Ok, as I was editing this video I figured i should go look up EXACTY how much I made from each of these in 2023 so I did look at my financial statements. Here is how that breaks down:
Total revenue was actually $53,868 (so $54,000 instead of the $55,000 I said)
    Affiliate Marketing - $11,168
    Brand Partnerships - $30,800
    Coaching - $1,325
    Trip Facilitation - $2,467
    Instagram - $287
Retail (Digital and Physical Products) - $3,222
    Speaker Fees - $3,815
    UA-cam - $784

Hi. Totally off topic. I was trying to become a nurse (and maybe I still am) but I can't seem to pass A&P. It along with part 2 and medical terminology, which I've taken already are my prerequisites to apply to program. Is it worth it try again, in your opinion, 21 years in?

    • @nursechuckles
      @nursechuckles 29 днів тому

@ It's never too late to achieve your goal of being a nurse. However, you may find it easier to create a nursing Registry, and staff nurses. This will yield an excellent income if done correctly. Malpractice insurance for I believe up to 100 employees is about $125 per month through the NSO, for California, there’s a bit more to it than that, but definitely an avenue. As far as becoming a nurse, science pre-requisites are only good for 7 years most places. You can, however, bypass repeating any pre-requisites by entering a private nursing school. They often find ways of allowing you in the program without having passed anatomy and physiology, etc. first, and they incorporate the needed education during your program. These schools are pricey, but often allow you to skip the waiting list😎.
I was a clinical nursing instructor off and on from 2015 to 2022, I also past the NCLEX on my first attempt in 2003. I offer 1:1 tutoring, as well as nurse mentorship for new grads and aspiring nurses, if you want to get more acquainted. While I was in the nursing program, I worked at what was then Sav-on Pharmacy ( now CVS), as a pharmacy clerk, and I believe that gave me a slight advantage when it came to medical terminology/ pharmacology/ math. Please feel free to contact me on my website @ www.mytwocentschs.com or Google My Two Cents Community Help Services, for a Free 30 minute consultation via chat or telephone. 👑If you decide you want guidance after the consultation, it’s $1/ month for the Community Plan and $5 per month for the Healthcare Apprentice Plan. So, $6/ month gets you access to an individualized study plan and mentorship, cancel any time.
If you decide, you want to do something other than nursing the $1 per month covers skill-building R/T dropshipping, utilization of Canva, website building, etc. Blah blah blah🤣🤣 I obviously can go on and on. Get in touch👑Otherwise, we can just connect here, I just subscribed to you👋🏾

@@Agejoyfully Hey hey, this field will run you into the ground if you let it🤣. I'm a 3rd generation RN, and never taught about business or entrepreneurship. 🧐I also, think it’s no accident that most Associate Nursing Programs, teach individuals to be “worker bees”, not entrepreneurs nor keen researchers, or educators. Once we get addicted to the money, the idea of venturing into anything else sounds ridiculous to ourselves and others.🧐We can't even complain to people about our working conditions or expectations, because the world feels like we're paid enough to take it.
Side hustles I actively participate in:
*Upwork - just check it out! You do have to earn $100 to collect your money. I signed up 2022, and did a little work 2023 to see how it worked, and if itveas legit. I just now got active on there again in the last 2 months after separating from a horrible work environment.
*ShiftMed- a completely online, no hassle nursing Registry. The world needs us, and everyone is not cut out to care for other. So, if nursing is your calling Registry is the best way to avoid nurse burnout. This Registry pays you 65% of your pay the next day, then the rest weekly. You're allowed to request early payout once daily.
*Home health, and only see a few patients here and there because the Oasis form is horrible. I prefer only the follow ups🤣, very easy documentation. You may have 1 day to a week to turn in your documentation.
*Dropshipping - No money out of your own pocket for products, and although I pay for a Pro Canva account you really can still create great designs for clothing, books, etc. with the free account. I pay for my website that I built through Wix (Google My Two Cnts Community Help Services (DBA) ~ Harriet & Nightingale’s Proteges (LLC) @www.mytwocentschs.com, and for my shopify site Nurses With Hobbies where I sell customized items etc.
*Lyft - Feel free to use my link www.lyft.com/drive-with-lyft? 😎. You can make $100 to $350 daily depending on how you schedule your rides and drive time. I also drive for Door Dash and Uber.
      * Tik Tok - you only need 1,000 subscribers to go live, but 10,000 to be part of the creator program. I set out to see how it worked in 2022, and a free platform to promote business. I have made money going LIVE, and most recently I do affiliate marketing on Tik Tok. You don't need to be popular to make money on there. Lets connect ❤️‍🔥 www.tiktok.com/@nursechucklesrn, I only have 11.7K supporters, and I have no Niche🤣. Please visit my Tik Tok Shop, the holidays are coming 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾if you're going to buy, buy from me 😏.
I’m also monetized on IG, but I haven't made any money there. I don't sell my own items on Tik Tok, but I might start.
*I’ve sold a few copies of an Ebook I created and self-published recently R/T to Diet Tips and Management of Pancreatitis. I list it for $8 dollars, and a $5 off pops up as people use the link, making the digital download only $3. I also sell a Bounded Copy, for those of us who still appreciate a tangible item. If you visit my Pinterest Page for My Two Cents Community Help Services, you will notice items I've created, and my IG is programmed to auto-publish videos I create on IG. So, if I post videos with products, I put the pay links on Pinterest.
If you would like to see one of my Ebook previews, and other items in my Nurses With Hobbies Shop, use the following link:
      nurses-with-hobbies.myshopify.com/ 👑.
I’m also cleared as an Amazon Seller, Amazon Affiliate, as well as an Amazon influencer. I can sell my own products, but I want to sell everyday items. I'm still getting my act together on Amazon, and learning the ropes because I don't want to get kicked out of their Programs. I believe Amazon is a place people can see great success as a seller or affiliate🤣🤣I just can't say I've succeeded there yet! Everytime I find good stuff, I know would sell itself, it requires approval. The approval requires you to show proof of a certain amount of sells or purchases on Amazon, and haven't tried to meet those requirements yet. I made it my goal to be successful on Amazon this year🎯. So, I just started showing my Amazon channel some love a couple months ago. I'm clear to sell in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
I’m also a Clickbank Affiliate since 2022, but that's avenue I havent’t walked down much, but I definitely can see the potential. I figured this month I’ll start Blogging on my website again. I did a few crappy Blogs in 2022 & 2023 that weren't put together well and no affiliate links. Now, I've mastered some new skills😎, and I’ll be checking out Clickbank again.
Finally, like MsTaffy showed us, Offer Up and Facebook Marketpace are great places to sell used items. I haven’t been doing much on those sites but I'm about get active again.
Blah blah blah🤣 Longstory short, now I'm on UA-cam with a goal of getting 1,000 subscribers, and some of this Ad Sense Money🤑. My channel looks like I've been active for years, but it was a regular channel for music, then 2022 I started posting a few things here and there, and changed the name to Nurse Chuckles, RN Community. I got 100 new Subscribers in the last 3 weeks🤓 between that and Dough Dash, I'm motivated to add Value to my channel.
P.S. Just subscribed to your page👑

