I must have watched about 5 hours of color correcting/grading videos and still want to tear my hair out trying it in practice, but PG once again delivers knowledge bombs in the most understandable fashion. 🤟🏼
You're awesome as always. You won't believe how long I've been waiting for a video from you about the colour grade. Especially "Lumetri Hue Saturation Curves". I'm doing all of my colour gradings from one of the video, if you remember, about the skin tone. I decided not to upgrade to premier 2019 but now I'm no more worried about it.
Thank you for breaking down these curves into really simple creative steps. I've been shooting in Log for a little while and struggled to transition my (limited) colour correction from standard profile footage, this has been really helpful.
Thank you very much for this tutorial. This is a very practical way to color. I have been searching for months to years for a very practical video like this. Thanks a lot
Wonderfully clear and helpful: thank you. I have heard some people say that colour grading should be applied to an adjustment layer rather than the clip itself. Do you agree? Is three any advantage to this? Thanks again.
Hi! Very Nicely you Explained.. How you do the comparision of Raw Shots Vs Colorgraded Shots.. with a animated line.. Is there any Quick trick for that ?
Hi Gal... Good explanation. Just one thing which could have been shown was instead of doing an undo for any unrequired changes (resetting any changes made in the Lumetri Panel), you could have double clicked on the specific parameter in the panel required to be reset. It would reset the settings for that specific parameter to default and then we can begin to tweak again as desired.
I just heard your voice in Adobe's intro to Rush videos! So proud to have been a subscriber (under my other acct) these last three years to Premier Gal, one of Adobe's finest! I know I'm learning from the best! Thanks, Gal!
I don't think anyone on UA-cam actually understands how the Sat VS Sat one works. The way you explained it, it seems to be exactly the same as the Hue VS Sat curve. You picked a color and made it either less or more saturated. Am I missing something? What is the difference?
So happy you're taking off. I swear I'm a proto-hipster. I always find people before they're famous, lol. Glad to see you coming into your own and realizing your dreams. I wish you success! P.S. Coloring is pretty much the only thing I hate about Premiere. I wish it was a 32 bit coloring space like Davinci. Premiere color clips so fast.
Coming from the music production side of things, and new to Premiere i definitely like this technique because its like using and EQ but for colors. A1 Thanks to PG!
Hey Premiere Gal, so i bought the universe red giant a couple days ago. And the tutorial on their site has u showing how to use auto correct w “Magic Bullet, colorisa IV” and it’s no where to be found. I was wondering did they change the name of it w the update or did they remove it and why would they because it looks like it worked wonders.
I like the new look and feel of your home studio...much better now!!! Thanks for always providing good content Kelsey!!! I am one of your first subs to your channel...You are now over 100k congrats!!!!!!!
Gal which version premier you using? I'm cc 2018. I can't see those options on hue saturation curves. I can only see colour wheel

Excellent tutorial, barely five minutes in and already learnt something. Thank you, color grading has been harassing me, this has helped
Excellent video, thumbs up.
One Question- how did you put that black baar moving effect that push the old clip and bring in color graded clip.
I just did a basic scale keyframe, so from 100 scale > 200 scale.
Great info! So much simpler than what I thought, thanks so much!
Gal love you. How to set track settings. When I drag video on a particular track all video should be resized to track settings. How to setup track
