Cannot thank you enough for this video. I've been trying to figure out how it mounts and how it tilts for the longest time. Off camera flash is something I've been slowly trying to learn. This was soooo very helpful. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
This is the most comprehensive and easy to understand vid I've seen so far on the GodOx 600 Pro. Bought one for these bad boys recently and have been looking for a vid like this! Thanks for sharing!
Great Video. I'm just getting g into the Godox system. I have several Canon 600EX-RTs and I would like to use the XPro to fire them together with the AD600. I need help After mounting the 600EX-RT on the X1 and the XPro C on the Camera, how do I set this up to make me use both AB600 and 600EX-RT be fired by the XPro mounted on my Canon Camera. Manty thanks
Great Video, most helpful and informative - I'm new to this end of photography and was expecting the worst - Yet today, I'm a Smarty Pants . . . Thank you - : )
Great in depth review on its features. Is the 2nd curtain synch still limited to 1/30s and lower?? This is a bit of a nuisance for me on my 200, 360 and 600 flashes! Surely Godox could fix this with firmware updates.
I have two of these and noticed that when I trigger them they make a strange sound, like a spring vibrating, just after the beep, it does it with both Units, so would not think its a fault, Unit s both seem to perform OK, but I have used quadra kits and Broncolor Siros none of these make the strange sound, would you have any idea what it is.
So at roughly 24:53....when you turn on the trigger, I see SYNC on the bottom of window.....I don’t see that on my trigger....it’s always blank....any reason why? Thank you...
Yes the trigger will work on both these cameras. We have the XT-OP in stock or the new XT Pro-OP will be in by the end of the month. strobepro.com/products/strobepro-xt-op-godox-x1t-o-radio-trigger-controller-olympus-panasonic
No the Canon is on a different wireless system. however you can add an XRC receiver to your 600Rt to add it into the system. The XT Pro Canon controller would control both lights then with full TTL and HSS. All lights from Strobepro now have the receivers built in. strobepro.com/products/strobepro-xt-pro-c-godox-xpro-c-radio-trigger-controller-canon strobepro.com/products/strobepro-xrc-radio-receiver-canon
There is no full Pentax support yet. It would still trigger in single pin mode but you would not have HSS or TTL on any of the lights. You would still have power control and firing though.
Will Cactus help in this case? For example, I buy the Fuji trigger and put it on top of my Cactus transceiver... And another important question here: what about the Elinchrom speedrings? I have 5 amazing and very expensive Elinchrom sorftboxes and still want to use them with Godox AD600pro. Thank you.
No it still won't give you HSS. For your Elinchrom modifiers you can change the speedring to bowens with our 6" speedrings. If those won't fit your boxes just give us an email because we have an adapter for $35. hello @strobepro.com
On the multi mode, you said you can set the number of flashes and the Hertz. What does it mean to set the Hertz? Does that control the speed of the flashes?
Yes you can set the Hertz (unit of frequency) of the flash. It basically means how many times something can happen in one second. The higher the Hertz the more flashes you get per second. This has nothing to do with setting your camera to multiburst mode for example and seeing if the flash will keep up. It is how many times the flash will fire in one frame. For example taking a picture of a sequence of movements of a dancer captured all in one shot.
Yes, I thought it was assumed but I'll change that next time. I also said modelling lamp instead of flash tube a few times but hopefully it won't bother anyone too much.
I don't think so people will be bothered much by it but for the perception and admiration to the brand and the person it would greatly improve audience influence.

It is still maxed at 1/30s. We will have a chat with the engineers to see what the limitation is.
My flash keeps switching from manual mode to multi mode ? Any idea why
Is your controller set to multi mode? The controller will always override what is set on the flash.
Price and does it comes with the remote?

Can it be shipped to Germany?
extremely good and helpful review!!!! A+++++

So you have your controller updated to the latest version?
Is this compatible with the Godox Witstro AD-H600 portable? or is there another version of that? Pins look different...
No they are not compatible. You need this extension head for the Pro version. strobepro.com/products/strobepro-x600-pro-godox-ad600-pro-extension-head
Good review, can you get a trigger for the GH4 or 5?

hi, Can I link & use this light to trigger Canon Speedlite 600EXII-RT wirelessly? thanks for your help

How about Pentax systems? K-1 for example. Will your trigger work with Pentax K-1 and what about the high speed sync?
There is no full Pentax support yet. It would still trigger in single pin mode but you would not have HSS or TTL on any of the lights. You would still have power control and firing though.
Will Cactus help in this case? For example, I buy the Fuji trigger and put it on top of my Cactus transceiver...

Well noted! Thx
@vadimyakus In the meantime Pentax support has been added in the form of the XPro-P trigger.

Got it! Thanks for the reply.
Is the modeling light bright enough to do a headshot inside a Octabox
Inside a studio environment?
IYou would be pushing it for a headshot in the softbox. f4, 1/100, iso 400.
I'm speaking of the modeling light is that light bright enough inside a sofbox or Octabox to focus?
Yes it’s bright enough to focus for sure.
Thank you so much! :)
Great, thanks
Hi! Did you sell the bag separately?
Yes we do.

thank you
Will that be compatible with my Yashica Electro 35, thanks in advance?
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!
Shipping anytime soon?
Should be shipping Monday.
Nice...
Correction: it’s + or - 75 Kelvin’s
