► 10 THINGS about Brazil that surprised us : bit.ly/2TNumIP
Loved your video, meanly because I was born and lived in Rio all my life (ain't that lucky?) A pity you had few time to really explore our city. Rio de Janeiro is much bigger than many european or american cities. We have the biggest single florestal park inside a city in the world!!!! Tijuca Florest National Park is huge. There are even living onças (pumas) moving free inside the Park, amongst other wild animals. They are very shy so they don't come close to humans. In other park at Barra da Tijuca, on the west part of Rio, there are marshes with living jacarés (a kind of alligator) moving free by the streets. People there are so accostumed they don't even pay attention. In a street on Flamengo there are groups of monkeys living on tree tops that enters the buindings to steal food (mostly fruits or candys). On the other corner of Copacabana there are tucanos and papagaios flying free. Have you seen our City aquarium, the Aqua Rio? Could you take a helicopter fligt over the city? Have you been on a samba night club? There are many things to do here in Rio. Hope you come back.
Greetings from Brasil
Brazil is so high on my list! Amazing videos guys!
Thank you Chris ! Brazil is well worth visiting !:)
Huh, I thought this comment would already be packed full of Brazilians replying.
Brazilians tend to just flat out SPAM comment sections of any video talking about us because we absolutely love to talk about it with foreigners.
Definitely come. It's a one of a kind experience due to the culture born out of almost every other culture mixing themselves together through a history of xenophilia (not xenophobia) and it shows. People here LOVE foreigners.
@@vitre69 we sure do!! I don't know why hahahaha
But I think brazilians haven't discovered this channel yet... Wait until they do
@@LucasRNSilva Brazilian here! hhahaha
You def should come, man! Take a look at my videos and you'll see there's just so much more than Rio in Brazil!
It's funny and amazing watching people coming to my home country and state... it's interesting to see how foreign people see things differently from us natives.
Dificil achar nego que nem tu que fala ingles ne mano
That's i thougt, it opened my eyes in a way...
it´s because only us know how things in Brazil can be from worse to best in a few minutes.
Brazil is a great country, i´m From Natal. You guys that come to my homeland, be ready to have the best time of your lives, and take care to not have the worst. Greetings.
Im Brazilian, so I wanna say you , thank you so much ! For show my country thank you so much
This is a really cool video. Reminds me of some of the things I have done in Brazil. Beautiful sunset. Thx!
Its a beautiful place!
Come back!!!
Magnificicant video of Brazil! I just subscribed because it gave me a LOT of useful infor about going to Rio De Janeiro! Spectacular views of the city and represents the country well. I was planning to go to Brazil this year after looking to go to Nigeria, Benin, Togo, and Ghana, but the pandemic has made me push those countries into 2021. I was looking to go to Brazil in 2021 (maybe later in the year?), but I plan on going. I'm working hard to learn as much Brazilian Portugese as possible, so I can be better prepared when I get out there. Thank you for this video!
Come to other states too! Rio is just a tiny place here!

I'm Brazilian, living in Switzerland for almost one year now, thank u guys so much for the video, I could actually smell the beach and the food, I've seen a lot of beautiful countries, but there's nothing like Brazil ⭐
Great video, Brazilian food is one of my most favorite cuisine’s. Was it hard getting around Rio not knowing Portuguese or did it a lot of people speaks English there?
especially at rio or sao paulo some people speaks english, but in Brazil as a whole country the people doesnt at all....however everybody is very friendly and probabily would try to help you anyway
In big touristic points u'll prolly find english speakers, but if u need to comunicate and can't find any english speaker try to gesture with your hands or speak spanish (even though we speak portuguese, spanish could work since it is a similar language in many aspects). People are nice and will try to help you anyway.
Michael Danger Dobbs you could use google translator too
Lobão da Silva Yep I have that on my phone When I travel I do try to learn the language is going to and how proficient they are in English dictates how much time I spend in the language.
CaRIOcou rápido, o Rio é tão relax q é difícil não se adaptar.
Been living in Rio for two years love it, mountains, beach, training, surfing, cupuacu and tropical fruits, adventure, all I need, far away from all the fakery in the world.

Keep posting, it helps to rase the social distancing!
Aww we hope it does help!
I was supposed to be there in April
You should go again when it opens!

