Not crying, got something in my eye. Emotional, riveting, beautiful, not enough words to describe the feelings Home Free's rendition of this song evokes. Thank you so much. Like you, I'm going to listen to it again and probably many more agains.
Spectacular, Glorious, and HEAVENLY! This is the most beautiful songs that HOMEFREE has ever covered! PRAISE GOD FOR SENDING HIS SON TO THIS WICKED WORLD TO REDEEM US! AND, PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME FOR HOMEFREE! The harmonies and especially TIM, AUSTIN, and ROBB! WELL, the entire wonderful group was OUT OF THIS WORLD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REACTION!
That’s what happened to me; I got choked up. To me a song is not only beautiful because of the voices and arrangements but also because the singers or musicians feel it. That is what happens with Home Free. They sing and arrange beautifully but you can see and hear that they feel and live every song they sing.
This is the only version I've ever heard of this that makes me feel the meaning of the song which to me is the empowerment, the love and appreciation. No-one brings out the soul of a song better than Home Free, there's not even anyone near comparison, except for the guys individually on their own, Austin especially. Thanks for the reaction. I saw you holding your hand on your heart throughout the song. No words needed, it tells me you felt it in your heart. 🥰🙏
Simply breathtaking. Most don't notice, that Chance is carrying the bass especially right there at the end...it's magnificent...and I don't compare them to anyone, I just listen to the *EXCELLENCE* that is Home Free !
Oh chills and tears! So beautiful. I don’t know how they do it. It’s another favorite. Helplessly Hoping, One Man Band, Brothers in Arms, In the Blood and this one (well more than these) but this is amazingly good. Such beautiful harmonies and yes, Adam is incredible! Great reaction Taylor!
I think Tim singing the first verse and especially the last line added a whole different tone to the entire hymn. It made me actually wonder if Mary realized what was to come and what the ultimate end would be. Just a spectacular rendition.
A TRADITIONAL CHURCH FAVORITE ..... Christian singers / orchestral ensembles all JUST LOVE TO DO THIS PRAISE MUSIC ..... and when you get to this one ... BOOM !!! You are a Home Fry.
Home Free truly relay on Adam Rupp's artistic expression when it comes to arrangement. People usually expect them to put a spin on the songs they cover. Adam never disappoints us. He can always come up with brilliant ideas and bring the songs to a new level.
This is undoubtedly one of their best Christmas songs. Outstanding! So glad you reacted!! Again, love your channel. If I made a play list, it would be yours play list!
"Mary, Did You Know?" is a Christmas song addressing Mary, mother of Jesus, with lyrics written by Mark Lowry in 1984, and music written by Buddy Greene in 1991. It was originally recorded by Christian recording artist Michael English on his self-titled debut solo album in 1991.
It's been sung by a ton of different people, but this is one of the best. 😀 What's very interesting, is that on MOST of their Christmas songs, Adam Rupp does NOT beatbox. I was (and still am) very glad that he did do the rhythm, though. It just sets everything off perfectly. Great reaction. Thank you!
I absolutely love this song. The Christian in me weeps with gratitude at the lyrics and the way they seem to understand the pure sacredness of what they’re singing. It’s also why I love Trisha Yearwood’s version. It’s not always just the vocal gymnastics, but about the birth of our saving grace incarnate.
