Fog is so good. EDH all-star that no one expects.
Yep! I've been trying to find space for Obscuring Haze in Titania for awhile now.
No body expects Fog effects. Arachnogenesis and Batwing Brume are specially deadly when some smartass attacks with unlimited tokens.

I still only play them where they feel fitting. Asymmetrical fogs like Obscuring Haze are really fun in Fynn when somebody decides to block your deathtouchers.
I LOVE the fact that Brodie took most of the damage from himself rather than the whole table . Hope to see the list asap

My "level up" moment for gyome was when someone recommended Horobi, my mind was blown. You can play a really agreesive game with him that's backed up by a ton of lifegain and baked-in synergy when the board gets too clogged
As a fellow Okaun/Zndrsplt player, I can sympathize A LOT with Brodie failing that many coin flips, it happens to us way too often, even with the thumb out...
I love the fact that there was a dragon deck that went pretty much untouched the whole game. There was so much removal that just completed ignored the giant flying.
Diligent farmhand and it's relation to Muscle Burst is the weirdest text I've ever seen on a card. Absolutely wild
Muscle Burst was part of a whole cycle! But it and Flame Burst are the only ones that got boosted by other cards as well (Diligent Farmhand and Pardic Firecat).
@@Jonkmanful That's so crazy. I can understand the cycle, wotc does that a bit with the increasing value, but for other cards to reference and boost them just boggles mind.

@@jaidenharrison2963 It was because Odyssey was a graveyard focused set which was a relatively new idea at time, so they experimented with lots of designs to find ways to interact with cards in the graveyard.
But it also gave use staples like Flashback and Madness, so I'd say there was some payoff.
I really think Raf should have tutored for a board wipe on turn 8 or 9, yes Drew had a bunch of treasures but without Morophon on board he had no discounts and had to pay 9 for Tiamat.
I used to be the same way about plays on this channel. You've just got to realize this isnt cEDH and these aren't cEDH players.
Saying, "hey, maybe tutor to wipe the board so the dragon player doesn't keep punching us in the face for the 4th turn in a row on turn NINE" isn't telling people to make cEDh plays.
I think Brodie needs a new coin. That one is trying to kill him!
I respect Brodie for going balls to the wall always picking 5 flips.

Vrondiss could’ve made Dragon Spirit tokens when Drew rolled for the Chaos Dragon. It’s a may trigger though.
Awesome game! Featuring a coin flip deck with some bad luck, and a bear deck with almost no bears!
Still really fun to watch though haha

still getting a little confused to see that Drew didn't create the Dragon Spirit tokens from the dice roll (because of Vrondiss second ability) but even then, it was an amazing game
Also why they didn't kill everyone else much sooner
Not that it affected the end result, but Drew missed all of her Vrondiss triggers (Whenever she rolls a dice she can deal 1 damage to him, creating a 5/4 dragon spirit).
I cannot wait to see Brodies list. Looks like a really fun deck
Brodie's deck seems to be really hating him today. Krark trolling that Reshape, Yusri failing 80% of the flips...
To be fair he could of played the reshape first. Seemed more like bad sequencing to me

I always love coin watching coin flip decks but I would personally love to see more of Drew’s deck.
I love seeing Tiamat work just about the same as it does on Arena as it does in paper magic: put out Old Gnawbone and create a ton of treasures
I love Tiamat and Urdragon decks. I always want to make one but the price point for any of the decent dragons are so discouraging.

I made a Ramos Rakdos dragon tribal most of the dragons are under a dollar or 30 cents it's the fixing and utility cards that can get up there if you want to avoid taplands. But the ramp is so much cheaper than the lands so I'd go that route. Everyone deserves to play with overcosted cmc wise dragons hope you can too ( :
I personally decided to build Tiamat dragon tribal, and it's really fun. A lot of fixing to do, but once it gets going, it goes extremely hard
how poetic is the amount of time added by coin flips and freaking bears durdling. Only for the camera to die, and fog to be the decider lol.

As a die hard ocaun and zindersplit player this video made me very happy
i really enjoyed seeing this lower power game where there wasnt one player who played a dumb value deck (naming no names but Muldrotha, Yarok, etc)

I'm rebuilding my Okaun//Zndrsplt deck. But mines about copy spells and extra combats to buff Okaun and throw him at everyone Voltron style. I didn't have any coin flip cards in the deck, didn't need em though. My record was making Okaun 15'000 power with trample with no infinites.
I have the same sleeves as raff and I love them for my ur dragon deck
i feel like casting Krark before the reshape was a misplay. The thumb is so important to a coin flip deck that the upside of potentially getting another copy of reshape to grab something like a sol ring was not worth the downside of whiffing, not getting the thumb and losing the artifact that was sacced to cast it.

mazirek just stopped the gnawbone treasure rampage, raf would get 4 +1/+1 counters for each sacrificed treasure.

Drew should of had three more "dragons" since Vorondis was out on the field and there were at least three dice roll from the chaos dragon.
Oof. Sometimes the coin is not on your side. But it really looked like Brodie was about to turn things around until the Scourge came out.
coin flipping decks are cool and all but I bet they get real old to face eventually, lots and lots of coin flipping and tracking

I can relate to that bear deck...
It either goes really fast in the beginning IF YOU HIT BEARS. Or you are dead around turn 6.
I played the deck like 10 times and won only once with it XD. Recasting that commander like 3 to 4 times each game. Still a cool commander though!
What was the Art on Raf's playmate?
I own 2 versions of Zndrsplt | Okaun, a jank one, its hilarious the bad cards you play for the coin flip, and cedh one (the good coin flip cards + blue red shell).
I flipped lots of coins, i can say that this game is one of those unlucky ones, even at the end, he coulda found chandra ingnition and win right there , but its part of the deck. Other games are the lucky ones and the deck is so un fair.
Tiamat isnt bad but once shes on board shes kinda underwhelming. Could have used indestructable or something

brodies deck was fun to see, and i know this is a low power game but holy shit, youre still allowed to play removal lmao so hard to watch past the halfway point
People put removal into their decks., but you do need to draw it to use it.

I'm just at 5:08 but afaik: The extraplanar lens double's every forest at the board. So even for Raf and Brodie.
Its not doubling theirs because they don't have snow forests, so they have different names when the lens sees them
