several glass containers that are perfect for it. Thank you!
I enjoyed watching your video, and I agree when it comes to choosing grass or gravel I am going with gravel. I just hope that I can find some on sale. Which is not so expensive. You are a great help. Thank you.
Super ❤❤❤❤ very Best Garden ❤❤❤❤❤
Waste my time watching this video I love mines
Good morning, Niall, sending you hugs from South Carolina!! Hoping you are doing well. Thank you for sharing your love of planting!!
I wonder if it also reduces bugs. 🤔
Wonderful! Fruit tree guilds in such a small space. You've given me hope. Would you be so kind as to tell me the measurements of your raised beds? Many thanks for the video.😊
Very nice! Easy how to get it done. Easy to understand you. Thank you so very much. Planting my bulbs now. Thank you❤
Compost? You mean potting soil. But I guess the Brit’s call it compost.
Looking forward to your gardening videos, just subscribed. Your audio and video quality are excellent.
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
For those in colder climates, hard neck garlic is the only way. I will enjoy watching your Elephant garlic grow there though. 🙂 I'm planting my first garlic this week.
Love it, mate ❤. I hope you are well 😊
Hi Niall, can one grow Mahonia in large pots?
Beautiful Allium. Thanks for all the great ideas. Enjoy your week.
Thank you! You too Donna!
Thank you for the video. Just wondering where to get seeds this time of year - any recommendations for on-line suppliers please?
Yeah for sure! I use a company called Seeds Ireland and can highly recommend them
Great video. Wow that’s an expensive piece of equipment - one for people with big gardens me thinks. I continue to love these what to grow videos 😊
Thanks for watching! Yeah it's a fantastic piece of kit for the garden here - I think it's brilliant!
Great that you showed a limbed up mahonia. I have one and I didn't know whether to limb it up or cut it back. Seeing yours, I have decided to leave it to grow and limb it up later. 👍👍
Glad it was helpful! Delighted you got a useful nugget of info!
Putting in spring bulbs. Daffs, tulips and small irises. ( central Indiana zone 5)
Sounds fantastic Becky!
Good Morning Niall 🙂
Good morning to you too!
I didn't realise you had to blanch beans I just put them in freezer bags and straight in freezer. Never had a problem. What is the purpose of blanching please?
Hi Vanessa! It's actually just a personal choice rather than a requirement you'll be glad to hear - I do it because it tends to preserve the colour and flavour just that little bit more
@@niallgardens Thanks,next time I'll give it a go😀
GMorning Niall. Daylight Savings Time here. . . Enjoyed the video. I grew Garlic Chives in the garden. I loved the smell - the leaves - the flower. They looked great in small & large clay pots. EASY!!! Loved the metro allium - a show stopper!!! Stay Safe All Niall Gardners!!! ☘️
Hi Susan! We're the same - the clocks went back last Sunday. I have garlic chives and really love them! They're beautiful!!
Sorry on the typo. The Allium Nectaroscordum. Beautiful. Show stopper! ❤
Niall, What hoodie are you wearing, I really it, I want to buy one.
Ha! It's a hoodie from Gap that I got in a sale!
Love your videos very informative. Do you have any advice on Rubarb how to look after it in winter time. I also heard you have to split the root when do you need to do this .
Hi Geraldine - you'll only need to split the root if you're looking to divide and multiply it. Otherwise it'll be fine as-is. For winter, rhubarb is really pretty tolerant, so I tend to leave mine alone. However, for a bit of extra protection, you could cover it with a mulch
I always gasp with excitement when I see your new videos come out. Thank you for such excellent content. This month, I am growing the Sir Winston Churchill bulbs you discussed last time and a selection of ground cover in some shady areas - just to make them look more lush. Take care, DA
Ah thanks Donald! Yay!!! That's so cool that you're growing the Sir Winston Churchill daffodils - they are my firm favourite!
I need flowers that are dog safe as have a few young puppies and can’t separate them from the flowers…. Is there anything that’s safe? Since I’ve moved into my new property I’ve had to dig up most of the plants as the puppies are interested in the smells etc and nibble on bits, don’t want a sick dog.
It sounds like a cop-out on my part, but that’s something to google when it comes to each plant. However, as far as I’m aware, if you go to the RHS website, their plant finder includes details of toxicity and animal safety so that should help you
What are you growing this month! Let's get sharing!
Sorry hadn't been on,only catching up. Planted tulips. Have purple sprouting broccoli in for the winter.
I tried the alcohol method. My paperwhites now go with me to AA meetings
😂😂😂
Hi Niall, hope you're well. At last I've planted my narscisus/daffodil bulbs hope they'll come up ok. Been quite mild lately so soil was nice, and pulled most of bedding plants up, looks so bare now. Hope everything is ok with your garden and extension, take care bye for now ,happy gardening 😊x🌼🌻
Hi Hazel! That’s so good you’ve got them planted - I’m still going with mine!!!
@@niallgardens still got your Sunday vlog to watch I'll catch up soon. Our grass is so wet and long, can't get it cut 😔,take care xx
@hazelmanship7516 Oh cool! Hopefully you enjoy it!
what a fabulous idea ..I actually bought one ..and it is good ..but trying to find enough to fill it is a problem .the smaller version you should is ingenious
Thanks very much!
Hi I all ready done that with different bulbs in From caroline
