mais c est trop cher. Après faut relativiser on a vu ce que cela contenait sympa de l avoir vu, est-ce vraiment indispensable ? Ça date aussi, çà nous rajeunit pas ,j ai vu ce concert en France . J en ferai pas une maladie , certains l on acheter sont déçus la qualité n y est pas Pas de regrets .

I saw this tour twice, sioux falls and kansas city fresh out of high school and traveling to tours, I have seen them over 30 times! This was a great tour, not the best but up there! great job on the video!
The big blue envelope you showed it’s inside out so if you just fold it back the other way it will show the KISS logo correctly. Awesome box set, thanks for sharing.

My goodness. It doesn’t feel that long ago. It still feels fresh. It’s my second favourite KISS album , following Destroyer. I’m thinking about getting the 3 lp box , to add to my worn out original and my reissue. These kind of boxes only comes in small numbers here. But the triple is widely available. Give it a spin bro ! 6:24 that pic u show n mention was put in a hard rock magazine back in the day, prior to the release of Creatures with a few words about how KISS were coming back with the original hard rock sound they started out with.. That pic was condensed to a tiny 3" x 2" pic in the mag.. I was stoked!

Just got mine. Great investment. I wasn't sure about buying it because the steep price we get to import this box to brazil but my girlfriend ordered me to buy it and that's why I love her.
That item is a little desk notepad holder given out as a promo I'm assuming to employees. They pop up from time to time on ebay
I did get the double cd set , but not getting the massive BOXSET just why to much money. But do think that CREATURES OF THE NIGHT is one of their best ever releases.

I can't of many bands doing anniversary editions of their albums apart from Kiss.

I would've loved the inclussion of the 1985 mix as an standalone disc in this set.
Only a handful of tracks were remixed in 85 and they were featured. Now a Remix tho would’ve been interesting!

Great album and the end of Ace. This is where I jumped off Kiss after my teen obsession. In fact this album was so elusive i had to buy on cassette.
They should have used the tweaked album cover with Vinnie Vincent, who co-wrote some of the songs and plays lead guitar on almost every track. Plus, the album was mostly promoted with him in the band anyway.
Nice box, but didn't most of those pictures came out already? I Love KISS but 360 euros for a 5 cd box is way too expensive to my liking. I listened to the box on Tidal (Hifi Plus) and I don't hear any difference with the 2014 mix. I don't think the demos are good and the audio quality of the live show is not that good. Yes, it's nice too have the book etc, but is it worth the extra € 270 ,-- ? (given one CD normally costs around € 18) I guess KISS wants to earn some extra cash before they call it quits.
Majority is of the opinion Creatures is the best song on the album.

It would be nice if you could get the bluray audio disc on its own. I ordered the 3 LP set from the Kiss site but would have also bought the bluray audio to have as well.
The Bluray is shitty to the max. PCM 96/24 is o.k. but the Dolby Atmos and 5.1 are heavily lacking volume and there‘s not really a noticeable separation in the 5.1 mix. Absolutely pointless disc.

Things got tense for me when he was flipping through the Gotham City News. Im whispering to myself; "careful...careful..." 😀 I like the idea, but it's way too fragile.
They should of done something like this for the elder too instead of those limited edition vinyl rereleases.

Why would you like your finger to thumb through the 'newspaper' pages? From a collectors aspect leaving this release unopened is the best way to keep it. But if you're going to open it that's fine too. There are some common sense ways to keep the items inside mint and wetting your fingers to thumb through that very thin paper is not it. Nor is how you kinda handled them either. Anyway cool boxed set, appreciate you doing this! Oh and you talking about the stage sound effects brought back some memories. I saw this tour, it was pretty awesome.
Incidentally in a very rare photo that showcased Paul with a very tight and rounded Afro it’s an extremely rare photograph I have two in my collection and by the unmasking Kiss you can see the remnants of this tight Afro that was still kinky, What motivated Paul to get an Afro perplexes me till this day…

I’ve always wondered why Gene has chosen each variation of his makeup over the decades. He sticks with it for a tour, then tweaks it slightly (and then sticks with that for a bit). I don’t think he ever did a major makeup variation in the middle of a tour. The shorter bottom horns do look cool on the COTK tour.
@@thomascunningham2919 I heard on the nights he was recording for Alive 2 he changed his makeup slightly on purpose,you can see it on the album cover ,he doesn’t put a point on the top of the bridge of his nose.
@@reubensane5539 I do remember that Alive II variation now. I always thought that makeup looked pretty rough from wear and tear on stage, and the photo was very grainy. But it added to the spookiness. That variation also didn’t seem to last very long. I feel on the current tour, his makeup is too small for his face.

5 CDs, a Blu-ray and a bunch of paper crap for - here we have to pay - 350,00 bucks. Wtf?!? Do they really think we need all this posters, stickers, picks.... teenager things? Way to expensive. 120 would be ok, but not three times the price.

Probably my favorite kiss album next to destroyer ,rock ‘n’ roll over and alive. Nice box set but not for me. Too much stuff. I will never see it again after the first time if anything I will get the two disk set.

Kiss’s change in sound & reinvention for the 80’s owed a ton to Vinnie Vincent’s songwriting.
Kiss wouldn’t have sounded like they did if it wasn’t for Vinnie Vincent.
Paul was clearly trying to still write Disco/Rock songs.
Gene was becoming completely dependent on a co-writer.
Eric was a drummer.
The change/growth in Kiss’s songwriting came from Vinnie Vincent.
Some articulate it as “Saved Kiss”, I’m not sure how you would argue, Vinnie Vincent gave them a new musical direction?
Vinnie Vincent, unlike Ace, was a more prolific songwriter and collaborator, where he had the ability to write with both Paul & Gene, that gave the band a more “unified” sound.
Good video but the box set is to expensive, over 300 dollar, come on.

I got the album in 1982, never liked it. kiss tried to be a heavy metal band. the drums were way too loud. they lost their
classic rock sound and I lost interest in the band.
I got the album in 1982 too, and loved it. Then I started buying the back catalog and thought Ace and Pete sucked and I was glad the 70s were over.

@@vicklagina Lick It Up went double platinum. Most Kiss fans say that Creatures is the best Kiss album. They had their biggest concert in Rio with Vinnie. VVI first album sold 1.6 million and was all over MTV. You will agree that Creatures & Lick It Up were vast improvements over Unmasked & The Elder. Not to mention that Ace & Peter didn't even play on half their records in the 70's. So, yeah, I'd say Vinnie had a big part in re-establishing Kiss with some credibility. You just don't like him because he was the most talented Kiss member of all time. Even Jew Stanley and Jew Simmons admit that.

I do hear Kiss fans talk of Creatures & Lick very highly, but I don't hear much of anything from them regarding the following albums. Maybe because they never were musically as good as the Vinnie era. The ticket sales were LOW because Kiss were a bad joke in the industry and had to be built up again and restored to a good rock band. Mr. Vincent and his songwriting helped them achieve this. If not for him, they might have disappeared altogether?

First VVI album sold 1.6 million and All Systems Go (which is one of the best metal records made) went gold and had Love Kills which hit #1 on MTV requested videos in 1988. Vinnie is a shredder and his music was not the type of music that would get heavy airplay on the radio. And yeah, without the jews, I wouldn't know Vinnie. Thank God he came along and saved them from the abyss that they put themselves into. And HEY! They also brought him back for three more for Revenge which btw, was another good record for them. As for their other records they made after him, I wouldn't spit on them.

wrong, its not the same size and like everything else is clearly marked with epic rights, people said the same bullshit about the new lunchbox and memos 5 years ago and they had no effect on the real ones
