A barista was asking me what my name was for my drink order. I thought he was asking me what flavor I wanted in my coffee so I said, “coconut”. He gave me the weirdest look, but I still didn’t realize what happened. Five minutes later he called out, “medium latte for Coconut” 🙈

I was a lead singer in a band, and I was yelling to the crowd to 'put their hands up and clap!" Everyone did but this guy sitting at a table alone with a beer on the table. He was smiling, nodding his head to the beat of the music, so I engaged and ran down to the dance floor in front of his table and said "What's the matter, you got no hands?!!?" and that's when he raised his two amputated arms at the elbows and started banging his stumps together.....I wanted to fall through the dance floor and disappear. Needless to say, all drinks were on me for him for the rest of the night. He was super cool about the whole thing, but I wanted to die!!!

Oh gosh I felt like I had to share my story. When I was 16 I did exchange in Japan and I had learnt Japanese for about 3 years then. I was in a family restaurant with my host family and I was teaching my host sister (who had very limited english) parts of the face so like eyes, nose, cheeks until I got to chin. She started laughing and I'm like wtf??? Then she whispered "chin chin" to me and I repeated it VERY loudly in the restaurant to find everyone there turned around to look at me and my host sister screaming at me to be quiet. I quickly translated it on my phone and... it meant penis... something my high school Japanese teacher obviously failed to teach me. I was MORTIFIED and ran to the bathroom. As a 16 year old, and being in the conservative country of Japan (and not in a big city) it shook me. Looking back it is absolutely hilarious and something I will never forget.

*i was 19 at the time and went to get my taxes done for the first time by a professional. The man brings me over to his desk and I'm sitting across from him talking away. I didn't realize that the arms of the chair were not full length. They were sloped so that there was a gap between the shortened arm and the back of the seat. As I was talking I slowly began sliding out of the chair until I was completely on the floor. I never stopped talking the entire time. I didn't even realize what was happening until it was over. I got up off the floor and sat back in the chair without ever missing a word.*
*but the funniest part is that when i went back a week later the same exact thing happened again.*
*it still makes me laugh heartily. I always wondered what it looked like to the man sitting behind the desk as i slowly sank down and out of view (and for it to happen twice). He never said a word to me about it which makes it even funnier.*

In high school, I accidentally threw away my retainers in the trash. Those things aren’t cheap and if I lost them, my mother would’ve grounded me for life. I began to dig through the trash in the middle of the quad then the bell began to ring so the whole school walked past there... I eventually got my retainers! Made sure to disinfect them well before using them again, but I was known as “trash girl” by the end of that day... didn’t stick though. That nickname was ridiculous anyway lol.

Sarah Davis i did something like this for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend of 6 years! We drew questions out of a hat and took turns answering. It was really fun and enlightening. I, of course, also included some questions that set the mood if you know what I mean 😉

At a _funeral_ for a friend’s dad, my brother was standing next to me. He kept whacking me, over and over so one else could see (not hard, but annoying). I tried SO hard not to laugh, but that just made it excruciatingly hard... and I BURST out laughing just as the coffin was being lowered into the ground. I panicked and didn’t know what to do, so I lowered my head into my hands to hope against hope that it looked like I was crying.
I got out of there as fast as I could before anyone could burn me at the stake, or something, because I KNEW everyone thought I was horrible. I had never been so embarrassed in my entire life!
At my aunt’s house later, she made some comment about how emotional I got, and I thought she was being sarcastic... So I said, “Oh my GOD, you didn’t know??” She’d had no idea. My brother then told me that it looked SO real, HE almost busted out laughing.
So, my most embarrassing moment was also my greatest triumph!

I was in Walmart stoned , there was this cute guy as the cashier and my social anxiety kinda went up. Paid for my things and ended up telling him have a goodnight while walking away with an empty Walmart bag
One day, I was walking by the shop street, and say a boy who was my childhood crush, I did not want to go and talk but wanted him to come talk to me, so to grab his attention, I was walking left and right in front of him, and when he say me, exactly at that moment, a bird pooped right on my shoulders 😅😅😅, he started laughing out of control, that was so, embarrassing 😥

