Happy New Year! The interior design, itself, of that Code cocktail bar was intriguingly stylish! I never heard of that temple at the end, but that place looked amazing to be at! I could weirdly spend hours just tossing breadcrumbs or whatever's allowed at the koi fish 😂
@@ExpatNatt Yes. Indeed. It was a little bit more than 21 hundred years ago. It is also the ancestry of my mother whose maiden last name is also Xue came from. I definitely miss it a lot and will trace my root back there someday.
It would have been actually helpful if you had given the names of the restaurants or at least the street name or a map of some sort. Also a few names where to find the markets I would have appreciated. Just a bit more of guidance.
I often don’t film when I interact with locals because I feel very rude. To me it seems if I have a camera pointed at them then the conversation doesn’t seem genuine and I feel like I am taking advantage of them 😭 I don’t know how to overcome this obstacle.
Must say you try to know China better than most Chinese, But food is only a bit part of Chinese culture. Travel hard and learn Harder to know real Chinese culture. Start from Chinese language which is the key to AI.
