Thank you, Jennifer!! I recently lost my bonus mother(mil) and at 98 she still wore and kept her nails looking beautiful!! Her skin always looked amazing, she wore very little makeup. She had her hair “done” each week until she quit driving at 95 and she then had it cut shorter so she could take care of it herself. I’ve always looked up to her for the love she always showed and how she took care of herself. She will be missed.❤️
@C12123, What a precious comment! I love that you called her your “bonus” mother. My mom so loved her MIL too. Yours sounds like a very special lady, and I _know_ she was thankful for _you!!_ Sadly, too many MILs go unappreciated. May her beautiful spirit continue to bless y’all. 🙏🏻💖
I’m an only child and you are like an older sister I look up to. I have been following you since the beginning; since Gatsby in Santa Monica ❤️ Thank you for bringing so much guidance, elegance, and authenticity to our lives. We are lucky to have access to your channel and grateful for all of your hard work and efforts Jennifer. Also, we know this summer has been a very difficult one for you and your family, and we hope that you are healing and getting some rest 🙏🏻
One of my favorite tips for nails is to get a shiny buff (no polish) mani/pedi at the salon. When my nails need a break from polish or I know I won’t be able to keep them looking nice due to activities etc. I like to get this done. It looks very clean, tidy and like you have clear polish on -even though you don’t.
Here is a little tip for those of you who may be interested and can swing it. My husband and I discovered this quite by accident and have decided to keep this routine. About a year ago I asked my husband to drive me to and from my hair salon. I live in a town and it’s about a 15 min walk, but the weather wasn’t very nice so he drove me there and when I was ready, he came back to drive me home. What a luxury right! I enjoyed having that extra bit of pampering so much that the next time I went I asked him to chauffeur me to the salon and home again and so it goes. He is devoted to me and my grooming. I give credit to my mother in law for instilling this important value in her own husband and her children. I truly appreciate this service and willingly would do the same for him anytime. I know it isn’t always possible to arrange this but if you can, you may be able to experience greater relaxation when you visit your salon.
That’s sounds lovely! We live in Miami, traffic is crazy here, and sometimes my husband will drive me places, especially if they’re far away. It takes away the stress! I’m so thankful to him for that. ☺️
@@Thekatedelaney Yes, it’s lovely! It is difficult to find parking where we live. So, having a driver eliminates the stress of finding parking near my salon. When it is time to schedule my appointment , I check with my husband to find a time which works into his schedule. It’s a little act of kindness which goes a long way. 💇♀️
I stopped dyeing my hair some years ago - working with my hairstylist for several months for highlights and low-lights to disguise the roots growing out. It’s now all grey and I’m loving it. In my opinion, there’s nothing worse than seeing dyed hair with long, obvious grey roots because the person hasn’t maintained it. Enjoyed your video and agree with all you said!
People can henna their hair, which is a natural hair dye, and this is easy to diy once you learn to do so. Also, henna is much softer when roots grow out.
@@Sweetbeariesart I loved henna and have been using it since my first pregnancy, but I actually quit henna when my greys were starting to show up noticeably. Henna will turn your greys orange, a very bright orange. And I found it to be too time consuming, I needed to keep my henna in for a minimum of 4 hours to cover my greys. 4 hours every 2 - 3 weeks is a lot of time and effort. I’m much happier with my natural grey highlights, or silver sparkles as I like to call them.
Excellent thoughts again, Jennifer! I encourage our daughters to have an out-the-door minimalist look they can pull together with simplified hair, makeup and go-to outfit. Hats cover a multitude of issues. 🤗 All the best ladies, Julie 🌷
I dyed my "bronde" hair auburn with henna for about a decade but stopped when I had a toddler AND a newborn. Couldn't keep up with my roots, so I just let them grow in. It's been liberating not to have to keep up with coloring my hair, but the color was gorgeous and henna deep-conditioned my hair as well, keeping it super healthy and shiny. Now my kiddos are 3 and 5 and I've been thinking about going back to the henna. It's a job and one that I just couldn't do for the past few years, but man, I loved being a redhead.
