I think I’ll go with the 22L version from your other video. The way that the zippers to the main and side compartments on both bags made me make the decision for the 22L the correct one based on my needs. Thanks for the detailed videos
This is a great Video. I really think you hit all the best travel bags on the market. I like that you showed what makes them great and unique from each other. Keep up the great work!
I know it falls under the 200 mark, but I think the Osprey Farpoint is an awesome pack for One Bag Travel, that has a good harness system, and is very minimal.
Thank you for covering all of these great bags! I held my nose when I first ordered a Synik 30, but I trused the greater community on how great that it is. When I opened it, I loved the color, but it was as flast as a pancake, and I thought I had made a big mistake. After a few months of use, it has become my favorite bag!
@@brochgThey are shipping, but the shipping company they are working with was so expensive and having as well to pay local taxes and commission (on these taxes) to the shipping company is adding almost 150 USD on a Synik backpack. This extra cost is usually limited to 20-30 USD when working with an European shop.
Hey Danny. Thanks for the video. One suggestion. While you’re reviewing a bag, if you could put a banner on the bottom that tells which bag you’re talking about- the entire video length. I like to “screenshot” things I am interested in and the name of the bag always in the screen would help. I hope this is helpful. Thanks, Dean
Hi Danny, Nice video! Can’t believe I have 7 out of the 10 packs you mentioned here. Missing the Goruck GR2, Apaka Element, and Tom Bihn Synik 30. I would add the Heimplanet Transit 34l, Moment new Weekender 28l, Matador Globerider 45l, and Wandrd Prvke 41l. Both Heimplanet and Moment have been understated and I used them more than I thought I would have expected. Wandrd is missing load lifters but have comfortable shoulder straps. Evergoods CTB 35l and PD packs have bad shoulder straps that start to dig in when the load out is heavy and walking in international airports terminals that are super long. PD is the worst and deep inside my storage of many packs. They should fix this in the v2. Otherwise well made with good organizations.
Thank you for watching and sounds like you have a pretty awesome lineup! Good call outs on the matador and moment bags, hoping to feature them on the channel soon as well!:)
I'm absolutely stuck between the AER TP3, Tortuga, and GR2 for long-term one bag travel. You're reviews are so good, you sold all three to me. Any thoughts?
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice between the 3! A couple of things to consider, the tortura opens like a suitcase vs the Goruck and aer bags which open more clamshell. Comfort wise I think tortura has the edge especially since you can adjust the harness height to what suits you best. Goruck will be the most rugged material wise but the other 2 are still really well built. Laptop protection is pretty good on all but I think aer is a little better than the other two. Besides that it comes down to packing style and which pocketing might suit you best
@@dannypacks Thanks Danny! I think I'm crossing the Goruck off my list due to weight and lack of comfort; now deciding between AER Ultra and Tortuga, but Pakt looks nice too. How has the Pakt V2 held up? If you had to pick one bag, what's your go to?
Great video as always. Nice. :) would love to see a future video perhaps covering smaller carry-ons for folks who like travelling with a checked luggage! Maybe something that can hold essentials on the plane and double as your day pack!
Thank you for watching! I’ve used them all quite a bit, all time probably the are travel pack 3 and goruck gr2, but recently I’ve been using the Pakt and CTB26 fairly regularly
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! Both are great overall, I think the ballistic nylon still feels a little more rugged and I like that it doesn’t have the orange interior, but if you want some additional weather resistance or you prefer the orange lining than the xpac is probably the way to go
i am wondering about osprey's tropos 32 as an EDC plus travel bag. not sure how to compare it with those in this list. any feedback is highly appreciated. thank you for your videos
I have this problem every time I travel, it seems I'm always having to walk like over a mile from the time I get off the plane to my destination. For me, if it's a 40L backpack, it better have a good hip belt system. Especially for the prices their asking for these. I've noticed a lot of these bags do not have them or have just a strap. That's not going to cut it for me.
Thank you for watching! Those are solid options as well, just edged out slightly by the ones on this list for my preferences but it’s my wife’s go to:)
Thank you for your time and posting. No backpack is worth over $200. After a certain price point, it's just a rip-off. "Near top of my list". For $250, it's still not fabulous. :)
Thanks for mentioning us, Danny!
Thank you for watching and for the support! The harness on the travel pack continues to be one of the best in the game!
I love myTortuga Lite 40L bag. It’s the closest thing out there to perfect for my needs. Well done!

Osprey's backpack's are great if you are going for that "broke college student who just got back from Europe" look...
Thank you for watching and I agree, another really solid option especially if people aren’t really sure where to start it’s a reliable option
I like this list, plus a list for personal sized bags!
Thank you for watching and definitely a great idea for a follow up video!

So bad Tom Bihn has no distributor in Europe…I would love to try one with a bright blue interior 😊
@@928ruf They won’t ship to you?

Great video bro! I use the Aer and Fjällräven gear; really interested in trying the Peak D and Pakt. :)
Thank you for watching and for the support!:)

I have the PD Travel Backpack and I NEVER used the waist strap, I need to figure out how to remove it heh.
Really looking for a review and how the Mystery Ranch Mission Rover would stack up to other one bag travel!
Thank you for watching! That looks like another solid option, haven’t had a chance to check it out yet but hoping to in the future
Will the alpaka fit under a plane seat as a personal item?

Which one would be the second most comfortable to wear other than the Tortuga?
Thank you for watching! I would lean towards the aer travel pack 3 and the pakt v2
Im really keen to get the travel pack. Would you recommend i get the x-pac over cordura nylon exterior??

Thank you for watching and definitely a fair point for bags of that size! Agree it would be good for them to include a real hip belt vs a simple strap
I love kislux that on the butterfly bag it says auguri / tanti auguri which means happy birthday
What about weight of the nags ?????
Combining elegance and luxury kislux

What abot Topo BackPacks, 30 L & 40 L ??????

I think Peak Design is wrong for photographers. There are far better options out there for photografers like f-stop or Nya Evo Fjord!
Thank you for watching and for the suggestions! I’ll have to check out some of those other brands!
Budget list?
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! Will definitely keep an eye out for a few good options so I can put together a list!
