Just wanted to add a side hustle that has worked extremely well for me. Tutoring. I enjoy it and I am good at it. Find a way to work with private schools (higher pay) and as a recent highschool graduate, I am easily making $30 a hour for one to two hour sessions. Even with just 2 students and four hours a week, you can make an easy $120 a week. Now imagine a few more students. This applies to any kind of lessons - if you can play an instrument, teach a sport, etc... Your knowledge is gold.
Yes. I just started online tutoring with two different companies. It's been so great. $325 a month at one company and 300 a month at another. That's if I clock 1 hour a day (week day) at each job. So $600 ish a month for roughly 50 hours of work a month seems good to me.

I agree!!! I started in November and didn't gradually went to $1300 by January and it's been consistent. Though ever since school is ending for a lot of people, the market is quieter, but it's not impossible.
Do I have to take a college course? I'm not a high school student. I'm 39 yr bus driver. But tutoring has always been something I'm interested in.
Do you work through an agency? How do you find tutoring opportunities?
Suggestion: Start using video chapters. GREAT video, but really 1 & 2 are not me. Chapters speed the process.

I made the mistake of thinking my employer cared...
Then after our most profitable year in over a decade, there are redundencies. And to hear the CEO talk, he actually said that redundancies are good, and were all ungrateful for not being excited about them.
Luckily, I'm still employed, but looking for secondary incomes incase I'm not so lucky next time

She did say $2000 for 20 hours a week, but if you look at the screen, she imposed a diagram that crossed out the word week and wrote in month. It was a mistake. Therefore, her calculation is correct.
She meant 20 hours a month

How do you protect yourself from liability when bookkeeping?
Btw… tell your video editor to do less of the zoom in/out vid pops while your full screen. As I’m learning about vid editing I see these so often now on YT vids and I know it’s meant to keep visual interest but it’s also uber distracting when done too often and here your editor is doing it like every 5-7 secs. I can tell the editor is matching the cadence of your speech but it’s waaaay too often. I’d at least double the interval. Otherwise great vid. 👍
No Rose … I disagree with the previous commenter… tell your editor to go bananas and Zoom so frequently that he discovers a new UA-cam Meta on viewership retention 😏
The zoom in/outs are not normally meant to keep visual interest and such. They're meant to smooth over scene splicing and mini-edit outtakes.

Absolutely on options! Though since the market has a natural overall upward trend, selling OTM calls is much tougher than selling OTM puts.
Just be sure to sell the puts on negative days. Buy back on the positive days. Rinse and repeat

My clients used Buildium for THEIR property management so I came in as the bookkeeper that was familiar with their Buildium accounting system

Unfortunately, the things I am really good at no longer interest me! Been a freelance copywriter for years, it's extremely hard to land good clients, and when you do, they want your soul. I am now put off writing (my passion) because of working 15 years as a writer for clients. A good side hustle in this case is probably teaching/coaching what you know, which I find more enjoyable.
