SIMPLEST Way To SWING A GOLF CLUB will SHOCK YOU

- WOW! This is the SIMPLEST way to play golf. Ben Hogan did it so we should too. The simplest way to swing a golf club will shock just like it did me. A simplified action is more effective than an action that has too many moving parts. Try this and hit the golf ball solid.
EUREKA GOLF SWING

For a golf swing that is CONSISTENT, provides a flat left wrist, compression, lag and more. Steve's EUREKA GOLF SWING is now being implemented in 52 countries taking the golfers game to a place that allows the body to turn, the flight to straighten and compression to become a reality.
The starting place is the "iron swing series" offering the set of the Eureka Golf Swing canes and a step by step tutorial of the full action.
REMEMBER: as Steve says, "There is a difference between opening your stance and aiming left".

Ok, I’ve taken this to the course for 54 holes now and I cannot believe how well I’m hitting it. I’m almost hitting too far now I have to manage my game to avoid hazards that weren’t reachable a few weeks ago. The strike is absolutely astonishing.
Thanks Steve. I’ve no idea how it works or what I’m doing but it really does.
Your ease of approach is magnificent and I like the EUREKA way of developing my swing for many years thank you Steve
Very welcome
Such a great video that really highlights what it means to be “external” over the ball and not “internal”. This is something I first saw in Adam Young’s book and George Gankas spoke about this as well.
Internal golfers are ones that are thinking about some physical cue (left wrist flat, drop the right elbow on down swing, move the trail hip back etc etc etc). There is nothing wrong with that and it works for many golfers (myself included) until it doesn’t work and you need another cue.
Golfers that are external are thinking about something more abstract over the ball like the ball flight, or swing path or swing feel. It’s a very different feeling when you swing as opposed to the internal golfer. I’ve started doing this and I don’t think I’ve ever hit the ball better. I just am focusing on the path/feel/rhythm of my swing and the physical cues just seem to fall into place (rotation, posture, balance etc).
I believe there is a third mindset after internal and external where your mind is completely blank and clear of any thoughts or feels and it’s purely reactionary. Similar to “the zone” that’s been referenced to an athletes state of mind in some outstanding athletic performances.
I tried it at driving range yesterday it definitely works plus hit the ball very solid and went further than my normal swing which i was hitting very well but tried this for a bit of fun
This really works! Shot one of the easiest, most fun rounds of golf in “YEARS!” using the Eureka method. The ball flew to target more often, and there were very few swing thoughts, just swing along the plane line. Now if I could just putt…lol😂. MikeR in Nova Scotia.
Fantastic. Thanks for the feedback👍
So much for having the clubhead outside the hands. This swing is compact, simple and repeatable.
There is a lot of golf instruction on UA-cam.......a lot.
Some of it is good.
This is VERY good.
I have been a weak flipper my long career. This information helped me fix it.
The Eureka golf swing works, not interested in the technicalities, but just to say it works and works splendidly for me. No more wondering will you be able to hit it today or dreading the first shot. Thank You Steve.
Another fantastic video, eureka!!
Steve, what kind of distance are you generating from say a standard 8 iron with this swing?
I think some numbers would help some of the more data minded folks give it a go!
So do you have any other video's showing this method or is that basically all you need for this. I have been surprised how great my ball striking has improved. Been playing for years and was always discouraged from a flatter swing which is something that is natural for me. It really is amazing to just follow the club shaft down the outward stick. I wanted to thank you for this bit of info., given how much is out there.
@@williamfickett177 Hey William 👋 have you had a look at my website www.eurekagolfswing.com
Thanks Steve👍
swing simply simplified. thanks hogan. thank you. Good
This is golden stuff here. This develops a repeatable swing for sure. That’s why Hogan was an excellent ball striker.
Took this to the range for 30 minutes a couple days ago then went out and shot my low round of the season. 73 on par 72 at 6500 yards. It really worked and felt so simple. Not to groove it in!!
Of course you did. I practiced this for 5 mins then joined the pga tour and won the masters
Steve this was for me a Big eyeopener thanks👍
Something else I would like to add - you are also employing a slightly expanded version of Hogan's "half-swing exercise" from his Modern Fundamentals," which I have used time and time again giving lessons - it works like a charm, as I'm sure you well know.
Why is your stance open to the target line ?
I have always struggled with release right handed, probable cause, cricket at school.. Left handed no problem at all. I wish I had learned to play left handed from the start when I was 17 at the time. ..
Fold unfold of the right arm is all that is required to achieve the swing I worked it out about five years ago but nice to see you do it on video
Hi David I hope my comment didn't sound as a form of privacy invasion your comment tells of a wonderful man with a beautiful heart which led me to comment I don't normally write in the comment section but I think you deserve this compliment If you don’t mind can we be friends? Thanks God bless you….🌹🌹
If you look at a slow motion you will see that Mr. Hogan actually take the up back inside and up and slightly over the top on the downswing just like the vast majority of pro golfers do.
Hi Gregg how are you doing. It’s nice coming across your amazing comment
When demonstrating the effectiveness of this technique (Eureka advertisement), it would be great to see the numbers as well as the shot tracer to verify the quality of the strike. Strike is king. Numbers / data support this.
Great lesson. You are a great ball striker.
I love this, and just this past week I was at the range determined to shorten my swing and stay on plane. Result was a little draw every time. My problem is a longer swing keeps coming back and then I have to go practice again shortening it in order to be consistent.
Are your feet lined up on the left side alignment rod ... i.e., open stance? What about ball position ... center, forward of center? Does the stance or ball position change with different clubs?
Yeah I’d like to hear this too
Well done Steve 👏
It feels like you're pushing out right? Cause I have been messing with hands out as far as I can go to see if I can maintain consistency. Usually only do it on driver.
Hope I'm on the right track! Good stuff here man.
Great video 👍, Could you apply this concept to driver & woods aswell ?
Looks like stack and tilt with an open stance? Hands low on backswing. Do you roll the wrists over after impact? I can't tell because you aren't swinging full. Looks interesting though.....
Excellent. Thanks
Hi Steve; when you're demonstrating the swing, possibly due to the camera angle, it looks like your feet are aligned to the stick closest to you which would put them open but are hitting a draw. Is it only the camera angle?
Hey Mike, I always aim left with feet for all shot shapes. Check out www.eurekagolfswing.com thanks Mike👍
@@stevejohnstongolf For all what shapes? 🤣
@@mikerodrick2430 😂😂😂😂 edited😂😂
Does it work with the driver. I’m thinking of subscribing to eureka golf swing
First time finding this Coach: reminds me of Jim Venetos “Avenue Of Power” swing.
Brilliant 👍⛳
can i ask why you foot alignment is so 'open' or your lead foot is so far back?
Sublime!! 😀😀👍👍
Does it make sense to take the same stance with the driver?
K.I.S.S.- Keep It Simple Stup...endous! It is surprising how much power can be generated with a short swing, especially when it comes off the center of the face more frequently. There is this guy on UA-cam that says "Strike is King"...smart fellow. Those kids sound like they're having fun in their introduction to the game! Love to see it!