I love how inclusive you were, especially regarding hair. As a woman of color I needed reminders to get myself a uniform and a look. It helps me want to go live or post videos. Thanks
Toenails grow at half the rate of fingernails, which is why pedicures can last a month. I have given up pro pedicures, my last one caused an incredible six ingrown toenails, some infected. I like to remove dead cuticle and soak and scrub my feet at least once a week, though, a month is too long. So, I take a bath, shave my legs and maintain my feet at least once per week (I hardly have any hair on my legs, so I don’t really need to shave them, anyway). This is one of the benefits of getting older, body hair dies off!
I love your transparency. Your natural, down-to-earth, and honest. I think it's so important to show when the house gets messy, bad hair days, and NO MAKEUP....."your a gem." Thank you, Jennifer. Love your videos🕊
I just finished your excellent video. Everything you said just seemed to unlock something for me. And seeing you in that messy bun was both hilarious and eye opening. I think that was when it really clicked for me. I love the way I look when it is perfect head to toe, but then life happens and I am rushing out the door in sweats and a messy bun. Going forward with a simpler routine , I should be able to be presentable. And that rambling thought gave me a brilliant idea: could you create a planner to incorporate all these routines? I have a health planner, budget planner, calendar, housework app on my phone, etc. Yesss.... of course I tried happy planners, but I never saw one like this. I want to record my water intake, weight, check off if I took my vitamins, got enough sleep, workout. Fir the house weekly and monthly tasks and a calendar for social events. Am I thinking to big? Maybe, but I will totally buy that planner. Thanks again, I really love this video.
Love these ideas! When it comes to hair I'd also like to mention and add that many of us wear wigs to help us look more presentable due to thinning hair from age, disease, and other reasons (even Covid). I was always so down on myself when it came to my thinning hair but I now have the confidence when I go out and I even have some everyday wigs that I wear in the house. It is amazing how far wigs have come these days with lace fronts and lower density (my favorite brand is Ellen Wille). I'd love for you to do a video on wigs in the future (maybe interviewing a good wig company) since I imagine many of your viewers are in the same boat that I am in. I wish there wasn't a stigma around wigs as in reality so many wear them, more movie stars, newscasters and everyday women! It feels so good to be able to wear styles I've only dreamed of before! This is a key to helping me feel put together every day!
Yes I agree that wigs are a blessing to those who are suffering from thin hair or health concerns. My aunt has one that is her go to style. I am thinking of introducing her to some other styles since they have come a long way since she first began using them.
I’m happy to learn that the bold eyebrow look isn’t so predominant anymore and a thinner brow (not as extreme as 90s-thin) is coming back into fashion because my brows are thinner and I never felt like I looked my best with a heavily penciled brow. It takes the pressure off when I’m trying to make myself presentable... using a lighter touch now. For hair, I’ve been experimenting with overnight pin curls in damp hair. It’s saving time on styling in the morning because the curls are already there. Thank you, Jennifer, for so many great tips!
Jennifer I love you!! What a breath of fresh air and such gloriously wonderful inspiration you are! I enjoy your videos so much, they are my little selfish pleasure! What a beautiful ministry! Thank You for all you are and all you bring us!
Where have you been all my life 🙌 first of all we're kindred spirits as I was raised by the quintessential 1950s housewife my grandma so these lessons were just a way of life at my house but I will always take recommendations and I've already ordered the polish and I'll be back fir more of your lovely inspirational comment 💖 my Nana would be proud 👏
During Covid, I began dying my hair myself. I think I went once afterwards and it took 3 or 4 hours in uncomfortable seats. I can get it done in 1.5 hours at home and in my opinion looks just as good as the salon. While my hair is processing, I can work. I get a hair cut about 2 a year, just a trim. My new endeavor is doing my nails at home. I have gone to salons for years but is also takes a long time. Both this things save me over $4k a year in my area.
