I love how he gets right to the point not directly but he does all these other videos talk endlessly and I hate that I don't want to know how everything works it just want to know how to put it together and that's what I got here so I'm very happy with that thank you for the video it was very informative cuz this my first Baja this is my first engine and I needed some help because the hopis god some idiot Easy-Off my carburetor for my gasket and my fuel pump on a gas pump or filter whatever one may be there and just basically told me I didn't need one basically just destroyed my whole carburetor and then try to put it back together and then wouldn't start and around here nobody likes a small engines so the last thing I want to somebody rambling on about how it works I just want to see him put it on so I can do it myself so thank you for getting to the point❤❤❤❤❤
What if mine doesn't have an air box I have two different filters covering the carburetor and the other one I guess what you called it the air hose should I get one of those cover boxes you have or am I okay with the with the filters

UGH I am so frustrated right now I spent the last few days upgrading my 196cc mini bike engine. I changed out the stock cam for a Mod 2 Cam. Swapped out the stock Valve Springs for 18 Pound springs. Removed the Governor and took out the stock throttle assembly and put it a new Throttle Assembly made for Ungoverned Engines. Finally got everything done and put it all back together today added gas and oil and now the damn thing won't start. I have no idea why and really do not want to have to take the whole engine apart again to try to figure out why it won't start. It does have compression. But when you go to pull the pull starter it feels like it's hard to pull. Also it sounds weird like something is rubbing against something every time I pull the pull cord. On top of that I noticed gas dripping from the bottom of the Carb bowl where the nut is in the center but that is because that particular bolt suddenly decided it didn't want to tighten down all the way anymore. It just keeps turning and turning never fully tightening so I will order a new bolt for that online. But that's not the reason behind the engine not starting up at all. I gotta figure out what's wrong with it now but don't know where to start looking first. Any suggestions ?

As long as the smaller vent hose that goes to the valve cover has a filter on it your good to use a cone filter on the carb.
