The moment i feel most alive is when I'm driving around with a good friend at night and all the windows are down . The air is hitting you and telling you that you are free and a good song is playing on the radio . You're feeling it!! Happiness is all over you and you feel so alive and good! The night is so beautiful and the town is shining from the lights! Damn I need a ride.

Tjocksnorris äventyr just read the scriptures, the Book of Mormon Doctrine and Covenants, and you will feel that amazing power. Think about the restoration of Christ’s church in 1830 compared to now. For 1000s of years we had no technology, and yet seemingly “all of a sudden” there is technology, first starting off by remarkable scientific discoveries/“accidents” then followed by revolutionizing ideas and devices. Think about all living things. If one thing, ONE thing did not exist, for example something so simple as say Phosphorous, we would not exist. If we had no nitrogen nothing would exist. Our bodies are designed in a way that could never have existed purely by chance. Just because most people haven’t seen God doesn’t mean we can’t know by ourselves through faith. In the scriptures, no matter the Bible, BOM-it says that he *_wants_* to reveal things to us. I’ve had some amazing experiences over my 15 year old life, that I can’t deny it, and even from the scriptures, I’ve just felt amazing things that nothing can bring about. Also, if you want a more factual basis, concluding that “this 15 year old is some brainwashed religious freak,” think about the universe. If the Big Bang happened, it would contain all the planets and stars and have infinite volume and yet 0 mass. How could this singularity have come into existence, because the law of conservation of matter and energy states “energy and matter cannot be created or destroyed in a closed system.” Even if matter “came into existence”- well first, it would start off as energy and matter can only translate to energy and only energy can be connected with the matter that it previously was. Tell me. How could the Big Bang happen, starting with a singularity as it going from non existence to existence? That would be breaking a universal law and you simply CANT break that. You also can’t create life from millions of degrees of temperature and somehow get a stable atmosphere and a perfect length from the sun and have life as a result. Even it says that we are made from matter in the universe, which would make sense because you can’t create something out of nowhere (unless idk, you’re God and you can but we don’t know that). Just take some time to think about that, pray about that, but please. By believing in god, there is so much hope, that you’re not alone and that there is someone greater that has suffered ALL things-Christ. Even if you are doubting me at this very moment you are reading. Take time to pray and humble yourself. This world is becoming increasingly contentious and you should seek to learn to stand out and be a light and bring joy to others lives, if you already aren’t, but be nice to everyone no matter their situation, and not to judge. Only God is the judge of all things. We should only be submissive to that fact and restore faith in humanity and our society by accepting everyone around us.

every time I go to a concert I have this moment when I'm so aware of everything that's happening and the music and the people surround me and suddenly I know that I'm alive and am filled with so much joy
Edit: Wooow you guys, I´m so happy that there are so many people out there with the same feelings as me! I know we all miss concerts right now. What helps me sometimes is watching Concerts of my favorite bands on youtube and seeing all these people enjoying themselves. 2 times -
My senior year, on my 18th birthday. I was so confused and hurting and in love for the first time and terrified of the future. I never wanted the moment to end because I was so scared.
A year later, after I graduated high school and moved to Hawaii. I spent the day running around the island taking photos with friends. At sunset, we hopped a fence, found a hill that overlooked the ocean and just talked about how amazing life was while the sun went down. It made me realize I had no reason to be scared before. I felt so alive and like there were endless possibilities. I never wanted the moment to end because I was so happy.

The moment I felt most alive:
Celebrating the New Year(2016) with my ex in his country with his family. They have a tradition where (if you’re near ocean), you jump over seven small waves to bring good luck in the next year.
After the countdown, we opened a bottle of champagne, and then the two of us with his family (and all the other people living in his city) simultaneously running to the ocean to jump seven waves together while fireworks were being lit and sparkling all over the sky and reflecting from the ocean. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Thank you for this video, it made me really question myself with What's being really alive? I can't really remember a time i felt really alive and that i could say it outloud. I breath, my heart still works, i still move. But what is really alive? People go trough alot of stuff. I did and still. You just got moments in life when you feel like giving up and dead inside. Like, my body works but there is no life. There are ups and downs in life and i am sure one day. Everyone would feel alive.
I just haven't found it yet.

