      Edit: Nevermind I went for the Black one before the campaign ended :)
      Thanks a lot! One additional question would be, what do you think about the black color version? (I saw that you already tested the black Able Carry Daily and I guess the black XPAC will be the same) - do you think it is more prone to pick up wear marks/signs of usage compared to the green one?

      Thank you for watching and good question! Even tho the bag is larger than a typical edc bag personally I feel like the straps and back panel offer enough support to keep it comfortable although the option add a waist belt would have been a cool bonus feature!

    Hello traveling Salseros,
    your reviews are great, very detailed, really well done keep it up.
    I would like to buy an EDC but I have a big confusion about these models Able Carry Max, Evergoods Civic Panel Loader (CPL28) V2, Aer Travel Pack 2 Small, they are all great and each have unique features, they have strengths and weaknesses, some are simpler in organization and in the way you store your accessories, even the materials these backpacks are made of are different even if they are all very resistant.
    A video comparison would be wonderful to highlight the differences between them, various everyday use cases, a suggestion on some accessories to integrate with them such as the Evergoods Civic Access Pouch 2 L or similar.
    I go a long way and having a very comfortable backpack is important, arriving at the office with a wet back is not beautiful and professional, I think this feature is important.
    I await your review with curiosity, if it were not possible I would very much like to know how to choose the right backpack for my needs, the alternative would be to buy all 3 backpacks but they cost too much to do the experiment that's why I need the your help ... come on please help me i think many would like this comparison :)

    Thank you Traveling Salseros for the excellent review. Your reviews are detailed, thoughtful, funny and, most importantly, informative! Keep up the good work brother! I am torn between getting the blue, black or green version of the bag. Any suggestions on what color to choose. Also, I have two laptops, one 15 inch macbook and one 13 inch macbook. Do you think a 15 inch macbook in a Tom Bihn laptop sleeve with a 13 inch macbook fit comfortably and, above all, safely in the laptop compartment? Thanks.

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I really appreciate the support! For the color that’s tough, I am definitely biased as I normally prefer black bags but I think it looks pretty cool in the olive as well (might also depend the color of clothes you like to wear most often). For the laptops the compartment should be able to hold the 15 in in the sleeve but it might get a little tight with the Tom bihn case. I think both could probably fit, but it wouldnt leave you much space ik the compartment and I don’t think the second laptop would fit in the elastic sleeve that’s in front of the suspended laptop sleeve. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)

Since you are familiar with the ones we have it narrowed to, which would you choose if you were off to college: Thule 32L Crossover, this, Rainmaker, Tortuga ? (comfort, capacity are main goals)

    How does this compare to the Synik 30 in capacity? If you were to pack the same amount of items in both, which one seems to allow more room? I currently own the Peak Design Travel bag and wanted to go a tad smaller in size. So far I’m debating between the Able Max and Synik 30 Aesthetics wise, I prefer the Able. Wondering if the front pocket of the able carries the same amount or more than the Synik’s front pockets. How does the main compartment compare between the two? Thanks!

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice between the two! Overall I would say this one can hold a little bit more than the Synik but it also feels larger so it won’t work as well for daily carry. The main compartment of this one feels like it can hold more as it’s a pretty bucket of space but the front pockets on the Synik feel like they can hold more. This one is also a little more comfortable in my opinion and has a better laptop sleeve. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags!:)

    Hey! Any thoughts on CPL 28 vs. Able Carry Max? I'm debating between the two. Which one would you go with and why?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you for watching and tough choice! Haha both bags are really awesome, overall I prefer the able carry max a bit more as I think it’s a little more comfortable, has better weather resistance and I like the pocket layout a bit more. With that being said I do think it is a little too big so if I was going for something that could work as an edc bag than the CPL28 would be my choice. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags!:)

    Hi Danny. Have you used the more recently updated version of the CPL28? If so, do you still prefer the able carry max harness system to that of the CPL?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  Рік тому +1

      Thank you for watching! I haven’t had a chance to try out the new version unfortunately, but based on my experience with the CTB35 and CHZ22 I would still lean slightly towards the harness on the max (just feels a little more padded and breathable still although I do really like how the evergoods bags contour around the shoulders so it will likely depend on your overall preferences)

    Hi. I enjoyed this review. I’m looking for a new bag. Currently running a rush 12. I like the rush because of the organizational options. I’m looking for something of a fair sized edc. Work. Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! Definitely a tough choice between the two, although I prefer the size of the CPL28 and I like the pocket layout, overall I like the Max a little better because I prefer the straps and back panel, I like the fact it has a water bottle pocket and the materials also feel a little bit more weather resistant. Hope that helps and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags!:)

      @@dannypacks hmmm, I’m finding a bag too for a larger edc usage or a short weekend trip, which usually it would be used as a larger edc usage sometimes which allows me to put in larger items, which bag would be better in that case? For me, as I already have a very small day pack and an osprey radial for city trips, I find this pack and the travel pack 2 small (28L) be almost the same size (because of the water bottle compartment, the Aer actually feels like a slightly larger capacity than 28L). I sometimes don’t use the osprey because of its shape which is not good for putting it aside and keep less space.
      Coming back to the Aer travel pack 2 small and the able carry max, which would be a better edc pack in this case which sometimes I hope it would be easy to access on the road, at least easy to access something like AirPods or tissue (this is terribly awkward when you suddenly sneezes very hard and couldn’t grab that tissue asap). For me I use a 16inch laptop, maybe a tablet and a keyboard and a mx master 3 if needed, I would also pack all tech stuff needed in just an Aer slim tech pouch. If for a weekend travel I would also bring a towel and a peek design wash pouch. I don’t think that’s a huge amount of stuff to put in, in this case, which would be a better option to store my stuff?
      When it comes to the materials, I also don’t have much of a preference and the Aer travel pack 2 small doesn’t have a compression strap which also isn’t an issue.
      Sorry to such a long piece of words, I would just like to ask because I believe that buying a bag while just seeing it in a store just doesn’t makes me feel secure, because it comes to varies aspects where the bag feels convenient and easy to use which is that using experience, I’ve never used any packs neither from Aer nor Able Carry so I’m not quite sure which pack fits me and their user experience, something like does it feel easy and seemless to use.

    • @dannypacks

    Hi friend! Greetings from Brazil. I have a NTF Borealis and for me is a sweet spot for minimal travel and the size limit too. The 2lts of a Able Carry Max seems much bigger than that?

    • @dannypacks
      @dannypacks  2 роки тому

      Thank you for watching! I would say the 2 additional liters does add a good amount of extra packing space and height to the bag (making just a little too big for daily use IMO) and I agree the Borealis really hits a nice sweet spot for travel and edc!:)