they sing this song with such emotion and beauty. Tim's vocals seem to lend themselves to emotional songs. I'm thinking about Brother's in Arms. What We ain't Got, & In the blood off the top of my head. As I've said many times Home Free is great at picking the right person to sing lead in their songs. Adam's beatboxing was as always amazing. You just don't expect it in a song like this one.
Enjoyed watching you experience the premiere of HF's cover of "Mary Did You Know". Have a blessed Christmas and a great 2022. Have you watched Tim and The Hound and The Fox singing "We Three Kings"?
Have you seen HF with Kenny Rogers singing “Children go where I send thee”? It has a few years on it so Adam Chance wasn’t with them yet but it’s a beautiful song.
Just finished listening. This song was penned by Mark Lowry, who used to sing with the Gaither Vocal Band (and has a wonderful sense of humor). As much as I appreciated Home Free's artistry in this rendition of "Mary Did You Know?", I highly recommend taking a listen to Mark's amazing version that also features the background vocals of the talented "Voctave" group. 💙 ua-cam.com/video/uaRpeMT1tjQ/v-deo.html
Love your reaction, as always! 😊 Kenny Rogers did this song & it's beautiful too, but this was so incredible! I listened to the audio of it yesterday & was amazed! As the mother of two sons & feeling so blessed, I can't imagine how Mary must've felt knowing that she was the mother of the Savior of the world.🙏😇 Nobody can do ANYthing any better than Home Free! Have you seen their other new Christmas video with Texas Hill, "Go Tell It On The Mountain"? Texas Hill is opening for Home Free tonight in Atlanta, GA. I'd love to be there! 😍
He is the Great I AM!! Although he said I AM many times in the Bible(especially in the gospel of John) (KJV). The one that stands out to me is Exodus 3:14. Check it out. I Love You My Brother in Jesus!
Yes, you really need to listen to David Phelps sing Oh Holy Night like no one else can! It’s the live version in Alabama with the Gaither’s. You will not be disappointed!
Great reaction. I like HF version as well as PTX. Please react to Mary, Did You Know by Voctave with Mark Lowry. Mark wrote this song, With Voctave it sounds like angels singing in the background. and Gee how long did Mark hold that note?? You'll have to react to find out. ua-cam.com/video/uaRpeMT1tjQ/v-deo.html
Have a new group suggestion for you to listen to: Texas Hill. They perform in a mixture of country, western swing, bluesy jazz. "Easy On The Eyes" ua-cam.com/video/X1RGwcIQDmI/v-deo.html is one suggestion.
There will be no flack from me, every opinion counts on this channel!! I’m still hoping one day HF and PTX join forces to create a super group!!! Can you imagine!! 🤯
No flack necessary, it's all personal. I don't get emotional by any of PTX's songs while Home Free gets me every single time. There's no right or wrong, we are all different. 🥰🙏
I love HF! As compared to Pentatonix, I'm 90% Home Free devoted. However, I do like Pentatonix's version of this song better. It might be that I heard it first years ago, but I think it's their sonic arrangement.
Excellent, Home Free never disappoint. My favourite (rather different approach but still a cappella) is the one by Voctave featuring Mark Lowry who is the co-writer of this wonderful work which asks all the real questions about the meaning of Christmas.
Without a doubt this is the best version of this song.❤️❤️❤️
Not crying, got something in my eye. Emotional, riveting, beautiful, not enough words to describe the feelings Home Free's rendition of this song evokes. Thank you so much. Like you, I'm going to listen to it again and probably many more agains.