In fifth grade we played catching and when it was my turn, I ran after this boy, and I don’t know why, but we both fell down and I had my back turned towards him so I didn’t see him and when I wanted to finally catch him, I just slapped his leg ( I thought it was his leg...)
And it turned out it was his butt and everyone was starring at me because I just randomly slapped his ass...😂😂 I was soo embarrassed now I think it’s funny
My embarrassing story is probably when my classmate brought cookies for his birthday and he was giving them to everyone and he put one on our table, so I thought it was for me and I took it, and he came back to his seat and asked who took his cookie, but I couldn't tell it was me bc I know everyone is going to judge me, so I kept it in my backpack. I'm still feeling so bad about this, idk
In 3rd or 4th grade at lunch time I had my tray and was in front of the line to check out. As I was leaving I went to grab a packet of plastic silverware and knocked the whole container over, spilling the packets everywhere. I had to set my tray on the metal bar and get down to pick everything up, holding up the line for everyone else. After a minute or two I got everything back in the container, grabbed my tray, and started profusely apologizing as I walked backwards. Next thing I know i bump into something hard, fall in a 180 degree spin and land on my knees as my tray goes flying, my food going everywhere. I fell over a handicapped kid in a wheelchair that was being pushed by a teacher behind me. I don’t remember what I even did after that or if I was able to get more food, but I still have that feeling of wanting to disappear forever whenever I think about what happened. 🤦🏼♂️

When I was in 7th grade, I bled through my PE uniform to my seat. The seat was beige and there was this huge red stain and I was so embarrassed, I put my books on top of it and sat on my books after I wrapped my sweatshirt around my waist. I was going to clean it the next day (it happened in my last class of the day) but I got super sick and couldn't go to school for 3 days. When I went back, my books were no longer on my chair and the stain was almost gone (it did stain the seat a bit) and the boys in my class started to laugh when they realized someone had found out about my accident. They started to call me names and saying they already understood why my boobs were so big and would pick on me so much. I changed schools after that.
Many boys are never taught decency and morals by their parents. SMH.

@@AO-vj9gl ok this one is a bit of both/crush. when I was in middle school I had a massive crush on a boy he was so cute, funny, nice personality, well dressed, and smart. No one knew I kept it a secret well that's what I thought he knew I had a crush on him somehow I guess it was obvious one day he asked me if I wanted to be his gf 😱 and that's where I fucked up turns out he was my cousin and he said that to make fun of me 😖😭😂. I know at first he did like me but at some point he was told I was his cousin 😂. I never saw him the same way again 😂😂. I asked my mom as soon as I got home about him she said he was my cousin and his mother tried to get with my dad. So weird.
@@AO-vj9gl another one when I was Little I was taking a shower and my mom had some people over I don't even remember who they were but they were visiting us in Chicago they came to our house in the middle of my shower. Anyways I was taking a shower when I was done there was no towel 😱😱 I never forget my towel and out of all days I forget it that day I never took my clothes in the bathroom with me because I hate getting dressed in a steamy room and it kinda makes me feel dirty. So I had no towel and no clothes😰. I had to call for help so I was calling and no one gave a fuck so the only thing I had left is run to my room which was next to the living room where everyone was at 😰. So I ran as fast as I could possibly go . Idk if anyone saw me but that was so embarrassing to me and I still remember it clearly. And I still get embarrassed. And I have never forgotten my towel ever again.

These videos are oddly addictive and touching. The only negative point for me is the background music - I struggle to hear what's being said if there is background noise, so it was a bit difficult to hear everything. But the videos are still amazing. For some reason they make me feel more connected to ither people and that we're all in this together - I think it's the honesty with which most people answer and hearing their own struggles, regrets, memories etc.

I was in a hall with about 399 other people and everyone was silent and I farted VERY loudly🤣all the people infont of me turned around and the only reason they knew it was me is because I whispered “sorry...” if I had never said that then I would have been fine 😬😂🤣

I am 31 as of this post. When I was 14, I was walking down the street when 13 dogs surrounded me and 5 mauled me for approx 15 minutes . I spent a few weeks in the hospital, my first day back in school, I was still weak covered in over fifty lacerations hundreds of stiches and all the jocks in school keep pushing me and telling me I was a. P***y, telling me they would have killed the dogs, i knew they wouldn't have been able to, I was there ,I saw it for what it truly was , they still made me feel really sad and embarrassed, when I was just happy to be alive until that first day back in high school.
I'm 24 now and I'm dead scared of dogs, the sight of dogs scares the shit out of me!!! You are no less than a hero to me to have survived that incident......if it was me, my heart would have stopped work right on the spot!! Bravo 🎉🎉
In my freshman year of high school, I had brought some sanitary napkins to school to change between classes. It was still early in the school year, where we all were trying to find out niche/clique and be cool. I had just taken my seat in homeroom, when one of my pads slipped out and fell on the floor. One of my classmates tapped me on the shoulder and asked "Is that yours?" and she wasn't the only one watching me at the time. I was mortified, but picked up the pad after staring at it for about 10 seconds, and heard the girls start snickering, and make jokes. It only made me feel worse.

