Don't you just love sisters! I used that paintable wall paper on walls in an apartment I rented cause the holes were so bad even after I patched them so I'm familiar with how sturdy the material is. Great thinking btw using it on a dresser. Even though I love the white, with all that newly created texture you made, ever think of adding some gilding wax to the borders on inside of the drawers. Would really pop! Nice video
That’s her sister? Ahhhhh this just made me cry watching them paint the dresser together bcuz my sister just died. NEVER before now did I ever think a furniture flip video would make me CRY. Beautiful dresser though. Great video.
beautiful 😍😍 you should get yourself one of these sanding machines, believe me, it makes life much easier 👍🤪😀 and if allow me to say, allthough your dresser turned out soooo great, I personnally would have used 2 differents colors, one for the dresser and one for the wallpaper, to give it more depth, but that's everybody's own choice and as I said, you did such a great job here 😍
P.s. I did see you paint over any of the wallpaper. You don’t clear coat it or paint it or anything? Not even to make it sort of easier to wipe off if it gets dirty or anything? Just need to know? Should I cost the wallpaper with oil based polyurethane? Or the water based kind I forget the name.. or Mod Podge?
Hi, Great project. I liked the hint to number the pieces to make sure of an even pattern flow on the drawers. ( Did you notice you have pasted some out of order and the flow isn't quite right?). Also, you just used water and not paste. (or did I miss something?) Still a great project.
First-time viewer. Loved the process. And it turned out very pretty. Thanks for sharing. (I should let you know that whatever you were saying at the very end didn't come through; all that was there was the music.)
Hi Samantha! I tried to be careful with the small brush I used around the edges, paint still got on the edges of it. But it’s fine, since the wallpaper and paint are both white! To ensure no paint would get on it, I would suggest painting and then sticking the wallpaper on
I have not tried removing! I assume it would leave glue that would have to be scraped off or sanded! I am sure there are techniques that can be used for a quick and smooth removal :)
i like what you did to dresser, just choice of oil base rust protector paint, your dresser is wood? Tell of benefits of using it, always the DIYER choice!
Hi Daisy. How are you?? It's good to see your videos. DIYs always inspire me to become creative. Have you considered doing a collab?? I would love to do a DIY with you or decorate a room.
It would have been much easier to have pasted the back of each piece with the glue and not getting it wet. Beautiful result! I hope you don’t mind but…. FYI…. Use a screwdriver to open the drawers! Great job!
Elegant look to an otherwise boring dresser. The old dresser was lacking personalithy and you changed that with fairly simple solutions. Good work.
You did a fantastic job. I have always loved textured wallpaper. This is a great idea, thank you. It looks very professional.
Thank you Carole!
It looks so good. Love the textured wallpaper addition 💜
Yes its Beautiful ,& Inspires me

Hi Isht! I didn’t coat or paint the wallpaper, it still looks just like new today!

Thank you! Yes it’s water activated wall paper, which is pre-pasted!
Looks amazing, new Subbie❤️
I’m doing this to my dresser 😁 thanks
Omg yesss! I’m still in love with it!

Thank you so much for watching and letting me know about the music ay the end!
LOVE IT!!😍
Thanks so much Yesenia!!🥰
This music is like signifying the death of an old dresser and the birth of a new one...lol
Did you paint the wall paper too? Or how did you prevent from getting paint on it?

Hi chica! First to arrive 🤗
Hey girllll🥰🥰🥰
Does it leave a mark if you’re removing it?

W done ✅ ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Muy lindo pintaste el papel o no?
No lo pinte :)
Just an FYI ..
Wait until the wallpaper dries before you trim it and then it won't tear.
Don't worry I learned that the hard way as well
Thanks so much for the tip!
@@Happierthanyu you're welcome
😉
You used a flat paint but didn't mention a top coat of any kind to protect. You may start to get some wear & tear sooner than later.
Yes you’re right!

@@Happierthanyu you are most welcome. Keep up the good work!
so am i the only one who was asking themself if she just stuck the wallpaper with only water? am i missing something?
It’s water activated wallpaper! So all I needed was water, just be sure to buy pre-pasted wallpaper. Makes projects much easier!
@@Happierthanyu oh ok lol i thought i was missing something. pre pasted wallpaper got it:) thank you for your quick reply
