What an awesome collection! I'm impressed at how she makes the most out of her space in an NYC apartment. So many of my wish list plants are on here too!!
i honestly love this series so much, maybe you can do a series where you mix this and the decor series together? like you find plant people who are moving to new apartments and with a budget they give you help set up their new place and make it pretty while highlighting and tending to their collection?
Love the innovative ways Vivien used to keep the plants happy from the ikea greenhouse cabinets to grow lights. Definitely using some of these tips for my NYC apartment as well🐱💚🌱
Summer all of your masks are way too big for your face! I've wanted to make and send you some for months, there's no point in wearing them if they keep falling off your nose and you have to keep touching them. Adjusting the elastic should do the trick. I have a small face and had to do the same with bought masks but now just make my own. Love all of your videos as usual :) just had to say something or I might lose my mind haha
I bought a mini orchid from Home Depot this spring and it held 21 blooms from mid April until mid September , mind you I did replant it from a growers pot to a more orchid friendly pot with orchid bark and moss and gave it weekly organic ferts and misting , she currently lost her last flowers and I can already see she is working on her leaves.
I like her hoya plants and the ways she keeps her monteras in tiny containers, the monteras inside jar covered reminds me of aquatic plants but without water. The humidifier sprayer is good for plants but I don’t know if it’s okay for the home wall. I like this presentation because of the ways she has all her hoyas plants . Thank 🙏
Trader Joe’s orchids are great. I bought a big phaleonopsis for my best friend’s birthday as well as one for myself back in February. Here it is early July and both of ours are still covered with blossoms. I think only one has fallen from mine. And this is despite the recent heat wave here in the Seattle area where the temperature was probably 106 just on the other side of the sliding door it is set beside, and my apartment was cooled only by a portable unit in another room. It was under $20, I think, and came in a beautiful ceramic pot with the bonus of a dracena marginata and corn plant type dracena in the arrangement. I have been buying their orchids for years, and while their choices don’t include any exotics, they are beautiful and healthy plants. Perfect for gift giving.
Superfluous 💅.My heartily Felicitation to your Ineffable sheeny home garden and goose bumps ur caladiums leaves.Literally your sweet home have a very celebrating life and I am very much fascinated Japanese special food Shirako and orchard garden. This video honestly touched my heart .🙏.
Love love your videos ❤️❤️ I like that whenever one of them have a zz u right away meeting about your zz turning all yellow 🤣. Your video are like therapy for me. I’m almost done watching all your videos.
Hey Summer !. Hows it going Dorra ?. Im... busy. I built my little farm, its got all the bells and whistles, 300+ kale and spinach plants. I sacrificed alot to get it. Im doing gardening jobs, i bring my tools and ask for work. Later on ill declare the work and add it to my business. I just did two scrubs at the back of some shops, very pleased. Its fun and im enjoying it, have another lined up. No i didnt take the jibber jab, my bro did and my uncle. Yay. I miss the old days, watching you roam carefree. Oh and i lost my sister, shes in 4D now, prefered her here though.
I agree, her set up is the best set up I’ve seen so far now. I also LOVE planters that she have that she has it on a shelves stuck on the window (time stamp 16:34). @summer Can you post a link to those planters please.
LOVE her plant collection, I want mine to be something like this one day!!! Also about Hoya stagnation, put it in bright light! My great grandmothers hoya carnose was stagnated, never even flowered until I got ownership of it put it in an east facing window and since I got it in February its put out 3 new leaves even bigger than the previous ones. Maybe you can try that with your rhipsalis Summer?
Such a pretty gal and wonderful collection 👌🏻 I’m interested on those shelves she installed on the glass windows she mentioned like from Amazon I guess🤔 if anyone can share the link or item name I would appreciate that🙏🏻
That humidifier looked like that giant stinging insect that attacked Captain Janeway on Star Trek Voyager - that's why you thought it looked familiar(14:31) and in Lila's defense that camera was just another giant one-eyed monster.
I found a pachira aquatica variegata at a Home Depot braided in with a few other just green ones. Unfortunately it was so overwatered there was no roots left and I tried everything to save it but it still died 😭 it was soooooo upsetting
I’m moving from Florida to California in a month and I’m going to have to sell most of my plants and the ones I do keep will probably die because most of my success it due to living in a tropical climate. I might just have to look into the humidifier she has!
[Genuine Question] What's the deal with masks in the US? Why are you wearing one in the first place if you're wearing it that lose and it's made out of cotton? I've seen this with other UA-camrs as well, like it's the most natural thing. Do you guys over there just not have N95 masks.. or what's the reason?
At the beginning of the pandemic there was a shortage of N95, so people used cloth masks. It obviously is not as effective as N95 but it does cut down on the emission of aerosols and it does help keep the humidity of your mucus membranes in the nose and throat which helps to trap the virus before it reaches your lungs. In NYC approx 60% of people have been vaccinated already. She is prob vaccinated already so perhaps she just wants to be extra careful.
@@robin212212 extra careful is a joke if you wear a mask, ANY mask, like this. Nose sticking out all the time... you can leave it off then, same effect.
If this was filmed recently, the mask mandate has been lifted in many places, so it might not even be necessary. Usually Summer is really good about wearing her mask properly (see any of her videos from earlier in the pandemic), so I’m sure this is just an ill-fitting one.

First, she is so beautiful! Her collection is gorgeous. I love her set up! It really showcases her plants wonderfully
Takes one to know one and yeah I thought she was too even her little tiny moles - I mean beauty marks LOL!

wow what a beautiful plants and the dog is also variegated so cute.
home tours are my favorite 💗🌱
summer we NEED a biopod update!!!
Summer really wanted all the dark veined hoya to be a Finlaysonii ;)
Is there going to be a link to some of the grow lights? And I'd love a link to that humidifier too!
She can put a plastic sandwich bag over the hoya polyneura and it will put out new growth. Works like a charm for rooting hoyas and increasing growth.
Very happy! Love home tours esp. with 🐶 dog 💚 🌿🌿🌿 can't wait for the next Ep.
Would love to know where she got that humidifier.
On what floor is her apt. She is way up there in the clouds.

terrible messaging coming from the CDC. People still wiping shit down instead of improving circulation in indoor spaces. it's a travesty.