hi steve will eureka swing help with the older golfers not so flexable
Hi Andrew, yes, many senior golfers have contacted me with the benefits of the Eureka Golf Swing www.eurekagolfswing.com
Eureka!! At last .
Despite 5 months of stretching, doing drill, my lower back and ability to twist is still in the dumps. If I can resolve this issue, I can mimick Hogan's swing EXACLTY.
Lack of mobility in lower back us the culprit which means my swing will likely NEVER be like Hogan's.
EUREKA SWING:
Just wondering if you guys use Eureka Swing in your daily/weekend Golfcourse games & local club competitions with your playing buddies?
Excellent…😊
I take it that Steve opens the face slightly, as he says, to counteract the draw.
Path and feet are explaind not the clubhead aiming
How do u hit a fade to order?
Open the face at address and hold it open through impact that’s physics !!
The hard bit is hitting the ball!
To me; Hogan looks like minimal shoulder turn, on top of max hip turn.
Improvements have come to my game using this.
Best part is the slightly open stance for old farts like me who need that to get thru the ball with the most comfort and power…
Thanks, check out my website for more info on the open stance. www.eurekagolfswing.com
Hogan played a fade
Yet so many modern pros take the club back almost straight with the club face facing the ball for the first 1.5 feet
They are the best ball strikers in the world. They could hit a ball better than you nobody what swinging motion they take
welcome to hookville and fat ville
Do this along with Gravity Golf & thank me later. (No HIT involved). Amen brothers. Amen.
Hogan had very long arms and short torso, imitating his swing has been a pitfall for many golfers.
1 vs 2 plane swings. This does not work for people using a 2 plane swing..
Its shocking is that
Hi Steve, excellent demonstration of your Eureka swing and seeing the 'shot tracer' certainly helped. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing. Does this work for Driver and woods as well? For irons, do you keep more weight on the left side?
Good stuff, Steve. The key, I have discovered, is to avoid the "one piece takeaway" introduced by Snead. Rotate the left forearm, as you are doing, keeps the club on plane as long as you don't overswing. Another good example is Guido Migliozzi though he plays a slight fade. The difference is only slight.
Once again you give me something to work on and Eureka it just works for me . Thanks Steve
Excellent William👍
This really works! Thank you for making it simple
Tried this on the weekend, was effective although only a very slight draw to straight for me. Also can it be applied to driver? I found it difficult to swing on plane with driver and off balance as well. Would like to see you apply this with driver?
Can I ask why your feet are so open to target?
No words
Except........
Brilliant sir!
Everyone talks about Ben Hogan
You actually understand the swing
You cannot go wrong with the Hogan reference. Key point made and shown on how he consistently kept his left arm below the shoulder at the top of backswing. Thanks Steve.
Why is your lead foot further back and not in-line with your target?
simple, repeatable, practical
I'd like to see a down the shaft view to see how open the club face is
At address is the club face at right angles to the red cane?
steve are you hitting the ball off your back foot
Brilliant concept to teach or practice golf!
Thank you for sharing Steve
Omg I needed to see this today. I just seen what I was doing wrong. My backswing was way to long causing me to lean left. Outstanding video