It was sophomore year and I awkwardly asked a girl for homecoming. She said yes just to be nice I’m pretty sure. I ended up making things awkward between the both of us and ended up ditching her at the game and went up the stadium to stay with my friend. I pretty much did my not talk to her for the rest of high school and destroyed my self confidence. Every time for then on out I didn’t want to talk to any of the girls at school because I feel as if they knew and thought I was some asshole :/

But since you know you didn't do it because you like to ditch her, then maybe you can try and tell yourself you're not an ass at all. Maybe escaping the extremely awkward situation was your coping mechanism. Everyone has that episode of "escape to the comfort zone" mode☺️

At my grandparents house a few years ago, they set up a slip n slide for my 9 year old cousin. However, I decided to be the guinea pig just to make sure it was okay. Me being the 21 year old daredevil, I ran up unnecessarily fast and couldn't slow down at the end. I slid off the end of the slide and slid onto a pinecone. There were about 5 very long symmetric bloody cuts that ran from the top of my torso to my lower abdomen. I still have the scars, although they are not super noticeable unless you actually looked for them. So yeah... A 21 year old who obtained scars on his chest from slip n sliding onto a pinecone.

We were watching The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas at school. It ended and most the class was crying, my best friend and I were sat at the back of the class, I cant remember what she did but she was purposefully trying to make me laugh. It worked and naturally everyone probably thought I was laughing at the end of the film🙃
My most embarrassing story:
When I was about 12 years old I went to a vacation trip with a lot of other young people (we got there by bus). When we arrived I was so happy I made the whole drive without to vomiting. When everybody stand up and passed me to leave the bus (I sat in the front) I just throw up right into my hands.. a lot... This was soo disgusting and embarrassing😳
I feel that I'm a person that even if the situation is not that awkward, it would look like it is as long as I'm around😂

I went out with some friends and my best friend was there we were all like in a fast food place and me and my bff needed to go to the bathroom so we went and we started talking and laughing soo hard and we both needed to pee but there was only 1 toilet free and my bff went first and by the time she came out I peed myself already so I had to ask my bff to borrow her hoodie and tie it around my waist 😂

I used to wear night contact lenses and of course, I forget to put them on from time to time during my high school years (I wear normal glasses now). Because of that, I usually spend the day pretending I was taking notes bc I didn’t want the teacher to yell at me but I was instead doodling on my paper. Also, since I couldn’t see well, I usually stare at people much longer than I would and I miss what they say bc I’m only focusing on trying to see them well xd. It’s super embarrassing when I hv to make the teacher repeat themselves like three times for me to understand xd
I told a "friend" that I think this guy likes me because he's sooo touchy and way too friendly for my taste and she then noticed and agreed that I might be right. Weeks later I found out this guy was courting/pursuing her and she didn't tell me. Another "friend" made a comment about me liking this guy and I knew where she heard it from because I only told one person about it and not surprised when most people I know thinks that I like this guy but he likes my "friend", and so I looked like THAT GIRL
I was at a family reunion and I was standing in front of everyone turned around because I was looking at something (I forgot) and my mom walked up to me and told me I bled through my shorts. I was so embarrassed, my whole family saw it. 😳
I was walking into the gates for school and the sidewalk was made up of these large concrete plates and one of the plates was slightly lifted from the ground so I tripped over it and I fell over side ways, I fell so hard that one of my shoes came off and I landed on my backpack and scrapped my knee and theres always a bunch of people in front of the gate getting dropped off and hanging out so a lot of people saw me fall and laughed at me. A girl came up to me and asked me if I was okay and helped me up, I said I was fine and when I walked into the gates a bunch of people were staring at me and I hated it.

My most embarrassing story would have to be in eighth grade. At the time I had a boyfriend and that day two of my teachers embarrassed me in front of the class. When I got to lunch, I broke down in front of the whole lunchroom and in front of him. He hugged me and he gave me his jacket to hide my face from everyone. His friends tried to comfort me but I was way too embarrassed to listen.
I was in art class and had to drow off from something infront of us from our prespective side...the whole class was busy and dead silent. I was bored so i grabed my phone ...even thou its not allowed in class. I opened my snapchat and i got a snap from someone i dont usually talk to. So i tot it must have been very suprizing to hear from this person. The valume was up...i clicked and it turns out its one of those vedios where someone just farts endlessly adn others laughing or fake laughs. I felt so emberessed. And the way i recated was even worse... my classmates must have thought it was me who farted ..just the way i reacted coz i did jump a bit and got emberessed and acted like nothing happend when literlly tht was laud enough to be heard from outside😂. They will forever think it was me. I think they will describe me " the one who farted in class"....

