I am suffering from rheumatoid arthritis from age 10. Now I am 33. recently discovered rock salt bath can make relief pain. I highly recommend it from my experience. try twice a day.I also use fish oil and vitamin C. I avoid tomatoes, pineapple, soya milk. I eat lot of spinach, bell peppers and papaya. If it happens to eat tomatoes without my knowledge, I suffer a lot. then I apply apple cider vinegar to relief pain. hope someone would benefit.
You can't eat tomatoes but you can eat peppers. Do you know why? They're both nightshades
Thanks for writing those out Dr. Axe you rock!
I love this guy. He got me through adrenal fatigue/chronic fatigue. Thanks Dr Axe! ❤
I'm trying ASEA now for inflammation and pain all over my body - so we shall see how that goes. I'm 1 month in ;)
I love your teaching to help us with arthritis; THANKS AND THANKS DR
Thank you so much Dr. Axe. I have been suffering from both osteo and RA for about 3 years and had to retire from Neonatal nursing last July due to much pain. My RA doc wanted me to start on Methotrexate however I refused and decided to try more of a natural treatment. Before I started on your program for healing the gut, I took 3 tylenol QD, Plaqunil and Pyroxicam about 4 times a week as well as a muscle relaxer for spams and Diclofenac gel cream daily to get me through break through pain during the day. I am now on day 4 of an inflammatory shake with tumeric, ginger, cinnamon, blueberries, banana and flaxseed oil . I am feeling so much better already! I also made a detox soup rich with cabbage, onions, garlic, tomato, white beans, carrots, celery , fresh grated tumeric and ginger and cinnamon. So yummy and healing. Last night was the first time out of 3 days I took 1 tylenol and a muscle relaxer ~ that it for this week so far !! Sooooo very thankful for your videos and teaching. You are much appreciated~ Patty
Patty W what is your present condition???
Have you heard about niacinamide? From dr Jonathan Wright , take the pain away if you can read about him,
You need to eradicate the main cause, which is e histolytica ameoba
@@mariarodriguez8938…..I believe that’s B1 and it absolutely helps 👌🏻
Top 5 doctors on the net. Great info as always Dr Axe.
Short and to the point . Thank you Dr Axe.
Muy buen video sobre el tratamiento de la Artritis. Lo tomarè en cuenta para mi padre que ya tiene 93 años y sufre de artritis.
beverages high in organic sodium are imperative for arthritis ( okra, aloe vera juice, coconut juice, goats milk, celery and cucumber juice, dandelion root tea and strawberries are great sources of organic sodium which makes up one hundred percent of the synovial fluids that lubricate the joints ) also take moringa as it is awesome and quickly helps arthritis pain, and for sure learn and practice proper food combining for better digestion
Raw unpasteurised organic goat milk from. Ellie's dairy online if your in England.
Everything else yes, especially moringa.
Ashwaghnada, frankincense and hops extract for immediate relief and yes. Moringa is awesome.
DMSO if your diet is. Very clean add to smoothie with bottle (never tap water) because it's three times stronger than MSM and there's more sulphur in moringa then almost anything in the plant kingdom.
You need to eradicate the main cause, which is e histolytica ameoba
Once again, a very helpful video. Thanks so much!
I suffered off and on for five years. Last year it got much worse and my hips hurt most of the time, knee off and on, and my hands started to stiffen up. I was taking all the right supplements but eating a normal diet of fresh vegetables, fruit, grains, nuts, seeds, fish and rarely any added sugar. Then it moved into my lower back and I thought I was sunk. I do a lot of heavy lifting and I'm self employed. All my research led me to the keto diet with no dairy. A month in and all the pain and inflammation in my hips, knees and hands is gone. Pain in my back has gone from 8/10 to 2/10 and sometimes zero. I tried some cheese last weekend on both Saturday and Sunday and some of the pain returned so no more dairy for me. Anyone suffering from chronic arthritis pain should give the keto diet a close look. Won't hurt to try it for a few weeks and you'll probably lose a few pounds too. It's fantastic for weight loss.
Where to get the correct keto diet
Meat isn’t anti-inflammatory
@@seitanbeatsyourmeat666 It's now 4 years since my post. 4 years where I'm pain free, climbing mountains, maintaining a proper weight, building muscle mass etc. Please tell me again how eating meat doesn't help with inflammation He/him/they/them Keyboard Warrior
@@johnnypenso9574 hi, were you eating carbs/ grains prior to going keto when you had joint pain? Are you diagnosed with OA or RA ? Thanks
@@tr6151 OA. Like most people my diet was grain-based but mostly whole grains. Whole grain breads, lentils, rice, oat groats, spelt groats etc. I ate very little meat and red meat only about once a month. The pain was excruciating at times. Trying to get out of my truck after a one hour drive was so bad I couldn't actually get my left leg out o the truck on its own I had to physically lift it out.
Now I eat no grains, most of my diet is animal products, and for the last month exclusively so.
Thanks a lot Dr. Axe.
We appreciate what you are doing for us :-).
Thank you Dr Axe, love your videos and information.
THANK YOU! VERY HELPFUL!