Looking after ourselves and then liking what we see when we look in the mirror is so good for our emotional/mental health. I know the 'after' version of me puts a smile on my face and I'm ready to go out and face the world!
Love the realistic approach. Your advise is always spot on and doable...but because it is so applicable it really does help elevate how you live. We appreciate you ❤
Jennifer, your advice inspires me to be better, therfore motivates me to help guide my little sister through her transitions in age, she is now 11, such a tender age. Thank you for the time, effort, and willingness to share.
I am outside gardening and working on my landscaping or refinishing the woodwork in my home, repairing cracks in my ceilings ect. I love getting my hands dirty and a job well done. I also want to look my best and dress nicely. I agree that keeping up with hair coloring and make up boosts confidence and celebrates my feminine side! Looking good for my husband is a top priority as well! Thanks for your videos!
I recommend tinted sunscreen for down days. I love IT brand, but the holy grail for many is ulta MD, which you can get at Walmart, Sephora, Amazon. It has a great SPF. MyChelle is also a great softer coverage, but I'm not fond of its watery consistency. I really love The Ordinary products. Inexpensive anti-aging skincare. If you can afford it, go with Agency. Tretinoin, hydroquinone...etc. Amazing results without going to the dermatologist. Also, CereVe is really a great moisturizer. Face and body. I've found that I splurge on Agency and save everywhere else.
Great recommendations! I’m a big fan of MyChelle, and wish their tinted moisturizer had worked better for you. Maybe the product needs to be shaken first? Just a thought. I’ve been using MyChelle spf 28 coconut sunshield under my foundation and it works beautifully.
Love it! And I think you mentioned in there a foot file? Let me tell you a short story! For years I've been inconsistent with body exfoliation...it's more a summer thing for me. As a result my feet have always been dry...particularly in winter. Until til recently. I found these French clay stones (it's by an Aussie beauty store I found online called Pryshan beauty). I bought a pack for face and body. They look so pretty on the slate holder they came with. But basically you use the face stone twice a week with your cleanser and the body one every day with your favorite shower gel and away you go. It's minimal effort and my feet and arms, legs here in the thick of winter look summer ready already! It's really easy to clean and the stones last up to 20 years. Not a plug, just an exciting discovery! I love when personal maintenance is made easy to sustain! ☺️💕
Hello Jennifer these are all great tips.Im a 56year old.I have been growing out my hair going to its natural grey.At times i cringe at the sight. But keeping it in a neat pony tail helps.I always wear just a touch of makeup it help.
@@lorraineguidetti7602 same here I use brewed coffee to touch up my crown. I learned the hard way your tight pony tail causes rim breakage. Try a loose pony or a head band. Use a multi vitamin w collagen 💞
I completely agree with these sentiments! If we want a particular treatment, we must make the time/ finances available to maintain said treatment. I have been unkept looking from overgrown hair highlights, chipped nails, and sparse false lashes! Now I keep things more simple and DIY so I can maintain a well kept but more natural appearance.
I appreciate your influence, your product suggestions and your guidance, Jennifer. Over the past 9 months I have completely transitioned to Londontown. I am grateful for your suggestion of their illuminating concealer. My weekly routine for my fingers is the strengthening base coat, 1 coat of the illuminating concealer and the gel top coat. I do my toes twice a month, using the base coat, Protecting Nail Veil Color and gel top coat. Thank you for always keeping your readers informed and motivated.
Isn’t Londontown incredible? I pretty much dumped my other polishes (including Essie Mademoiselle, which, unfortunately, wrecked my nails) for Londontown. The nail concealers and veils are now my favorite products because they make manicures and pedicures stress-free, and I get more compliments than when I wear colored polish. 💅🏻They will be perfect when I travel so my base coat won’t take up room in the liquids bag.