It works. Brilliant. It's an incredibly accurate swing. I had to rest the temptation to lift my arms rather than continue on the arc established in the first part of the swing. BTW, I love Steve's glee at discovering the effectiveness of this swing, and with the results of his demonstration swings. I also love it when he says, "I don't know what happens" in the transition from the backswing. It doesn't matter. It works. Bravo.
Hi James how are you doing? It’s nice coming across your amazing profile
Hi Steve, I've been struggling with striking irons recently, feel like I struggle to clear hips on downswing, so after some reading online I decided to open stance with feet but square up hips and shoulders to target, clubface with shaft lean aimed slightly to the right of target, swung the club back on the inside and can confirm I've not hit a ball that pure or accurate in my life. Took it onto the course and played about 8 holes using this setup, consistent draw ball shape. No early extension, no heavy shots, no thins. Can I ask with the eurika swing do you aim the clubface right of target as well? Cheers
That’s great. Regarding the Clubface, yes but it through sweet spot rotation at address. All is explained in the Iron Swing Series at www.eurekagolfswing.com Thanks👍
@@stevejohnstongolf sorry steve, what do you mean by 'but it through sweet spot rotation at address'? Cheers
I love that shot. It seems that swing would make new golfers feel like pros. Nothing like losing the plot and swinging for the stars only to thin or fat the ball.
After watching this video I signed up to the Eurekagolfswing site and practiced the techniques on a simulator for 3 hours. I've jumped up 1 club in distance and changed my club path from 'out to in' to 'on plane' or 'in to out'. I've been trying to figure out how to stop my left arm breaking and over swinging for years using all kinds of aids and techniques, without avail. I feel with this swing i'm getting much closer, it's also easier on the back.
This is what I've been telling my friends who are learning golf. Stop taking the club straight back. It makes it harder to hit the ball because you have extra movement to get to impact. Simple way to do this is keep the trail elbow connected to the trail hip.
I recently had a lesson with my club pro and he got me hitting decent shots doing exactly what you demonstrate here, except that he had me set up with a closed stance and said that I was standing too open!! Was he wrong as it has improved my ball striking significantly. I do have a pretty flat swing so maybe that's the difference.
Well.. I like this but - understanding how to release the club properly is imperative to this actually working. Golf is not easy, but we have certainly made it harder than necessary
I'd like you to do a video with a complete beginner and let's see how simple this is only saying because it's only you who demonstrates how simple this is and your a pro.
If it's really that simple, then your left handed game should improve quickly and dramatically.
If I do this I end up bending the ball well left, have to get hand s up parallel to yellow cane to go straight or get slight draw. Confused am i
Looks like Hogan is flattening the club or something at the top of his backswing or am I imagining that?
I get stuck when i try this. Push and hook. Like the follow thru with open stance though.
Hi Steve,on the hogan video it looks like through impact he is swinging left
Weak grip and going from inside to outside at ball gave Hogan a fade every time.
I try to take it back at 7 O'clock and swing to 1 O'clock
Wow!.looks good..really got to test this tomorrow
Does it work With driver?👍
Brilliant,
Excellent video Steve, noticed you’re using an open stance.
Yeh, Eureka Golf Swing. There is a different between opening your stance and aiming left. Here’s a link www.eurekagolfswing.com
7 days free trial👍
Thanks Steve
So why have you got an open stance? And why are your demonstrating a draw with an open stance? Confused!
I believe it is to open the body more at impact allowing better hip turn and rotation.
@@zarlodious1 I know a lot of good players are taught to open the left foot out but never seen any decent or pro golfers play a straight or draw shot with an open stance? Maybe just needs an explanation like “do it when practicing this drill” or something. I’m eager to try this as my swing falls apart in my backswing! 😂
@@carsonriches4790 thanks mate!
Lee trevino used to hit draws with the most open stance you could imagine
@@richarddavey7884 an exceptional talent! Bubba Watson another one who can do it but that’s not going to be possible for likes of us! I’m now a mid handicapper after playing the game for 30 years and need the simplest solutions. Still going to try it though! 😀
I would love to see this demonstrated with the driver
Hi John how are you
Just what I needed as a drill 👌🏻
Hi Dave good morning how are you doing
Really good stuff, using Hogan's swing, the greatest ball striker who ever lived, but then, who else could you have picked if you wanted the very best - keeping this video handy, as it is a useful refresher to pull up at any time - thanks for putting this together Mr. Johnston.

Awesome and simple. Great drill. Hogan swing is classic, simple, repeatable and timeless. The best ball striker EVER AND FOREVER!
They say moe norman was the best ball striker. Plus he's Canadian. So that's that.
@@topgunbass I knew More Norman personally and golfed with him several times , I am from Kitchener Ontario Canada where Moe lived. That said, I put Hogan #1, Moe Norman #2, then Lee Trevino and George Knudson also from Canada. Cheers