I was in a café, and got talking to a french musician (I'm a musician also) and somehow agreed to play the next evening at the café with him and his friend. I brought my violin, and we played traditional folk music together. People started to dance. I don't speak French very well, and was out of my comfort zone - but I felt so alive. Music is a universal language.

The moment I felt most alive (moments actually) I was at this Christian youth camp and it was night, they where playing worship music and I decided to sing outside of the church. It started to rain and I just stood there singing my heart out, rain pouring down on my face drenching me, while I danced and sang, then I ran down the wet grassy hill by the church with a friend running and laughing, I felt so awake, alive. This other time at the camp I was waiting my turn for the outdoor showers but the line was too long so I decide to walk into the woods behind the showers. It was golden hour and the huge trees loomed over me, I walked through the tall trees looking up at the sky, the clouds moving so fast and the wind blowing softly, causing the leaves the fall. I ran through the grass attempting to catch all the leaves. I danced and sang spun around and fell onto the grass looking at the golden rays filtering through the trees. I sat there in the grass picking a flower and listening to the trees rustle in the wind and the birds in the distance and I thanked God for the wonderful things that He put in my life. The end ish I had another but it would be too long.. But think it had something to do with being with God and getting close because all the moments I have where all the here at this camp. if you made it this far GIVE IT A LIKE LOL. Probs no one..? Lol😂

the moment i felt more alive, or better, the only moment i've ever felt alive was at a concert, a coupe of weeks ago. it was amazing. i had so much fun, i felt so free, i sang all the songs, i cried and i laughed so much, i danced. for once in my life i felt free from the barriers i put on myself every day. i didnt care about what the people around me thought about me, i didnt care if i didnt know the words exactly, i didnt care about anything, i was so alive. it felt so good. it was a magical experience and i'm so so happy i went to the concert, i was so scare about going because i hadnt been following the artist that much, i wasnt that big of a fan anymore, instead he played all my favourite songs, he said he loves my country and that he hopes to come for many more concerts. it was the most amazing thing ever. for the first time in my life i felt accepted! i felt loved and i actually enjoyed myself. i'm actually crying right now. i finally get what i studied years ago, what Schopenhauer meant when he said music is the will of living. one of the few ways to get closer to reality. i totally get him now. i'm crying because i dont think i'll ever be able to feel the same way i felt at that concert. Thank you Tom Odell, thank you so much.

last summer, i went to croatia with my family. It was a pretty cold day and we went hiking and ended up on this beautiful mountain that was surrounded by gray clouds. Like literally, you couldn't see further than 2 meters. Then as we were sitting on the top of the mountain a strike of light suddenly came out of the clouds and the clouds opened up a little. The grayness was surrounding us but a small section of clearness appeared. The clearness showed us a part of the sea. In that moment it was all quiet and suddenly i felt warm. All i felt was warmness and the light breeze of wind. It felt unreal. That is the moment i've felt most alive.

Anion Holmes God cares about you. He cares about your job; He cares about your fears; He cares about your spouse; He cares about your children; He cares about your parents; He cares about your worries; He cares about your finances; He cares about your car and your house; He also cares about your character, and He cares about you caring about Him and caring for others. He is a caring God.
You cannot out-care God. His capacity to care is infinite and his competence to care is matchless. You can care because He cares. There is no care of yours that God does not care about. If it is important to you, then God cares about it. Yes, you will experience misdirected cares, but God’s desire is to come alongside you and realign your cares with what He cares about the most. He cares enough to bear your anxieties and to replace them with His peace and assurance.
When you give God your worries, you in turn, receive His calming presence. God’s system of care is countercultural. God transforms your cares into what He cares about; so cast your cares on Christ.
He cares so much hat he did something special for you. He sent his son, who he loves very much, to suffer and die on the cross. By Jesus dying on the cross, he was the innocent sacrifice that we needed to get to know God personally. We can not know God personally if we don’t not ask him into our hearts and save us from our sins. We are all sinners and Jesus paid the price for us. Ask him into your heart. God can lift your burdens and break your chains. God cares for you and wants to know you personally. Ask God unto your heart today! Lift the burdens off of you shoulders for he cares for you.