This is such a good content. In my line of work I meet a lot of people with arthritis and unfortunately doctors don't treat it but throw painkillers at the patients who at the end are still in pain... At the same time this patients have really bad diet so I'm stealing your knowledge and I'm working with my patients to create healthy eating patterns. Thanks for the good work.
Thank You Dr. Axe!!!
Thank you verry verry much!! God bless you!
Thank you so much for being the new innovative doctor not Pharmacitical doctor. These days doctor just write killer pills to fix one thing but then cause anotissue. Your the type of doctor I wish I had. As a doctor you went opposite and suggested natural remedies in foods and supplements Thant can work and why. Then the list below is even more awesome. 👍👌
Hi Dr Axe so nice to listen to your advise because you are working with my sweet Dr Rubin.

Thank you Dr. Axe, you are a life saver. I was recently diagnosed with degenerative disk disease (arthritis), and all the Dr. could talk about is surgery. I did some research and added bone broth made with pasture fed bones and most of the foods you talk about in your video, and surprise, surprise, in less than a month my symptoms have subsided.
Keep up the good work Dr. Axe, we need more Drs. like you who teach people to take control of their health through diet and exercise, rather than going under the knife.
God Bless.
Ronnie Mead Thanks so much for your support and thanks for sharing your testimony! I'm so glad these recommendations were helpful for you!

Josh I purchased a liquid container of bone broth. Is this alright?
Most of this is very accurate. One thing I discovered the hard way, is that less than 1% of the population has high acetylcholine levels. In my case I was really loading up on Omega-3's and that is too much for someone who for whatever reason has high acetylcholine levels. It can be hard to get accurate information about this but it is real. I do eat some Omega-3 foods which help, such as wild caught salmon and sardines, and even eggs. But for me the flax seeds, fish oil supplements, etc. were too much and I had to cut them out. But like I said this is the exception the vast majority of people will benefit from lots of Omega-3 rich foods and supplements.
MSM in supplement has helped me tremendously!
Thanks for bringing that up, Cindy! You may find this article interesting: draxe.com/nutrition/msm-supplement/?

I love all of your videos and articles! I'm also surprised on how you comment back to people.... So, I thought I'd ask you a question! :-) My nine year old nephew was diagnosed with a tethered spine and they are wanting to do surgery on him at Children's hospital. My sister and I have both been searching for a more natural approach to this and I was wondering if there is anything that you can recommend?

This is so helpful!!! I've been suffering with mild RA since I was 17 (i say mild because it's mostly localized to my right hand, with rare flare-ups on my entire right side). Now at 25 my right hand is sore and stiff every morning when I wake up, and continues to cause problems throughout the day. I am definitely going to try switching up my diet, and trying some of these supplements :)
hows your RA now?
Niacinamide 3 times a day , 1000 mgs, give you a break in pain too
