...that is not a drop step. That is more of a hop with a spin.

Nah. The video is right. That’s a drop step, do your research.

So, the ball never gets hit in front of the outfielder?

It’s does but if that happens it’s pretty simple just move foward but always take a step back

I don't understand why people teach running with a tucked glove. You run as if you don't have a glove on.

It’s so you don’t get into the habit of running with your glove out. That’s why

I agree. Run with both arms pumping and extend your glove late to make the catch. A decent outfielder can do both.

If you are a left or right fielder always drop step towards the line

Kaleb McLean that is actually not true... in most situations, people tend to hit the ball in LC, or RC, and C. Just think about it.. chances are a bit slim THE the ball will be almost exactly on the foul line if it's a far pop up or a line drive.

Maddie Marigold Wow, easy sister, it was just a statement of fact. I played Division 1 ball. I still play in competitive baseball and softball leagues. My guys would absolutely destroy her. There are just real physiological differences between the sexes.

WretchEph289 what the hell is the difference.....?! The only difference between softball and baseball are the helmets, the ball, and the infield grass. Women are capable of doing anything men to do and no matter how much you argue, there's probably no denying it.. and ik I'm only a 12u player, but I'm just saying what I know and I don't care about sexes or anything. As if anyone really did. And just because baseball is more popular, doesn't mean u get to show it off and harass girls.
