I installed a predator engine on my baja warrior I didn't think it would run much better but now I can ride a wheelie and I weigh around 250 very impressed, by the way part# is 69703 if anyone is interested in putting predator engine on baja warrior , your video helped me out thanks

Sorry I haven't answered any questions in a while... but here we go... The motors is still running great. The clutch fit with very little trouble at all, that's why I didn't show it, because we didn't have any issues. The Baja Tank didn't fit on the Pred engine... at least the one we had didn't. We have since just removed the fake tank since it really didn't serve any purpose. I used iMovie to edit the video on our iMac. Shot with my iPhone. A couple of folks asked about the throttle cable... It attached in the same way it did on the old engine. You do have to adjust the nut that I showed in the video, but other than that, it was an easy hook up. The cut off switch by pass was fairly straight forward, just disconnect the wire running from the switch to the engine block. Splice that wire to one of the two wires running from the switch at the throttle. Attach the remaining wire to the same place on the engine that the stock switch was attached to. Leave the stock switch in the OFF position, put the switch by the throttle in the ON position and start the engine. At that point the throttle switch will kill the engine when pressed. As for some of the other question about other issues, I honestly don't know. Sorry. I'm glad the video has helped some folks. It really was a pretty easy install that only took us an about 90 minutes. I documented everything we had an issue with (the bolt, the gas tank, the throttle adjustment, the muffler guard, etc). Everything else went really smooth. If you ran into other issues, sorry... If you found a solution, make it video and post it.
Also mine doesnt take off like the speed of light like yours did at 10:40 because like I said in previous comment gear ratio is so bad that it has terrible acceleration(sorry if I make you read a short story >.
I bought a baja warrior from a guy that didn't have an engine/engine parts(jackshaft) so I had to put spacers between engine and clutch because back sprocket didnt line up :L It's still a little off at the moment and grinds every so often. Saving up money for torque converter....200$ Depressing I know but it's so fun to ride either way
Hey you seem to know your bikes, I have one just like this, I was riding it earlier and the bolt in the cintrifical clutch(if I spelled it right) and I have a little problem, The nut came loose, I found it, and a little metal rod, I have the bolt back in place, but the cintrifical clutch spins with it, so I can't tighten it, Is there anything I can do to fix it, If you need help I can make a video and send it to you on my other account, If your willing to help.

in the process of doing this and i cant take the old clutch off the old engine.. dunno why i have an allen key bolt at the end of the clutch . turns the crank over when i try to get it out. can anyone help?
take off the pull starting casing and theres a metal can thing. what you do it put a screwdriver horizontally in the holes on it and prevent it from spinning while your twisting off the bolt on the clutch. hope this makes sense

I just put wing nuts on to hold the fake gas tank on. That way when I have refill the tank its easy to just remove it.

Nnut on our jackshaft came off. I got a replacement but can't seem to get the larger sprocket on enough to get the nut started. What am I doing wrong

if you remove the flywheel and and coil from the stock motor and install them on the new motor. we opted not to do that.

it was on the mini when we got it. you can buy them at northern tool and other places like that.
My tork convertor did not screw back on so I linked both chains to gather and flipped the cluch around and now I have less tork more speed love it

The predator engines are already broken into out of the box. No need for taking an easy at the beginning.