@@alexandraeverafter1015 Yes!!! Londontown nail veil is the only color I have worn on my toes that has not caused discoloration and damage. I am hooked on the concealers, as well!
I also use Londontown (only knowing about it because of Jennifer) - I now cannot use anything else. It is the best! Thanks for sharing your routine as well!
I was feeling very tried today. I had to take my dog to the vet and got the time wrong. When I realized, I had to rush to get out the door in mins. It was perfect, I grabbed my Ann Taylor denim A- line skirt, the Rungolee pink top that you have Jennifer, and some cute slide on shoes. I grabbed my dog and headed out the door. Without my simple organized closet I would have been even more frazzled and stressed in an already stressful moment:). Thanks for the help, Iv been following your way for about 3 years now!
Just a little information, thin outer eyebrows can be a sign of a thyroid condition. If you want your thyroid checked, asked you doctor for a full thyroid panel. It'll check all the levels and look for two autoimmune disorders(Hashimoto's and Grave's).I've had Hashimoto's for years and my eyebrows were one of my symptoms. Love your video
Another tip would be to make appointments for 6 months or one year stretches. That way you have more time to plan on a sitter for the kids or being off from work etc.
For rough heels, try Amylactin lotion everyday for a couple weeks. It is pretty amazing in terms of sloughing off dead skin without having to use a file. I use it on my legs and feet everyday.
I appreciate the "real" approach to keeping up with our beauty routines. As a working Mom I too find it very difficult to keep up with beauty appointments. I do manage to get my grey's professionally colored every 6 weeks but, face and nails I've learned to do on my own. Thank you Jennifer for the videos on DIY mani's I've learned so much from them. I am thinking of trying Olive & June DIY kit for mani's. Have you ever tried them?
Nice content and as a former hairdresser there are ways of simplifying upkeep ....if you’re trying to grow the gray out have the hairdresser use semi permanent until you get to a desired length where you can get a nice cut and then let it wear off completely ( optional weave in silver highlights) For those that like highlights only get a partial amount distributed throughout the hair after that only have the roots done regularly for three or four months ( or longer) then just add another partial amount before long it’s just maintenance and you still get your little perky highlights 😊
Keeping up with maintenance is advice that should be given out more often. I would add, to see what you can learn to maintain yourself. About a decade ago I learned how to lighten and tone my roots to match the platinum blonde I had at the time and how to fill my own acrylic nails. I don't do either of those styles anymore, but my friends were amazed at how much money I was saving.
Yet another amazing video. You My Dear, are so inspirational. When I grow up, I want to be like you. Currently in the process of owning and feeling comfortable with my femininity. Thank you for all of your beautiful and inspiring content.
I like how you relate your advice to yourself, for instance how you deal with your hair when you do not like the way it looks on a particular day. An opportunity was missed however to refer the regular washing of wigs for people who are perhaps dealing with hair loss. We all have some sort of scalp which deserves care! Likewise with skincare, there are some issues that cannot be reversed or totally disguised but we can all feel better about our appearance with individual self-care tailored to ourselves, this is not vanity in my opinion. Finally, nails, clean and not lethally sharp is my preference! Your videos are so enjoyable, please keep on entertaining us with your insights.
I really appreciate your videos, you have a lovely manner and seem to be a really good person. I appreciate you are busy, a busy mumma no less, so I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. You give realistic advice and have given me lots of inspiration since I started watching you. Thank you Jennifer, I really do appreciate you! 😘💋❤
I like to keep things simple to keep up with maintenance. I just use a cuticle remover on my nails and paint them clear. Understated, elegant, and most importantly easy! I love that white dress. I think I've developed a flowy, white dress obsession.