Thank you for writing such a beautiful positive message. That really resonated with me today. It is something that I have learned to be true in my life. When I let my god look out for me and simply try to do the best thing the results match the Intent. But when I try to run all the lights song and dance to my own ballet of life, it usually falls apart pretty quick and spectacularly. My god never runs out of love for me or anyone else, however he will let me fall on my face if I want to call the shots again. I used to be a full blown atheist, which I understand now is equally non verifiable as the existence of him, and that has helped me agree to just attempt. Really that’s when I have made the most confident, most logical and successful plans, when I let my true intent dictate the direction of my actions as well as listening. For his response.

I think that is part of, but I don't really agree. I think it is any time you feel something like ecstasy or feel in touch with the moment and the people you are with. Something that makes you think "wow, this is life" or just something that allows you to forget about the daily struggles and stresses of life.

I have a random one that popped into my head:
when i was in seventh grade, my family went over to my best friends house for some super bowl party. my best friend and i snuck out as it got dark and laid on her cold drive way and looked up into the stars and talked about what was out there in space. i’ve never felt more small in the universe and more alive on earth then in that exact moment.

The moment I felt most alive: When I ventured out one day this past summer by myself and explored old abandoned and burned out houses. I'm agoraphobic (among other things) and had been trapped in my house for nearly a decade. My psychiatrist added another antipsychotic to my medication cocktail and it has literally saved my life. I will never ever forget that day. The way the houses smelled, the way the floors creaked and crunched under my feet, the sound of twigs snapping as I trekked through the woods to get to some of them, and in one of them where a fire had consumed the entire upper floor and the staircase led to the sky. It was magnificent.

The time I felt most alive I was 17 years old, summer 2017. I fell inlove at 15 we were together for 2 years, 2 years of abuse, trauma and destruction in the most inhumane ways. 2 summers went by where I wasn’t aloud to go to the beach , I went to the beach once in the ugliest bathing suit you could buy with my bestfriend and mom and still had to hear about it. I finally found the strength to leave, It was the first day of summer 2017, I bought the sexiest bathing suit I could find, a case of corona and a bus pass to the beach. I sat on the bus waiting to get the beach and just stared at the sun over the fields and almost cried from the overwhelming feeling of being free, I probably looked so stupid to the people sitting around me but they will never understand, I was reborn and re-powered that day.

I feel the most alive when I'm on the back of a horse. Especially the horse I ride right now. His name is Levi. I've known him since I was 5, I'm 15 now. He's about 14 or 15 too. He pushes me to be better. I finally understood my brother last night because of Levi. He has taught me so much. His owner struggles a lot with money though so I'm going to try to work odd jobs this summer to help her with board. I have $100 set aside for a concert but if his owner needed the money that bad, it would go to her right away. But Levi, man he is great. He is my bestest buddy. He is trouble and tests me a lot. The majority of the horses I have ridden in the past have all been very forgiving of rider mistakes but Levi isn't so I think that is what has taught me the most. There is no room for mistakes or I'm going to be on the ground before I even know what happened. He forces me to live in the moment and focus only on him and me. If I'm far away in time when I'm with him, he takes advantage of it and will land me on the ground. That happened once and I never went past the moment we were in again. He was just walking and I was thinking so he took off and then slammed on the breaks. I went over his head and landed on my butt/back. I was bareback and bitless at the time too so I had no way of staying on. I learned pretty fast to stay in the moment after that. I always feel free with him. I feel powerful, but not in a controlling way, just in the way that I know I can ride and it's not something many people can do and it feels so good. Riding, and truly riding, not just a nose to butt trail ride or being led around on a pony, is the best feeling in the world to me and it's something many are either too afraid to do or they are just unable to do. I feel the most alive and in the moment on the back of a horse.

He told me to trust him, so I scooted forward and he climbed on. I fell off and the water was so cold but as I reached the surface my eyes met his and I felt the most alive I have ever felt in my whole entire life.

I always remember one moment, where I was at a Wakey!Wakey! concert and my friend and I had to ran out during the last song, because we had to catch the last bus home. And it had been snowing outside, while we were at the concert. So when we got out of this tiny place he played in, everything was covered in snow and there were these tiny brick buildings with coloured fairylights everywhere. I remember we started running and everything around us looked so peaceful and you could still hear him playing his last long. It truly felt like we were in a movie at this moment :)