Being on a study trip in my first year of university, it happened to be my birthday one of those days and in the evening everybody kept buying me drinks at the local bar. I got more drunk than I'd ever been up to that point and on the walk back to the rented room I was staying at I lost all memory and 4 hours later at 6am the next morning discovered I made it to the house, stuck my key in the front door but in my drunken state apparently never managed to get the door to open and instead crossed the street, rang their doorbell repeatedly (nobody was in), puked several times and passed out in their driveway.
I felt awful because the woman who owned the house with the rented room had a baby and I'd left a key in their front door all night that anyone could have used.
To add to the embarrassment, the lady told my mom.
And who said Germans have no humour. The last one was hilarious.

It's like when you put your kid down to bed every night. There's bath time, pajamas, story, then into the same bed in the same room.
Imagine instead being wiped down with a towel, dressed in overalls and a straw hat, listen to some political talk radio, and being set on the sofa in the other room. Huh? Not what was expected. What happened to bedtime, that used to be so warm-and-fuzzy?

I live in the country, no neighbors, quiet road, plenty of privacy. Two girls would jog past my home everyday at around 8-9 am, traffic was mainly commute in the morning and evening. 1:30 in the afternoon is a good time to relax in the sun with a drink, book and nude. I decided I wanted a chair to sit on so I figured it'd be safe to walk up to my barn and get a chair. When I got just past the corner of the barn I heard girls talking and they appeared from behind a walnut tree, it was the two jogger chicks and I was standing there stark naked, didn't know what to do (so I just covered my eyes so they couldn't see me), I tried to back away but it was to late. Thankfully the girls didn't giggle to my face, they just kept jogging on.

This isn’t really that big of a deal but it makes me laugh so hard. So i was in my english class and we were doing a worksheet my teacher just passed out, well the person sitting next to me his name was Miles, and as I was writing my name on my paper, I wrote his first and last name by accident and I didn’t notice until a few minutes later after we got instructions abt the assignment. Anyway I look at the paper again and I immediately grab my eraser and wrote my name instead, I hope he didn’t see it, but he probably did since I was turned around😂 it’s just weird because it was so subconscious he probably was wondering why I was thinking about his name😂
My embarrasing story:
So I was playing outside with my BFF,like usually.Then 2 kids of the higher grade came up to us.They were those trolling types.So they asked us:’What’s Obama’s back name?’ And I recognized Obama,but I didn’t know from where.So I started guessing....yep-they laughed at us and said: ‘Obama IS his back name!It’s Barack Obama!’ So I was embarrased...My BFF and I went away,never talked to those kids again.

Oh man... my senior year I high school... at an awards ceremony.. I was awarded the John Phillip Suza award for leadership. Everyone was there in a very small school... in a hot cafeteria with metal chairs and I had this cute silky skirt and was wearing thongs... I walked up with the biggest smile on my face and accepted the award. When I walked back to my chair, EVERYONE looked horrified... my butt shown the entire way up to the front... I was in 8th grade and I had like $5 that I had to give to a music teacher for a field trip to the opera. I did not carry a purse and didn’t want to lose the money so I put it in my bra, intending to go give it to him between classes. I was sitting in Algebra when the music teacher came to the door and asked my math teacher if he could just get my money for the field trip. I reached into my sweater and pulled out the $5 bill and the whole class started laughing and my math teacher, who was a ginger, turned beet red. At the time I didn’t know why everyone was so shocked tho I was not intending to let people know I had the money in my bra but I didn’t think it was such a big deal until I got that reaction. Another junior high thing was I had some bell bottoms on and they were a bit long. I was going down stairs in between classes so not many kids were in the hallway except one or two students at lockers. As I went down the stairs, my shoe caught on the pants leg and I fell down the stairs to the hallway floor and, without skipping a beat, a girl at her locker looks at me and says, “ Good show, girlie!” No offer to help. That line that she said has followed me throughout my life and I’m in my mid-60s now.
Worst one for me was when I barfed my boxers at school...1st period

My most embarrassing event is"over a phone call to my NCC officer I told that sir today I am l unable to attain the Camp ,sir told no excuses n i told him the reason "I am on my period" n i cnt come. And I told this in concern with he understand because he is Zoology professors, so in hope he understand it well. Yeah this most embarrassing thing till now n ever after.