@ those were the easier courses than nursing classes and if having trouble with that, I am not sure what to say to you. I do not want to discourage you. In addition, I love doing paid surveys/studies and focus groups, training AI with A/B testing, and transcription. I’m trying to get back into UA-cam now that I’m not a full time student anymore and I have a lot of stories and advice to share, even as a fresh 24 year old woman, about my personal experience with chronic pain, autism diagnosis, and life challenges (recently posted a video about my car crash).

I got tired of buy designs I could do on my own. I am far from being an artist, but I love technology, so I used my technical skills to create digital designs. @ I think its worth it, to market yourself there as well as look for jobs. Think of it like Indeed or Zip Recruiter, but some people pay on Upwork to put their work proposal to the top of the list, I don't pay for anything😎. If they want you, they will reach out to you base on your profile, and you can reach out to them and make a proposal. How worth it, it is, is based on how you market yourself, what your skills are, and what new skills you may possible want to learn to market yourself.
🤑As far as payment, you have to have made $100 to with draw your payment. So let’s say you do a project that takes an hour, and it's a $50 gig, you can’t with draw until you hit $100. However, people definitely pay. P.S. just subscribed to you.

There is 'truely passive income'. It is the compounded interest that you get from investments. Compounded interest is a wonderful thing.

    • @LibryiaJones1
      @LibryiaJones1  Місяць тому +5

Yes, compound interest IS a wonderful thing!! It still requires up front money, time to research, or hiring someone to research….as I said there are levels of effort, while low, it still requires SOME investment of someone’s time and money up front.

    • @evelynbarry5046

@@LibryiaJones1 Requires the money upfront but when you get interest on your interest that is money that you didn't have to work for.

@@evelynbarry5046 yep. That’s why I said everything requires SOME work up front AND THEN becomes passive. But everything requires SOMETHING up front. That’s all I’m saying. I signed people up for 401ks for a living and used to have to write articles and teach workshops about compound interest and dollar cost averaging, plus my MBA studies were focused in finance so, I get it…I just want people to know pretty much everything requires SOME up front investment of time and/or money. I feel like the only truly fully passive income is being born into a family with money, lmao.

Thank you for sharing all these ideas and just reading all the comments really helps. So many lanes to be in just have to find what works for you. I recently had a small settlement from an accident and wanted to flip that into some passive income. Btw you look like you could be Niecy Nash’s little sister 🥰

I was let go from my job after 19yrs. Then a year at another job. I was part of a layoff. Such B. S. It has taken a HUGE toll on my self esteem. I have been without work for a year now.
I don't know what I want to do now. Being my own boss and hustles are what I am leaning towards.
    Where do I begin 🤔
