Hustling until I’m debt free. I’m a nurse, and have THREE jobs (one full time, salaried role & 2 on call / per diem jobs). When I tell you I’m either working, working, or, on my days off, WORKING some more. 😂 I may be suffering, but I’ll only have to do this for another year or two before I’m debt free and squared away financially. Getting there!

Invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run.

Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.

I completely agree; I am 60 years old, recently retired, and have approximately over 2million dollars in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, the Fin-advisor can only be neglected, not rejected. Just do your due diligence to identify a fiduciary one.

If you are planning for retirement Here are some key pointers. Firstly, kick-start your savings early to benefit from compounding. The longer your money has to grow, the better. Secondly, make the most of retirement accounts like 401(k)s and IRAs, especially if your employer offers a matching contribution - it's essentially free money. Thirdly, diversify your investments across different assets to mitigate risk. Think stocks, bonds, and real estate.

He admitted the company knows it's basically a scam and the drivers aren't getting paid anything meaningful once you consider wear & tear on the car. He told me "these people go out and buy a $20,000 car, make $10,000 driving, but when they're done the car is worth $12,000 and they spend $2k in maintenance and gas" Only the company made money. Unless the driver gets a killer tip, most aren't making anything. Most quit after 6 months once they figure out how little they actually made, but the business model is designed to constantly bring in new blood, people that can't figure out the cost accounting side of it.

Watch out with reselling. Some of the larger thrift stores like Goodwill caught on to people flipping goods on eBay, Poshmark, and other second-hand market, and they jacked up their prices because they figured that people are willing to pay higher prices for second-hand goods. Everyone who does it is saying you'll never get off the ground unless you have at MINIMUM a 4GPM gas powered power washer that is mounted to a truck or trailer with a hundred foot minimum hose, and that even includes if you do nothing but small jobs. And be prepared for lots of part replacements.
