Excellent looking recipe! Love squash… gonna be trying this recipe for my first time cooking this Kabocha or Buttercup Squash after finding it in the grocery store this fall.
Just made this and it was great! Used venison Italian sausage mix, added one Bartlett pear with my Empire apples (the pear needed to be used). Also used the full ten ounce package of fresh spinach. Great taste combo, we will make this again. Thanks for the recipe.

Kabocha Squash. If it is hard to cut, microwave it for a minute or two minutes to make it easier to cut.