I love that you say to personalize it and make it work for you. My hairdresser suggests that I wash my hair every 2 days, but I know for thick or curly hair less is more. Same with skincare and nails. I save foundation for going out but daily I do apply skincare and a lip color. Those are my rules :D
Thank you so much for the inspiration as always! I would love to hear your tips on staying presentable during the summer / heat.. I always feel so frazzled when i am starting to sweat and find it a bit hard to figure it all out!
Great video Jennifer! I also accepted my grey hairs recently. And I'm in my 30's! It's so fashionable to have rainbow hair now and try everything that's out there. But it's been 2 years now and I couldn't love myself more. It's coming for all of us sooner or later. I asked myself how do I want to greet it? With grace in an organic way, showing my gradual real age, or faking it till I can't no more? ;)
This video is perfect! I really enjoy planning my days that I do all my grooming. I’ve been doing it for months now and it’s just a habit. I chemically treat my hair and overtime I just taught myself how to relax my hair every eight weeks. It’s saved me so much time and money.
Sorry for the late reply. Over processing can be fixed with time. Deep condition each wash and get a good trim. Try a light protein leave in but don’t over do protein. I think 12 weeks is perfect. Try look up Dolce Dawn here on UA-cam. She talks about over processed relaxed hair and how to manage it. I hope this helps and good luck with your hair journey ❤️.
Great Video. Out of curiosity, how do you orgainize your jewelry? I am looking for a better method than I have now, which is where the jewelry shares a space with my sewing stuff. I have looked around at different options and haven't found one that I really liked, but I am curious what your set up looks like.
These are all excellent practical tips that aren't usually overlooked but normally not applied to a daily regime by many chasing current trends. Easy, natural and consistent practice with what you have will always work best for woman when they understand their hair and skin dynamics. Its usually not so hard once you figure it out. Your video is perfect to inspire someone obtain the perfect beauty routine that is attainable in everyday life. I will always believe less is more and practice makes perfect.
.....Very good Video, Miss Jennifer, on this continuing Topic. ... I " wrap my hair up " at night and wear a satin or silk sleep cap, since my hair is long and it's hard on your hair, to be sleeping on it.... even if you do use a satin or silk pillowcase. I just touch it up with the curling iron, and it's good to go. Some days I do only wear sunscreen, lip gloss, " put on my eyebrows " ( as I affectionately call it ,lol. They are very light and disappear if I don't use eyebrow products) . ...but always wear perfume, ( or a body spray ) even if I'm working on projects around home. It is about Preparation, that's such a good point, sometimes I think we need to " trick our mind " into that ,.... depending on one's Lifestyle, Life phase, etc. A good reminder ....that IT IS about Preparation. I hope to order your books next month , what a treat for the Winners, to get a signed copy, Congratulations to them ! Enjoy a lovely weekend, and your Travel plans. Travel Prayers said. 🙏🏻 🙂😊✨️💗
I think you're doing a great job with your "brand. " it was nice that you read the passage from your book at the end. (Frankly I have not ordered it yet, but I will.) I find you on TED 😁
I enjoy watching your videos! You have been an inspiration to me, I started intermittent fasting a month ago and I have lost 10 lbs. I love how you make everything simple and Manageable with your wardrobe, self care and diet. Thank you so much for sharing ! You are a lovely lady!💕🌹
@@ODEY-G0 Thank you. I usually never eat after supper which ends between 6 and 6:30 so by 9 in the morning I’m hungry. I can only seem to go 14 hours without eating. Must be that 2 hours makes a difference
I am setting up a standing 3 month appt to get my hair done. I always neglect it and it’s time that I prioritize that. I think if the appt is already on the books I’m more likely to go.
When u showed your nails clip from a prior video I was like oh that’s nice looking. Then that gorgeous cake a tea clip came up and I was like 🤩🤩. Priorities lol
Thank you for this encouraging video, Jennifer! I ordered Londontown’s Cactus Coral the other day, using your code- thanks so much! Im looking forward to seeing how it looks on my nails. I *think* we have similar skin tones, so I’m hopeful I will like the way it looks on me. 😊
Could you please make a video where you buy good quality dresses (like the white one)? Your videos are very helpful and helped me to figure out where to buy good pajamas/chemises in the USA. Thanks Jennifer!
