Thank you for just identifying your plants and not over talking each one. You obviously love your plants and know how to care for them. I subscribed and am looking forward to seeing more of your pics. Take care😊
may or may not be too late or youve figured it out already, but conos are winter growers so if they start shriveling, i just very light water around whichever one is shriveled and just do that for the next couple of days and they plump right back up! as long as its sunny and not cold and cloudy of course.
@@gennasplants forgot to mention, there's shriveling which you do want to lightly water when you see em like that, but the leaves are a little bit shriveled and you also see the little mouth opening, that means its either flowering or resorbing the old leaves to push out the new one. if you can see a new leaf inside, then refrain from watering! they have all the water they need from absorbing the old leaves. i think if you see a bud and it flowers, you wait until it finishes flowering before you water?? the flowering one is the only one id look into more. i forget where i read that at T_T
Yes I would love to hear a video of what went wrong with your semi hydro. I've recently switched about 95% of my collection to PON due to years of fungus gnats. I lost a couple of plants myself that didn't like the transition from soil to PON but they rerooted with no issues in fluval stratum. Since then I've seen a couple of gnats but that's nothing like the gnat situation before.
I love your hoya collection!! I just found your channel and I love it💚 I have been watching @herplantstories but she's gone from YT...(so sad...) I hope many many plant youtubers thrive!!
Crested geckos are great, I have three of them. But I like gargoyle geckos better and have four of them. My H. Astrial 'Lisa' is one of my favs in my small hoya collection.
My cat has literally 0 hunting instincts so he will watch River but that's it. River is more of a problem and will sometimes try and attack Decker if he's jealous of the attention Decker is getting. But generally they leave each other alone.
Super impressed with your cool and diverse collection! That Brazilian tree 🙌 all those Hoyas just inspired me and River is awesome!! Do you mind sharing if you use a humidifier? Happy growth!
Thank you so much! No I haven't used a humidifier for a while - my house sits around 50-60% naturally and that's plenty for most of my plants. I keep humidity in the greenhouse cabinets higher just using weather stripping 🙂
Hi:) did you tried to water your plants with systemic? It really helps with trips. With big infestations i do it like 2 times in a row. And then every 3-4 months. And it kills fungus larvae also 👍🏻
I looked a little bit into aricles that pop up in google. If you only grow ornamental plants in your home then maybe you could buy unregistered product. It’s just a thought. I understand that goverment has its concerns about enviroment, but … you know😂
Yay thanks for the tour! Love all your succulents, so cool and pretty! They don’t get enough love 💕. Still on the hunt for the zig zag tree succulent, I had a small cutting, but it died :T.
Hi Genna. I used to raise & breed Geckos. I don't recommend putting your Batik in the Gecko tank. They aren't sturdy enough to support a Crested and they ( the Gecko) can be seriously injured. Geckos are actually fragile creatures. You also don't want to put toxic plants in particular thin leaf toxic plants in a Gecko cage. While the Geckos eat mainly bugs they will if hungry chomp on a plant every once & a while. Just some helpful fyi. I raised around 300 babies and they can be quite adventurous especially Crested. Your Jungle Cactus is gorgeous & your succulents are stunning. I was also wondering which brand of dry sphagnum you use to grow your fresh? You seem to have really good luck. I've had a little luck but not as much as I'd like.💚🌿🍃🌱🪴🍀
Thanks for the info! My live sphagnum moss I actually collected in northern Ontario a couple years ago. I've had some success reviving dry moss from Spagmoss
Wonderful collections and full of great content. However, could you slow the camera down a bit. All the quick swinging back and forth is making it hard to watch.
Yes! Please do a video about the issues you had with self watering hoyas! I think it would be sooooo helpful! 💚
All my hoyas are in 4inch terracotta pots & they're all doing well & I let them dry out before watering
Your plants are stunning! 🌱💚🪴 Please share what you’ve learned about self watering pots. 😊 Thank you.
For sure. Thank you! 😊
Watching as I do plant chores. Stunning collection!
Lots of beautiful and healthy plants. Enjoyed watching till the end.
So glad you enjoyed! 🥰

