- HERE'S TEN COOL FACTS ABOUT CREATURES FROM 1982. SOME COOL THINGS, SOME TECHNICAL THINGS AND EVEN A COUPLE OBVIOUS FACTS (IF YOU ARE A DEEP FAN) BUT ALL OF THESE FACTS ARE SINGULAR TO THIS AMAZING ALBUM. THANKS FOR WATCHIN' !
Loving these info clips! Creatures is an amazingly cohesive album considering the amount of studio musicians present.
You know it ,our friend.
Fact #11 the album rocks hard
Eric nailed that I still love you bassline
Creatures is 1 of the strongest Kiss albums in their catalogue. I like it more than everything else except LIU,Dynasty RARO,LG, and their debut album..
Really digging these! And on the subject of CREATURES OF THE NIGHT... Paul Stanley was on Howie Mandel's podcast a little over a year ago, and Howie Mandel brought up how Gene Simmons brought him and some other people into the studio to sing backup on WAR MACHINE. Paul said something to the effect that Gene had entered his "schmoozing" phase, and it wasn't uncommon for him to do things like this (And you definitely got the feeling that the rest of the band were more than a little "mildly annoyed" with it all). I'd like to believe that somewhere that track with Mandel singing still exists just for the absurdity of it all...
Cool! I noticed that Dave Whitman who had been their engineer off and on ever since I think they ever first recorded it electric lady helps on backups on I love it loud. That's pretty cool too.
Checked out B.T.O. version of RnRH after watching this video thinking it wouldn't sound that close, but DAMN!!
Yeah Vallance really shopped it around. Prob like Paul shopping Hide Your Heart around to different peeps. To me the Kiss version shows the quality that they always strived for which is the quality that makes their albums so special -PT
@@anywayyousliceitreviews yeah I totally prefer the KISS version! It just sounds like a Gene song from the get-go!
I gotta say, between you guys and Dan Delaney, I've learned more in the past 6-8 months about the band I've been a fan of since '77 than in all the years before!!
@@mikepratt6481 I think that's awesome. I have a friend who wasn't really a kiss fan at all and he checked our first couple episodes out and now he's full on kiss crazy haha. It's cool to spread the word 💜
@mikepratt6481 without a doubt!