Haha that's why I don't do a lot of those things, because having that feeling of "being on the carousel" of needing to go back to the salon is so stressful for me!
Hello, I get greezy hair on day 3. Sometimes I wash it then or I use a natural dryschampoo in powderform. That is really good when you do not have the time.
There are many jobs and workplaces where it's impossible to look amazing all the time. Some poeple have low incomes and disabilities as well to consider. I think just being clean with clean clothes is sometimes a good goal for them. Progress, not perfection.
Thanks for this video about being polished. What a great reminder as we come out of a hibernation of sorts. I love your necklace and nail polish so will try both. ❤️ 🇨🇦
Other things that make your skin glow are vitamin B complex. You could just take vitamin B12 on its own but I prefer the complex which is all of the types of vitamin B. They also help with stress . 😊
Henna hair dye is so much more healthy than conventional hair dye. I have learned to diy henna hair treatments over the year. The plus is henna looks much softer when your roots grow in.
I love getting the notification when you upload ❤️ Great video, Jennifer! I also just downloaded the Polish Your Poise audiobook and am looking forward to listening to it on my commute to work!
Thanks so so much Jennifer, you are such a gem. Also, a very small constructive feedback, one day perhaps you may want to upgrade your microphone. It definitely sounds more hollow and echoey than some other vlogs. But he content is spot on!
Would love to hear more details about your nail routine! I find it impossible to keep up. I try at home but it seems to never dry and yet I have to do things with 3 young kids around, and then it gets smudged and unappealing. If I made sure to not move for 45 minutes and dry it, then it will chip the next day from doing dishes etc. I would love to have beautiful nails and started using londontown thanks to your advice but it's basically the same
Try just tidying them and using almond oil as a conditioner. I used a clear base coat only at this stage. It was actually a nail strengthener (OPI Nail Envy) so did double duty - shiny AND strong! It meant I could leave it much longer when tight for time and it didn't really look grim if chipped a little.
I recently locked my hair (just a FYI some people don’t use the term dreadlocks because of the connotation that it’s dreadful by the British during colonialism, but I understand that this is not widely known since I just learned about it recently and always used the word locked). Nonetheless, I totally agree with the simple approach too! The reason I locked my hair because it made it so much easier to get up and go and still feel put together! Also I am team bare nails because I hate when the paint chips or when the nail grows out and I don’t have time to go get it maintained. It also feels empowering for me to do my own beauty maintenance.
Good morning! I’ve actually been wanting to ask you about the topic of hair. I, like you, only wash my hair twice a week and it looks great the first day having curled it but I struggle with making it look good throughout the week. I’ve noticed in your weekly vlogs your hair looks great throughout the week…Do you re-curl your hair every day? I would love to see a 3-4 day vlog of you going through how you take care of and re-style your hair every day to get a better idea of how to make myself look more presentable every day!
Thank you for the request! I typically don't re-curl my hair until the next time I wash it. But my hair holds curls really well and I spray the curls with hairspray...
Love the video! I'd like to add my two tips. If you want long lashes, try Lash Boost from Rodan + Fields. Yes, it is pricey. But.....way cheaper than maintaining eyelash extensions. I don't use it every day, but 3x per week. Yes, it takes time for them to start growing, but once they do - great! The other thing I do is use Londontown KUR in the pink. Yes, I use 3 coats, but it makes your nails look great and like J said, chips aren't as bad. I also use Nail Magic as a base and top coat. So yes, 5 coats but it's worth it! Londontown is $, but the KUR is a little cheaper and a good intro to the brand.

How long does it last?

I stopped dyeing my hair some years ago - working with my hairstylist for several months for highlights and low-lights to disguise the roots growing out. It’s now all grey and I’m loving it. In my opinion, there’s nothing worse than seeing dyed hair with long, obvious grey roots because the person hasn’t maintained it. Enjoyed your video and agree with all you said!
