      and indeed the speech had pretty potent arousing content.. the judge´s face betrayed her thoughs pretty easy as if she was thinking "this is getting more and more interesting by the second, he´s ripping them to shreds XD".. that mild smile was like " kay´ he convinced me plus I wanna see them buuuuuuurn" XD

      Part of why / how he can. is he has something similar to an eidetic / photographic memory. He can deliver a speech without the usual cuts and splices in a scene.

      Most of the speeches he gives are just spewing liberal dogma though, going completely unchallenged to make the viewer think that it must be right since there's no counterargument. Weak propaganda in the guise of entertainment.

      Pick any one of his closing statements and give a counter argument then, doesn't have to be this one. If you think it's just liberal dogma with no real truth then tell us how he's wrong. Also they're not just liberal, there's also some that are very libertarian (such as his one slamming the government for illegal wire tapping) and many conservatives are libertarians.

    OMG James Spader is definitely the best actor ever to grace our screens, granted the dialogue is amazing but he also has a major influence on the dialogue and his delivery is flawless no one can do any of his roles better than he can. His timing is impeccable. I've watched this scene a million times and that isn't even enough. Boston legal was great. William Shatner and James Spader were the best duo in television history.

    Spader was the best in this..of all the work he has done in movies...he shined in Boston Legal...everyone thinks he's so dry in humor, but his wit is the best as far as comedic timing...I love watching this show...

    Such a tragedy that there's been NOTHING like Alan Shore on TV before or since. How many times has he fought for those which society view as freaks and decent but misrepresented people? For those like me-a childfree senior being screwed by the income and property tax laws forever-no one but Boston Legal's Alan Shore could win me justice. And because there are no lawyers like him there never will be justice for those like me.

      Its absolutely true! Ted Haggard was the preacher advocating against same sex marriage while paying a male prostitute to have sex and smoke meth. The congressman was Mark Foley. Both incidents occurred in 2006.

      Cody Cody Hi Cody, I wanted the entire 7 seasons of Blacklist and throughly enjoyed it. I watched it as a marathon, same with Boston Legal. Great series, the both! I have enjoyed all of James Spader’s movies as well. He is beyond a classic. I loved his closing statement rants, master pieces of acting.

    RLS is awful. I endure it all the time. I've tried everything to get rid of it. It IS painful. People who don't suffer from it can't begin to understand it. You're definitely NOT asleep when it's happening. You CAN'T go to sleep because of it! I bet James Spader could go a long way into making it feel better or getting your mind off of it. 😉😍🤤💜

    Seriously, i have restless leg syndrome and it sucks so freaking bad. Like i burn holes in my sheets in under 6 months. It keeps you up all night and makes you unable to sit still during the day. One day a dr suggested i try a new drug for it and it was a freaking life changer. Only medicine ever that works 100% of the time.