I'm brazilian and feijoada is not actually a sauce... it's a typical recipe and people usually eat it with rice, just like that popular meal
And the song at 10:56 is "Tarde em Itapuã", by Toquinho
Great choice to stay near the beach
Had to! We are heading to the beach again soon haha
Wow,,i am very happy ,, you visited my country ,, i would like to meet all too. thank you
We wish we could stay longer in Brazil ! The country is so diverse !:)
Ive just cryed during the sunrise
Brazil is too big, Rio is just a tiny part of it. I wonder how you would've felt had you had the opportunity to visit other Brazilian states. I've been in almost all Brazilian states and it's a life changing experience. It also makes you look at Rio as just a commonplace destination.
We have so much to see!
@@DivertLiving Hope you have the opportunity to. You're gonna experience so many great things, if you do. Rio is a nice starting point but definitely just a small glimpse of Brazil. Best wishes to you both. 🙂✌🏻
Cant agree more.. Brazil is huge and theres lot of epics, gorgeous place to visit, last time i traveled around I went to NATAL - praia da pipa, and I loved everything.
But have you been to Acre though?😂
Rio looks amazing. I hope I can go there some day.
Its really an amazing place!
Come to other states too! Every state here have a special thing. Rio is the nature, São Paulo are the buildings, Bahia are the beaches, Brasília (the capital) is the architecture. So wherever you go, you will fall in love 💕
I laughed when the guy said TIM was the best phone service, I had TIM and it never worked when I needed hahahaha, personally I prefer VIVO, if u guys ever come back to Brasil u should try. Also don't do only Rio - São Paulo, try Bahia and Minas as well, those states have the best and cheapest food in Brasil. Here as a fell nice places to visit:
- Belo Horizonte : capital of minas, really good night life bcz the city has the largest amount of bars per person in Brasil, lots of historical buildings.
- Monte Verde : small nice city in Minas, usually colder than other places and really nice food, especially fondue, really good place to enjoy the nature as well.
- Salvador: capital of Bahia, extremely warm and humid weather, really good food, nice beaches, warm people and a lot of Brazilian Historical Buildings.
- Imbassaí: really nice beach about 1hr20 min from Salvador, it's a great spot if u like surfing, if u don't there is a river there where u guys can just lie down and eat crabs fresh from the river.
- Ouro Preto : historical city in Minas, basically must of the gold stolen from Portugal came from here, lots of nice buildings and churches, really good food and a different architecture if compared to other places in Brasil.
- Praia do Forte: is a district in Bahia, there u can find some of the nicessest, affordable beaches in Brasil, u can also go to Projeto Itamar, a sanctuary for giant Turtles its only one hour from Salvador as well.
Most of these places are turistic points for Brazilians, but not that much for foreigners, they are my personal favs.
FILIPINOS ADORE BRAZILIANS ! THERE ARE BRAZILIANS CELEBRITY MODELS LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES !
We don't care! 😏
I Care. Who ARE they?
That models is almost From others states. We could say From Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais!

Wait a second, why didn't you put on the traditional male Brazilian bathing suit? That's what we wanted to see! :p

Charge for music is a scam in any country or language... because you don’t pay it unless you order something... just put price on the menu and quit the trickery’
I was really surprised by it and had no clue what it was until i asked
Actually, any store, restaurant, service, whatever, have the obligation to warn their clients (previously and clear) about prices and charges in general, especially when it comes to services/products that are not the core of the business. Not doing this is considered abusive by our 'consumer defense code', which is a compilation of laws intended to protect consumers. Of course, there are polemics on this subject. Anyway, it works, and the fines are usually expensive. If more brazilians knew their rights, things like this wouldn't happen even to foreigners.
Ball Around The World actually, our constitution doesn’t allow that kind of charge... it’s definitely a scam... you have to say that you will not pay for that..
just leave ur phone and your watch in hotel

Thank you so much, yes we do shoot and edit all our own content
Can you please let me know where did you stay in Rio? Link of accommodation? Thank you!
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏❤
1 dollar here now is 5x our local money. So it's very cheap for foreigners now! Everything is very cheap! I remember the time when it was 1x1 - it was like paradise. When it went to 1x2, I was kind of sad, but now with 1x5, I'm really frustrated - it's soooooo much expensive to travel outside... it also reflects in buying electronic stuffs, because it's all based in dollar, plus the government taxes that it's an absurd for us!
I live in the US and I'm from Brazil sadly I've never been to Rio before :( nice video!
You guys should get a gigsky data SIM card i use it on all my trips abroad and it works great! They different data plans usually 1,2 or 5 gigs. It’s costs different wherever you go but always reasonable prices and you can usually find coupon codes, I just noticed they don’t have coverage in Brazil but it’s great in Europe
You guys complaining of R&6.00 (around $.90 of dollar ) you had to pay because of live music in the restaurant ? That’s funny.. Not necessary at all to complain about it , but you should be grateful to have a such amazing thing Brazil has to offer ... Just saying ...
You two are too cute! Thanks for bringing some joy & travel vibes during quarantine. Looking forward to more videos.
We hope it does help!