People can henna their hair, which is a natural hair dye, and this is easy to diy once you learn to do so. Also, henna is much softer when roots grow out.
I stopped dying my hair as well and it has been the best decision. Life is easier without the extra cost and time of all that.
Me too, silver sisters! Let's be natural and proud!

It is the best way to go. Only keep what you need in your makeup bag and focus on good grooming.
Jennifer… please do a review on the London Town illuminators… both shades. I love nails on neutral shades.💜
As a blonde girl every time I don't wear mascara I get asked non stop if I am sick 🙄. So I always wear it
I love your transparency. Your natural, down-to-earth, and honest.
I think it's so important to show when the house gets messy, bad hair days, and NO MAKEUP....."your a gem."
Thank you, Jennifer.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for the request ♥️
What a wonderful idea!!! Thank you for sharing!! ❤❤

What a good idea for Jennifer to interview a wig company. That would be really interesting.
Yes, I've been thinking lately about getting at least a 'topper' to cover some of this hair loss (I think it's partly from Covid , back in January).
..thank you, Jennifer....very good tips...I've always attempted to put my best foot forward...
I'm crying because Revlon ™ just filed chapter 11 😥
Press on nails are a lifesaver! So quick and easy to apply, and you can practically switch up your look everyday.
Love the realistic approach. Your advise is always spot on and doable...but because it is so applicable it really does help elevate how you live. We appreciate you ❤
I love how meticulous and logical your advice is.....such a good series and worthy of a book.
Love your tips! Ty
Love the Londontown illuminating concealer...game changer with natural look!
Hello Jennifer these are all great tips.Im a 56year old.I have been growing out my hair going to its natural grey.At times i cringe at the sight. But keeping it in a neat pony tail helps.I always wear just a touch of makeup it help.
I bet you look amazing!
@@TheDailyConnoisseur Thankyou for your kind words
@@lorraineguidetti7602 same here I use brewed coffee to touch up my crown. I learned the hard way your tight pony tail causes rim breakage. Try a loose pony or a head band. Use a multi vitamin w collagen 💞
I completely agree with these sentiments! If we want a particular treatment, we must make the time/ finances available to maintain said treatment. I have been unkept looking from overgrown hair highlights, chipped nails, and sparse false lashes! Now I keep things more simple and DIY so I can maintain a well kept but more natural appearance.
Natural enhancements with Nutrition are Jennifer's Hallmark
Wonderful, it's the art of being a lady! I think of it as another way of daily pampering myself! Thanks Jennifer 😊
Love the message here! These little things are great ways to feel good!
I got my husband hooked on this stuff too. It's great. And cheap.
Watching this with a top knot hot mess bun, ha! Obviously needed to hear this!
Nice content and as a former hairdresser there are ways of simplifying upkeep ....if you’re trying to grow the gray out have the hairdresser use semi permanent until you get to a desired length where you can get a nice cut and then let it wear off completely ( optional weave in silver highlights)
For those that like highlights only get a partial amount distributed throughout the hair after that only have the roots done regularly for three or four months ( or longer) then just add another partial amount before long it’s just maintenance and you still get your little perky highlights 😊
I love this kind of video! Thank you so much!
Ooh, thanks for thinking of different hair types ☺️
Keeping up with maintenance is advice that should be given out more often. I would add, to see what you can learn to maintain yourself. About a decade ago I learned how to lighten and tone my roots to match the platinum blonde I had at the time and how to fill my own acrylic nails. I don't do either of those styles anymore, but my friends were amazed at how much money I was saving.
You cracked me up so bad with your frumpy look. I liked the nail color you had on.
😆
Thank you for being real in this video and offering simple, do-able advice!
You seriously look like you’re in your 20’s! So beautiful!