Aww thank you! I love @herplantstories too 🥰
U have plants that i havent seen before, lots ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🥰 I always love discovering new plants!
Great videos and beautiful plants!
I am interested in the self watering pots review :)
Thank you! I will definitely work on that 💚
I water my lithops whenever they are wrinkly which can honestly be every 3-4 days and they thrive! def a misconception to not water them
Glad yours are thriving! 😁
@@gennasplants love your collection! Great job 👏
Watched til' the end...but had to watch in parts because my focus got distracted 😃 but your plants looks gorgeous!
Haha I do the same thing! Thank you so much 🥰
@@gennasplants You're welcome! 💜
Hi!! Could you talk about your succulents soil mix plz? 😊 thank you
Hi! I usually use 50% cactus mix and 50% perlite with akadama as a top dressing 🙂
Love your variegated monstera! Sooo beautiful!! 😍
Thank you! 🥰
You have such a lovely collection and are blessed with wonderful lighting in your home. New subscriber and hello from Gananoque, Ontario 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦
Thank you! Nice to meet someone else in Ontario 😊
Beautiful plants
Thank you 😊
Hi! I'm so inspired by your plants! I'm definitely going to subscribe to see more 😎💯
Thank you so much! 🥰

A nice collection of plants! What I'm wondering about is that you have a cat AND a bird. How do they get along?
My cat has literally 0 hunting instincts so he will watch River but that's it. River is more of a problem and will sometimes try and attack Decker if he's jealous of the attention Decker is getting. But generally they leave each other alone.
Your Hoyas look wonderful 🤗 just added Wilbur Graves China to my wishlist ☺️
Thank you! Amazing ☺️
Amazing good job
Thank you so much!

Love all the hoyas!! Do you have them under grow lights and if you do how long per day??
Most of them just get natural light except the ones in the cabinet. I have the light on about 12 hours 🙂
Hi:) did you tried to water your plants with systemic? It really helps with trips. With big infestations i do it like 2 times in a row. And then every 3-4 months. And it kills fungus larvae also 👍🏻
We can't get systemics in Canada so that's not really an option 🙃

Thank you for a great video. What is the white wall mount at the end with grow lights? Homemade? Or did you purchase? Thank you!😄
It's a Södergarn board from Ikea and then I added the shelves myself 🙂
@@gennasplants thank you so much!!
Can you please explain to me how you put soil in the water for propagation? I've not heard of that before.
I'd recommend checking out @pollens_28 on Instagram, that's who I learned it from!
Yay thanks for the tour! Love all your succulents, so cool and pretty! They don’t get enough love 💕. Still on the hunt for the zig zag tree succulent, I had a small cutting, but it died :T.
Glad you liked it! I agree, they need more love! I hope you can find another one 🥺
I'm just getting into plants. Do you debug your plants before bringing into the house?
What do you mean debug? I check them for pests and maybe spray them with water but that's it if I don't find any bugs
@@gennasplants I’ve read to soak them in water so any bugs in the soil will come out. Sorry I should have explained what I meant.
Your plants are incredible!! I loved watching your plant tour sooooooo much!! Thanks for all the hard work to make this amazing video!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you! 🥰
👍👍👍Nice
Hi there! Where can I get my hands on some forgetii seeds? Or any anthurium seeds?
Depends where you are in the world, but usually Facebook Marketplace and rare plant buy/sell groups are a good place to start
Really cool plants! Honest feedback, need to really work on video stability , had to skip a lot to avoid getting giddy.
Thanks! I'm working on it

What mistake did you make with the self watering pots?
I made a whole video about it! ua-cam.com/video/miPDfuH3y20/v-deo.html
How many plants do you have?!!
Wonderful collections and full of great content. However, could you slow the camera down a bit. All the quick swinging back and forth is making it hard to watch.

Hi. What kind of parrot do you have?
He's a sun conure 🙂
He and your plants are beautiful. Your space looks tranquil and calm. Looks like a space where you can recharge your body, mind, and spirit.
Thank you so much 🥰

Did you say 50th year anniversary? You sound like youre in your 20s-30s
5th 😂
Give me your string of heart
You move the camera too fast which makes me dizzy
