Absolutely gorgeous garden. You have worked so hard. I love the variety of special plants you grow.The pink display by your door entrance is gorgeous. I wish I had a larger garden- my dream has always been to have a magical mini woodland planted with Jacquemontii and carpeted with bluebells and a meandering pathway. Maybe highlighted with the odd white rhododendron. I love Sappho. Happy gardening. 🙂 x

Thank you so much for showing your Homebush again. I saw this for the first time ever in your video last May and asked you about it recently. I couldnt believe when only yesterday i went to my local garden centre and saw one (just one - i felt so lucky) for sale which i snapped up. Thank you Rachel
How wonderful that you managed to source your own 'Homebush' but I think it is often the way. When we have a list in our minds, we are so much more likely to spot those things. Hello, Rachel. Ive just started viewing your channel again. I took a hiatus because my dear husband, Graham Bernard Thomas Duggan, who used to watch with me, has passed on to the other side. He enjoyed your show. His father was Irish and we always planned to ctoss the pond and tour your beautiful country but it was not to be. I hope to fo so one day. For now, i will continue to watch your videos and enjoy seeing your lovely garden!
I am so sorry to hear about your husband Graham. It can be hard to do the things you did together after a loved one passes on. But then, everything reminds us always anyway. I am sure Graham wants you to do the things that make you happy even when he is no longer here with you. Hugs.
Graham bought me the Master Gardener's program for my last birthday gift. I've just done a three month course, all the assignments, and the exam. It was hard because my Graham had just passed but I knew he would want me to continue. I did it for him as well as myself. I've passed the course and will join our Master Gardeners Association! His gift to me is saving my life! ❤

Hi Rachel, your garden is gorgeous as usual. Thanks for information about Hellabores. I never thought they could choke the original plants. I always allow my to self sow. I wonder now if I should thin them out. Thank you again for your wonderful channel. I learn so much!
Thank you so much and, yes, I would thin out or transplant hellebore seedlings if you want more. If you do pot them up, make sure to include some of the original earth. They don't appreciate compost on its own. Hope this helps.

King George has been on my wish list for a long time. As you're in the UK, you might consider a spring order from Glendoick, which is not an option for me since Brexit. Thanks for watching and great to hear from you, Mary.

Ah listen, I have no idea how a birch would behave in sunny Italy! They do root quite shallowly so I imagine drought would affect them badly. Sorry to not be of more help.
Hi Rachel, thank you for the tour- what a beautiful garden you have! I planted my Rhododendron ‘Etoile de Sleidinger’ last year & although it’s now covered in leaf buds, it only has one flower bud so far. I didn’t give it any feed so do you think that could be the reason? Will be sure to buy some specific food for it & my Camellia next year if so. Thanks xx
I wouldn't worry. Plants often skip a flowering or have a shoddy first flowering when newly planted. It should be back on track by next spring if it is healthy, although I'm sure it is disappointing for you all the same.

how very strange YT is sometimes. If you hadn't posted to IG that you put out this video, I wouldn't have seen it. It didn't show as a new video on my subs list, it wasn't on my recommended, I had to click the videos tab from your homepage to get to it. So my apologies for the late view.
April and May are a special time in the temperate garden. Things wake up, you're ready for new plantings and there's the anticipation of what is to come.
Unfortunately I think I've messed with the UA-cam algorithm this time round. I published the video early by mistake and then unpublished it and republished it yesterday (at the right time). Views are right down as it seems subscribers haven't been notified. I won't do that again, that's for sure.🤔

Ooh those Rhodies are stunning…and I love the little double primroses. When you were walking to the 2 Viburnums you passed a clump of tall blackish plants, were they Millet? Really showy. Your garden is just lovely, thank you for sharing it with us! 🤗🌷🌼

I don't get where rhododendrons get off blooming ONCE per year. I'm glad I live in an area where azaleas will give a spring and fall show -- but fall is never as good as spring.
Wow, lucky you. Most trees and bushes flower just once a year so you are lucky indeed.