Thank you!
Such a pretty&feminine look. The straight hair is very flattering.
Oh your necklace is so beautiful!
I like to keep things simple to keep up with maintenance. I just use a cuticle remover on my nails and paint them clear. Understated, elegant, and most importantly easy!
I love that white dress. I think I've developed a flowy, white dress obsession.
Yes! Team bare nails too!! Hi Britney, from Brittany!
@@MoNATUREnique lol hey there 😊
Thanks!
I love that you say to personalize it and make it work for you. My hairdresser suggests that I wash my hair every 2 days, but I know for thick or curly hair less is more. Same with skincare and nails. I save foundation for going out but daily I do apply skincare and a lip color. Those are my rules :D
The aesthetic of this video was so pleasurable to watch, great tips as always. Also the white dress and pearl necklace look stunning on you. Thank you
Thank you so much for the inspiration as always! I would love to hear your tips on staying presentable during the summer / heat.. I always feel so frazzled when i am starting to sweat and find it a bit hard to figure it all out!
I would like this too! I live in Hawaii and it’s warm/hot all year round, but I feel a mess in the summer.
A hat, sunglasses, fan packed in my bag help me a lot. Natural fiber loose clothing.
Can you give me some tips please. My stylist over processed my hair. Already cut a quarter off.Looking to starting relaxing at home every 12 weeks
@@joysilas4724 thank you 💞
Great Video. Out of curiosity, how do you orgainize your jewelry? I am looking for a better method than I have now, which is where the jewelry shares a space with my sewing stuff. I have looked around at different options and haven't found one that I really liked, but I am curious what your set up looks like.
Hi Jennifer, I've been using the Londontown Illuminating Nail Concealer in pink thanks to you and I love it! Great video as usual 😊

I think you're doing a great job with your "brand. " it was nice that you read the passage from your book at the end. (Frankly I have not ordered it yet, but I will.) I find you on TED 😁
This video brought me a lot of joy. Such practical and sound advice. You are very gifted my lady! Stay chic
Thank for the video Jenifer , I will like to know your thoughts about Botox and filler’s ? Would you try these treatments?

I am setting up a standing 3 month appt to get my hair done. I always neglect it and it’s time that I prioritize that. I think if the appt is already on the books I’m more likely to go.
Thank you we all know this but great reminder to keep up our daily routines to look our best or presentable
My 3 daily must-dos are tinted SPF, curled lashes bc I have short straight lashes, lip color to bring life to my face.
Great video as always. One product I have found that heals cracked heels is Burt’s Bees’ coconut foot crème.
Looove that white jacket, I had to order it STAT! Looks really nice on you.
Thank you so much for the motivation Jennifer.
Thank you for watching, Brigid!
Jennifer your hair is absolutely beautiful! Hair goals 😍💕
Every time I watch a new video, you seem more and more beautiful. You are simply stunning!!!
Thank you Jennifer, I love all your tips! Great video 🌞
Great tips Jennifer, thank you.
Love this but what do you do about greys?
I love getting the notification when you upload ❤️ Great video, Jennifer! I also just downloaded the Polish Your Poise audiobook and am looking forward to listening to it on my commute to work!
Thanks for this. It gave a lot of perspectives.
Thanks so so much Jennifer, you are such a gem. Also, a very small constructive feedback, one day perhaps you may want to upgrade your microphone. It definitely sounds more hollow and echoey than some other vlogs. But he content is spot on!
Yay I love this series! Great video👏
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for letting me know ♥️
I love your channel! I find inspiration. I really like your neckless in this video. Is it an antique or is there a place that I can bye it?
Love your necklace
Great video. Loved all the tips
I would absolutely love a video like this as well!
Thank you for the request! I typically don't re-curl my hair until the next time I wash it. But my hair holds curls really well and I spray the curls with hairspray...
Maybe try heatless curls?
Maybe try heatless curls?
Self carE is so important