Absolutley gorgeous and breathtaking.
"Mary Did You Know?" A beautiful Appalachian spiritual.
I have heard this one before, too...but this is the first time I got choked up by it.

That is what happens with Home Free. They sing and arrange beautifully but you can see and hear that they feel and live every song they sing.
When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God. Gets me every time.
This is the only version I've ever heard of this that makes me feel the meaning of the song which to me is the empowerment, the love and appreciation. Thanks for the reaction. I saw you holding your hand on your heart throughout the song. No words needed, it tells me you felt it in your heart. 🥰🙏
Your comment was right on point !!! No one brings more emotion and feeling to a song than these 5 guys, except as you said Austin with his solo work.
Amen!!
WOW just WOW
Absolutely fantastic. Home Free always delivers.
Simply breathtaking. Most don't notice, that Chance is carrying the bass especially right there at the end...it's magnificent...and I don't compare them to anyone, I just listen to the *EXCELLENCE* that is Home Free !
Another masterpiece Kevin!
You are correct Kevin, I dont compare them to any other groups and dislike when reactors do that, it is not needed,
❤❤❤
So beautiful 😍
That was perfection!!
The guys did a phenomenal job again. Every time I think this can't be topped, another masterpiece comes from Home Free WOW These guys are the best!
The Home Free boys call Adam “A freak of nature “
They have become the premier acapella group for me.
I think Tim singing the first verse and especially the last line added a whole different tone to the entire hymn. It made me actually wonder if Mary realized what was to come and what the ultimate end would be. Just a spectacular rendition.
Just gives me chills 🥰☦️‼️
well, That one never needs to be redone like ever again ! WOW Felt That.
I have heard this plenty of times from other artists but I feel this one from Home Free.
A TRADITIONAL CHURCH FAVORITE ..... Christian singers / orchestral ensembles all JUST LOVE TO DO THIS PRAISE MUSIC ..... and when you get to this one ... BOOM !!! You are a Home Fry.
It's so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. Thankyou.
Always love your reactions! This is my favorite group! Every song they sing sounds beautiful, even the funny ones!
Thank you so much 🙏🏻
First time hearing Home Free……… from me. Mary did you know your baby saved an old southern lady so many times.
Home Free truly relay on Adam Rupp's artistic expression when it comes to arrangement. People usually expect them to put a spin on the songs they cover. Adam never disappoints us. He can always come up with brilliant ideas and bring the songs to a new level.
Beautiful arrangement again. Love these guy's
This is undoubtedly one of their best Christmas songs. Outstanding! So glad you reacted!! Again, love your channel. If I made a play list, it would be yours play list!
Your reaction was wonderful, trying to catch your breath at the end was priceless, they really do take your breath away.
Beautiful song
Such a great song

Absolutely beautiful as always! Adam is surprising in this one. 👏🥰
Thanks for reacting to this! This is my favorite Christmas song, glad they finally put their Home Free magic on it! Happy Holidays!

Beautiful❤️
Their version is my favorite of this song.
This was amazing. I love the beat of this song. And of course, the harmonies were wonderful. Thanks for your reaction
My mom and aunts used to perform this at our churchs annual Christmas party
they sing this song with such emotion and beauty. Tim's vocals seem to lend themselves to emotional songs. I'm thinking about Brother's in Arms. Beautiful beautiful cover of Mark Lowery’s song!! Very moving reaction!! merry Christmas
Chance did most of the base in this one at it was awesome.

Tim has been training Chance in low bass for some time! I think he has been a star pupil!! HF is greater than the sum of parts
If you did not hear it in church - go to a different church ! Glory to God ..... praised herein by this "choir" !
Mmark Lowery of the Bill Gaithers
Now listen to Pentatonix sing this one. Stunning.
Love this. It isn't the Christmas season without hearing O Holy Night by David Phelps. Check it out please, thanks.
Yes, you really need to listen to David Phelps sing Oh Holy Night like no one else can! It’s the live version in Alabama with the Gaither’s. You will not be disappointed!
Check out Kenny Rogers and Wynonna version
Kathy Mattea
I love Home Free, but listen to Pentatonix version also

One of the most beautiful songs ever...listen to Penitonix
Very nice but I still think Pentatonix does it better. Give them a listen sometime
Beautiful. But I like Pentatonix version better
I'll take some flack for this, but as nice as this was, Pentonix owns this one. No comparison.
There will be no flack from me, every opinion counts on this channel!! I’m still hoping one day HF and PTX join forces to create a super group!!! Can you imagine!! 🤯

@@taylorfamilyreactions please!
@@taylorfamilyreactions also check out Voctave with Mark Lowry. Mark Lowry co-wrote " Mary Did You Know ".
The one with Voctave is amazing - can't believe how long Mark held his notes!
Now you should check out Pentatonix version of Mary did you know for comparison. Both groups are good.
Excellent, Home Free never disappoint. My favourite (rather different approach but still a cappella) is the one by Voctave featuring Mark Lowry who is the co-writer of this wonderful work which asks all the real questions about the meaning of Christmas.
You should react to Voctave singing this with Mark Lowry who wrote this song.
You REALLLY need to listen to Pentonix version of this!
Oh, shoot---I get Homefree and Pentatonix mixed-up!! I would rather have had Pentatonix sing this.
They have...years ago.
